Stay away from Enpal.

Their so-called "sales experts" make big promises when selling, pressuring you to sign quickly by claiming the offer will expire in a few hours. They are extremely responsive—until you sign the contract.

Once the contract is signed, reality sets in. They block contact on WhatsApp and offer no further support. If you try to reach customer service, you’ll encounter a bot, making it nearly impossible to get real help. Even if you manage to speak to a person, they only provide scripted responses rather than real solutions.

If you're considering buying from them—don’t. It will be a disaster.

A friend of mine had his roof damaged during installation, and for the past six months, he has been stuck in a back-and-forth battle with them. His entire upper floor remains unusable due to the damage they caused.

I have sent plenty of emails to support and after struggling for 6 months I decided to write this . You should be able to find all me emails in your portal :)

They way u responded to this message , I wish that level of customer support you can really offer.

There was a new trick. They wanted to sell me extension blocks for my battery, each block which you can buy for 729 Euros online, they wanted to have 1900 euros for it.

In addition to that, they tried to tricked me again but failed this time. They sent me an official offer, where it is clearly mentioned that it will be "verbindlich". They wanted me to sign it directly during the call, so that they can check if an installation of NOTSTROM is possible with my system or Not.
This is one of the most stupid trap I have ever seen.
Enpal, you want a person to sign an offer to really check if that offer is actually useable or not?
Seriously???

I will warn again everyone, stay away from them, dont get into this trap

The team was very fast, they finished one day earlier which was great as I only had one day without heating.

Communication and clear explanation of Mr. Jakob Geiger been found with lots of patience.

If you give them your number they will borderline harass you, calling you 3x every day - and you'll need to send a separate email to get your data deleted, that they do in a few weeks. I got a LOT of calls in 3 days until then. Interesting tactics.

All the process went well and smooth, super fast and well executed. So 5 stars for the job done. Within 3 days the system was built and functional. All was done very professionally from the Enpal team, most of them could speak English and were all super nice. The area was well cleaned after the job was finished. I can surely recommend Enpal.

August Update.
Unfortunately I have to report that the problem I had on the beginning still persist. We had the problem on the regarding the Payback points. We did miss 50000 points from the Payback promotion. After a low review on trust pilot we did manage to have the point credited to our Payback account. After 5 months, magic, Enpal did cancel the points, all gone. We did manage to contact them ( already this is a great achievement........ ) and we have been told to contact Payback directly. We did and the operator of Payback did confirm that the cancellation was done by Enpal. We did send this confirmation to Enpal and we got the reply: please contact Payback...... since then we are not able to contact an operator of Enpal. The chatbot is useless, getting someone of the phone a miracle..... after investing so much money with them is a shame that the level of service is so low. We have been told that after 6 months we should start to receive the compensation regarding the sold electricity but so far.....000000 I'm starting to regret my investment.

Does enpal in germany instal solar panels on weekends as well?

Filled in the online form to request for quote. 10 min later my phone rings with a AI voice telling me there is „exciting news“. Phone rings every 20 min! After less than 24 hours more than 10 calls. I sent an email requesting to immediately delete my phone number and data but did not get any response. Phone keeps ringing. Different numbers make it difficult to block. I will hand over to legal attorney now for harrassment clamis.

Amazing how you can turn a potential costumer into a legal opponent within only 24 hours. Congratulations!

Update 13.12.: Phone is still ringing 3-4 times a day! No reaction from Enpal.

Update 16.12. : Phone is still ringing 3 times a day. Enpal asks for contact data so they can delete my data (see below). I gave them the data once again, but nothing happend.

Used the online calculator to understand what Enpal could offer. I was contacted very quickly and asked for a video conference. OK, I agreed.
The video conference with our advisor ("Berater") was arranged quickly. Great! Of course, it was actually a sales call. That's no surprise. However, the call was awful. The salesperson was extremely pushy. Worse, he seemed annoyed that I needed some convincing to decide on whether I would buy their product. When I said that the offer for a solar installation was interesting but I would only consider it if it was accompanied by an offer for a heatpump (I want to change the energy system in the house in one go, not in two phases), he hung up on me.

This is a review about our dealings with the company ENPAL. This is the second review.
We have had a system installed at our house a few months ago and right when they were installing the solar panels , we realised we could fit an extra 6 panels on our roof ( the person who measured up made a mistake) We immediately contacted our sales representative who assured us this would be solved. We also had a problem with our existing meters being replaced without the readings been given to us. Everyone from Enpal assured us this would all be taken care of. After our first bad review we were contacted by a friendly person who helped us with the meter readings ( sort of ) but it is still not resolved…he has passed it on to his boss ‘Mike’

Our problem is that we can never get hold of anyone and all the contacts we have never respond to any messages or they say “ it is being passed on to the relevant department “
No communication whatsoever!!
Enpal was very helpful to get us to get their product and to sign up , but as soon as there is a problem we can’t get a response. With so many Solar companies now in Germany I would definitely NOT recommend Enpal.
Perhaps we will get some communication now.
After our first review we received a mail on 6/08/24 to say our complaint has been registered.
On the 23/09 we received an email regarding our meters.

Have a problem with my solar system. No internet connection, battery light flashing and fox ESS red light flashing. Last live chat we had they said an engineer will call or come out…. This has been ongoing now for about 7 to 8 weeks. No words to describe how frustrated I feel.

