Since Emson Haig opened in Colchester High Street I have been a valued customer and engaged with all the team .
All the staff are very professional and knowledgeable having bought several items for myself and family.
I have always experienced a welcoming atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble and excellent customer service.

Emson Haig is the best jewellery store in Colchester. They deal with very high quality jewellery, watches , diamonds and other high end products. They have an excellent highly skilled in-house service department. Something that most other similar establishments do not have available for customers.

I have been dealing with them since they opened in Colchester. The staff are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely friendly.

As the only official Rolex approved store in Colchester, they are govern by rules for the purchasing of any Rolex watch. These rules apply to all outlets throughout the world. So although you may be lucky enough to be in a position to try and purchase that once in a lifetime watch, it does not happen that way. Roxel make these rules not the store.

Go to Bond Street in London, go to Weirs in Dublin you will get the same outcome. Having the financial ability does not guarantee a purchase. I have been lucky enough to purchase some lovely , special once off jewellery over the years. My experience with the staff has been nothing but special. Thank you!

Another bullshit Rolex dealer making you buy a load of stuff you don’t want to get on the fictional “ list “ for a stainless steel timepiece you’d like !!!spent 11k on a watch I didn’t want to be promised the one I did … after 3 years I just get ignored and obviously will never get a look in ! Honestly Rolex are a joke , I might run my business the same and see how far I get “…. Soulless pompous company

I first visited Emson Haig in July last year for a Rolex consultation. Don took the time to walk me through a range of models and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Since then, I’ve returned several times—for watches, jewellery, ring resizing, redesigns, and even battery replacements. No matter the reason, the service has always been consistently excellent.

Don’s been the main person looking after me, and he’s done a brilliant job every time. He listens, gives honest advice, and always takes the time to get things right—big or small.

I’ve visited on my own and with my family, and each time we’re welcomed with genuine warmth. My daughter’s even a fan now, partly thanks to the biscuits.

Huge thanks to Don and the Emson Haig team for making every visit a pleasure.

I dropped in here a month or so ago to see if they could help with my Tiffany watch and all the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. I went back on Friday with the watch and picked it up today. All round, a top notch experience. Hoy helped me today and Friday and he was excellent and knowledgeable. Their watchmaker is first rate and every single person there smiled and was approachable. I went in for a battery replacement, a tiny amount of business from their perspective but I was made to feel like a valued customer. Well done, all the better for being a small family run local business.

My experience with Emson Haig was quite disappointing. I had high hopes, but I was met with inconsistent communication and a lack of clarity regarding what was actually available. I found myself waiting for responses and never felt like I was getting straight answers.

For a brand of their standing, I expected a much more seamless and trustworthy process. Unfortunately, it left me feeling unsure about making a purchase with them in the future.

I’ve been really disappointed with the way Emson Haig handled my recent dealings. There was a lot of back-and-forth and uncertainty about the offers they presented, leaving me feeling unsure and questioning their business practices. At times, it felt like I was being pushed toward products that weren’t even guaranteed to be available, which came across as manipulative.

I was genuinely excited to make a purchase, but the lack of transparency and professionalism has really put me off. I expected much better, especially from a company with their reputation. I won’t be rushing back any time soon.

Visited the store about a year ago to express interest in a man's and ladies Rolex models. Received an email last week followed by a phone call from Victoria asking if I was still interested to be told they could guarantee me the ladies model by the end of the year. Popped in today just to show my face and after a lengthy general watch chat with Hoy and trying on several display models I was offered a men's Rolex that I had tried on and I subsequently purchased it. Overall a great and informative experience with none of the snobby attitude that I have experienced in other Rolex AD's.

Overwhelmed by the whole experience of buying a Rolex watch here . Huy was outstanding in the level of helpfulness , expertise and knowledge provided . The whole team at this branch demonstrate friendliness and professionalism. Would return and recommend to others . I do not believe the experience could have been bettered . Highly highly recommend choosing Emson Haig for a special purchase . You will not be disappointed . A special team of people and a special place .

Extremely rude security guards. Avoid the Colchester shop at all costs!!!

I wasn't even a customer but the security wouldn't take their eyes off me, while waiting under shelter next to the shop making me feel very uncomfortable, I approached the security guard inside the shop just to inform them that I was waiting for someone under shelter as it was raining.
They then spoke to me in a very rude manner talking down to me like a criminal, I have never been treated like this before.

Totally awful company, kept my credit note of £165, not a great amount but to me it was, as it was a gift, which I can no longer spend as they do not have anything within my price range which is no fault of mine. Failed to let customers know the Lakeside branch had closed and the excuse was it was with immediate effect but sorry they had to look up my credit note so they must have a system where they could make the customers aware

I am a customer of this high level customer service and caring shop who do there best to listen and deliver to the highest level at the most competitive prices, I do not understand that anyone would think anything different to this.

whatever i have ordered or asked for has always arrived with no extra expense to myself.
Well done to all at Emerson Haig, wish all high end retail outlets were like this.

A flawless experience from start to finish.
From the moment I entered the store, I was immersed into the epitome of luxury.
The sales ambassadors were polite helpful and knowledgeable.
The customer service was second to none.
I would not hesitate in returning in the future and they will have my custom for many years to come.

I have been shopping at Emson Haig the last few years. Buying a number of watches and other items for the wife. I keep coming back because of the professional service is second to none. The whole team are very friendly and highly trained at what they do. It can only be 5 stars for a 5 star company.

My son and I initially went to the Lakeside branch of Emson Haig, whereupon we were greeted by Lizzie.
Despite her young age , she displayed immense knowledge and maturity ,this together with a huge amount of experience and great advice , meant we were able to narrow down our search to just a couple of watches. Unfortunately she did not have one of the watches in question at that branch, at that particular time.
Lizzie took it upon herself to make us an immediate appointment at their Colchester branch whereupon Don was waiting for us upon arrival.
Once inside, Don very patiently helped once again in the same manner as Lizzie.
Both members of staff and branches liaised with myself at every stage , making the whole process an absolute pleasure and my sons 21st birthday present just that little more special………. Thank you SO much .

My wife and I have the absolute pleasure of meeting Donatas at Emson Haig in Colchester. He's extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We spent more than two hours on our first consultation there and were given plenty of time to enquire and try on various products – it was a very pleasant experience and we did not feel rushed at all. Donatas also keeps in touch with me regularly and let me know of any new products that I might be interested in – thank you!

The customer service there is second to none. We also have the pleasure of meeting Dave, Maizy, Jess and Hui and they’re all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Emson Haig in Colchester for the purchase and service of jewellery and watches – the team there is simply amazing!

I was ably assisted by Don, he was passionate, knowledgeable & nothing was too much trouble.

Don talked me through the different options & took time to explain the differences between the pieces I was looking at.

I was also introduced to other members of the team who were equally as enthusiastic & a pleasure to engage with.

Would definitely recommend and will most assuredly be heading back there in the near future.
