I’ve just completed my NVQ Level 7 in Construction Senior Management with Endeavour Group, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the very first call, the team were organised, honest, and focused on helping me succeed around a busy site schedule and family life.

Onboarding & plan: Endeavour started with a clear skills scan and built a realistic roadmap with milestones. Instead of pushing generic guidance, they mapped the NVQ7 standards to the work I actually deliver—QA/ITPs, RAMS, FIP planning, programme and cost control, risk registers, stakeholder minutes, CQV deliverables, and change control. That “use the evidence you already have” approach saved me time and kept my portfolio authentic.

Assessor excellence – Matt was outstanding throughout. His feedback was quick, specific, and constructive—never vague. He’d say things like “tie this to risk ownership,” “add stakeholder sign-off,” or “reference commercial impact here,” which moved each submission forward. Turnarounds were fast, questions were welcomed, and every call ended with clear next steps. When something needed strengthening, Matt provided examples and simple templates so I knew exactly how to improve. He set high standards but made them achievable.

Flexible, human support: Communication was spot-on—plain English, tidy checklists, and short calls when needed. They respected live project pressures, arranged evening check-ins, and kept momentum without stress. As someone who benefits from clear structure, I really appreciated the way they broke tasks down and showed one strong example before asking for more.

E-portfolio & quality assurance: The platform was easy to use on desktop and mobile. Evidence tagging and cross-referencing were set up sensibly, so progress felt visible. Internal verification feedback mirrored Matt’s high bar, which gave me confidence the portfolio would pass first time. They also encouraged me to show leadership behaviours and commercial decision-making—not just technical outputs—exactly what Level 7 is about.

Professional discussion prep: The mock session with Matt was gold. We drilled into leadership, stakeholder management, risk, programme/commercial control, quality governance, and lessons learned. He coached me to move beyond describing tasks to explaining outcomes and decisions, which made the final discussion feel natural and well-structured.

Impact: Beyond the certificate, the process sharpened how I lead teams, manage risk, and communicate with stakeholders. It’s already strengthened my CV and opened doors for senior roles and chartership routes. Most importantly, I’ve come away with a portfolio I’m genuinely proud of.