I picked this company because i found the marketing compelling. Households building something like a virtual power plant with an AI based algorithm to get best prices for selling and buying electricity.
Reality showed and aggressive calling and selling company without reflecting my needs and without answering my questions. This summited in lying to me about a signature i have to make in order for them to be able to look up who is the owner of my house. They put deadlines in their internal system which i never approved and put pressure on me and tried to fool me.

I can't say anything about the actual job Enpal offers to carry out. But they want to sell, they don't want to consult. I had entered into a video meeting with Enpal Germany in Berlin, which I expressly declared, when a person called five minutes after I had entered into the meeting online, a first-stop consulting that was meant to let me/us decide whether to go forward with Enpal. The day of the meeting the person that had been introduced as 'your solar energy expert' told me he couldn't do anything because Enpal held meetings only with all owners of real estate because they were the only ones who could decide. Therefore, two more persons, who are the legal owners of the estate in question, should join the meeting now or at a later date. This caveat hadn't been mentioned when I had the call right after entering into the meeting. And, of course, its legal nonsense because who decides depends on what the owners want in terms of decision making. But I was never asked for powers or a proxy. When I told the person that he was the expert for Enpal and I was the expert for our family, so we could as well talk together because this was not a decision meeting, but a consulting meeting, he literally replied he wouldn't blow his time on this because this wasn't a charity organization. I had the powers of the others ready at hand. He didn't want to see it, but preferred to insult. So, in short, Enpal wants people to blow their time for things they entrusted to one as their representative and wants so at the very first contact, which is an indicator of a bullying sales approach rather than a consulting and partnering approach. They might do a good job of the actual installation and running of solar energy installation, but they are no partner for me/us or anyone wanting the be consulted on what is to come. I have the names of both mentioned persons, but I guess Enpal can track them in their files.
UPDATE on Jul 29, 2024 AFTER CONTACTING ENPAL at the address they give in their reply: I provided all details that would allow them to track who I am and what the failed info videoconference was about two days after they replied here; told them they should be in touch if they wanted to take me seriously as a prospect and potential costumer; for the opposite case, set a deadline on Aug 2, 2024 by which they should have deleted all personal data processed by them in relation to the interest I had voiced for a possible solar energy project. I never got any qualitative reply, for three weeks. Yesterday, one week from the deadline, I received the confirmation of deletion of all my personal data. Not a single line of actual addressing my concern with the failed videoconference, not a single line on the personal circumstances I won't publish here that were referred to in my e-mail to the address they quoted in their reply and the click-through pages you have to fill out to set a videomeeting date. Possibly, their nil interest in doing anything the promised in the reply here simply came when in my e-mail message they saw they had messed with someone with a legal background. So, all this very likely confirms my impression: Enpal may be o.k. or even good at building solar energy installations, but they want to sell, they do not want to be a consulting and accompanying partner of their client. Repeat: Possibly o.k., but don't expect info or consulting.

I was curious and filled out the online form, but stopped short in the last step, where I was supposed to communicate when to be contacted ( directly or tome proposal from my end). Needless to say within 30 minutes I got anyway a call from Enpal, to schedule an appointment .
To make sure they send me a lot of nicely worded reminders, to connect with the video call was easy as well. It was a hot summer day and the Enpal lady had a quite revealing summer dress. A more professional outfit might have been preferred on my end. The information was easy to understand, it became pretty clear that the rent to own for 20 years was the core of the sales talk, which clearly wasn’t my interest. The enthusiasm of the sales lady went a tick down, but even with all the Enpal perks this Mietkauf wouldn’t have been financially useful in my current life situation. I got rushed to sign a form that technician would come out for free and that Enpal would need permission to review the Grundbuch, the sales lady failed to mention also a credit check with Schufa. Then an appointment was made for a technician to come out the house for final assessment…. The hooray email with appointment confirmation came in roundabout at the same time with another email, that based on the Schufa information my wealth isn’t enough for Enpal and they stepped back from the business. I got a chuckle out of that, because I could have told so. When I responded to the email another Enpal customer Relation agent called, it would be up to me with Schufa to correct my score… I moved back 4 years ago to Germany after living over 22 years abroad, so there is no German credit /bank history …good thing for me is that I have enough money to pay a local electrician to put a system on my house for a fraction of that what it was have cost going with the Enpal model.

Enpal have a great structural approach to the every single customer. They are fast, but not aggressive in process of targeting and conceptualization of the first offer.
But, unfortunately, thay didn't care of financial conditions of the potential customers and, also, they are, around 10-20%, more expensive than local providers...

I had my first interaction recently with Enpal. They had arrange an online meeting appointment soon after I had registered on their Website. The representative was very friendly and gave me necessary information for Solar installation. He answered all my questions with patience. He also tried his best to explain in English wherever I was not able to understand in German. Overall a very nice experience. Now I am looking forward for a site visit by an Enpal person which is also scheduled during the online video chat.

For the guys that are thinking to get hired by Enpal, think twice before doing that!
You will have a course in Bosnia for two weeks, but if they don’t like you or you don’t do something right they will send you home in 2/3days. They are very unprofessional, the instructors are bad instructors, they don’t know how to explain and they are expecting you to learn everything in one day. And about transport they will do everything to get you there as fast as they can, but if they decide to send you home, you will stay on the roads for 40+hours and they won’t pay you for the days that you really tryed to learn the work and do something good! I just wanted to let know the future people that are thinking to get hired by them! Take care!
