DO NOT BUY FROM EMMA HOPE

I have bought from Emma Hope in the past, such a reputable designer but have now just ordered on line recently and three weeks later still no sign of the shoes and no response via email, phone or Instagram. They’ve taken my money and sent me nothing. Avoid at all costs. Why have they not been shut down?! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.

It's a scam

It's a scam. Avoid buying there at all cost. We have lost 800 GBP and have never received the merchandise, did never receive a reply of anybody who was willing to refund. You must be plain stupid to buy anything from Emma Hope !

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - they take your money and don't refund it - even with proof of returns to them
I bought some shoes, took ages to arrived when they did they developed a fault - I returned for a full refund which I have not received, nor can you contact them - Absolute joke - lesson learnt

Awful customer service

Awful customer service, in that it doesn't exist. They made it impossible for me to return $800 worth of merchandise by refusing to email me back with the information I needed for an international packing slip. Infuriating and very upsetting. Avoid.

This is not Amazon.. thankfully

I had ordered online after trying the shoes in a shop where they didn't have my size. It was a big purchase for me, & after a few days I became worried as I hadn't heard anything after the confirmation. I submitted the online form to Emma hope & had multiple emails due to a warehouse move etc. I was sceptical because of other reviews, but they were great, and had my shoes couriered to a hotel so my husband could pick up.
I did have to chase a bit, but I think small operators don't have systems tracking & responding and are using real people to manage the day to day.
My experience has been really good once I got in touch. And the shoes are beautiful.

Returned in October. No refund

The company sent the wrong sized boots. I returned them and asked for a refund and they immediately sent out another pair of boots. I refused to accept the delivery. But, no sign of the refund. This was a reputable company, what is going on? Despite numerous emails, no response and no refund. You have the boots and my money.

Avoid, they have stolen my money

I bought a pair of shoes from them and they contacted me to let me know that the shoes are faulty and so offered me a refund which I accepted on 16th Sept. Since then, nothing. No refund. No responses to my emails, customer care requests or voicemails. They owe me £259 for an issue they created. And I have no idea how to get them to engage with me. I will be writing to one of the newspapers in due course to see if they can help.

Do not buy from them…

I bought a pair of hugely expensive shoes from them via their website. I sent them back as they didn’t fit. Since then I have heard nothing from them - they don’t reply to any form of contact and nor do they answer the phone. Who knows… they may respond to this, but I doubt it. I’d strongly suggest that you avoid them like the plague.

Beware buying online from Emma Hope shoes

I live in the roi and in May of this year ordered a pair of shoes from Emma Hope online. Previously I had bought shoes in store but on this occasion the store didn’t have my size. I paid €280 plus €50!post and packaging. A few emails were exchanged prior to purchase. On June 8 th I received an email from UPS to say there was approximately €160 further charge in duty and tax payable.
This charge had never been flagged and I was not willing to pay this amount. I I canceled the order and immediately requested the shoes would not go out for delivery and be returned to sender. I also sent Emma hope an email to that effect. From that day to this Emma Hope in particular Marvia who had previously written to me and who I know received back the goods ( UPS) have ignored my numerous emails and failed to engage in any way!
They have taken my money and contrary to their online policy statement have failed to give me my refund of the purchase price.
I have never been in receipt of such shabby and disrespectful treatment in any aspect of my life.. it is an extraordinary way to treat a customer.. I did look belatedly at reviews and it would appear I am not the first person to have received this type of treatment. I urge the company to please do the right thing and refund what is rightfully my money.
