Easy booking

We booked a rental vehicle through Enjoy Travel for Cagliari Airport, Sardinia (Booking Reference: ENJ-34628315) and paid the required deposit. Upon our arrival, we experienced a highly unprofessional and unacceptable situation with the local car rental agent.First, the local staff refused our standard, physical DKB Visa Credit Card (with chip), claiming cards from online banks were not allowed. During the dispute, the agent even claimed that Enjoy Travel had not forwarded our deposit to them. Moments later, the staff completely contradicted themselves, stating that we could take the vehicle with the exact same DKB card, but only if we agreed to pay double the original price (1,300 Euros).When we declined this extortionate demand and requested to speak with the manager, we were insulted and forced to leave the premises. As a result, we were left stranded on the street at 20:30 with our 6-year-old child without any means of transportation.**We explicitly refuse a simple cancellation or refund of our deposit. Booking a last-minute replacement vehicle on short notice here in Sardinia is extremely expensive and causes immense financial damage that we did not cause.** We demand that Enjoy Travel fulfills its contractual obligations, intervenes immediately with the local supplier to clarify the payment status, and provides us with an immediate replacement vehicle in Cagliari at the originally agreed rate. We expect a prompt solution from your escalation team.

Do NOT book through Enjoy Travel. They act as a broker, take your money, and then completely abandon you when their local suppliers scam you at the rental desk. I fully prepaid a rental at London Stansted via Enjoy Travel. When I arrived, the supplier (Europcar/Keddy) lied to my face, claimed my prepayment was "only a deposit," and forced me under severe duress to pay an additional £1,762.15 to get the car. When I contacted Enjoy Travel’s customer service, they completely refused to help. They hid behind the paperwork, claiming that because I signed the contract under pressure at the desk, it counts as a voluntary "upgrade." They ignore the fact that the signature was obtained through blatant fraud and deception by their own business partner. Enjoy Travel has zero buyer protection, and they seem to actively profit from suppliers who rob stranded tourists. If you want to lose thousands of pounds, book with them. Otherwise, stay far away!

Avoid as the customer service is poor
I had an issue on collecting the car as I did not realise the company did not accept amex for deposit. Whilst I understand that this was my issue and my oversight, I was advised by the rental company to contact EnjoyTravel.
I tried calling them (in office hours) on 6 occasions, each time being put in a queue for 5 minutes and being told no-one was available and to leave a message. I left 2 messages and to this point (5 days later) have not been contacted back. I was therefore left after an early morning and long flight unable to collect the car and with no one to contact for assistance
I'm sure they will respond stating it was my fault for not reading the agreement (which I accept) as they seem unwilling to address the issue of no-one being able to call for help despite being at 11:00 on a Friday
