I didn’t receive everything that I ordered. I wrote and did not receive a response. The pens and inks however are excellent and I am very happy with them. I had received an empty box that was supposed to have a pen in it. Unfortunately there was not one.

Good first impressions
I have only used the pen once since receiving it. The ink flows well and the nib is smooth. I prefer using converters over cartridges, but haven’t tried the converter yet.

The pens arrived in a reasonable amount of time. They are bright colors and the balance in them is perfect. I chose the fine nib and love how it writes. I have bought several Ellington pens and gave them as gifts. They write beautifully.

Lovely pen disappointing performance
A lovely looking pen but sadly I like a wider nib and they don't do one for this pen. Also I have had it for 1 year and 3 months and the gold is wearing off the part which you hold when writing. It started wearing last year but by the time I contacted them it was out of warranty, fair enough. However for an expensive pen I wouldn't have expected any wear so soon, I use it regularly but not to a great extent. Also the nib is still scratchy, they did get back to me quickly and sent a link for nib tuning, and 25% off a new one, but it's just not what I would expect, my 25 year old Parker is still great after all these years. So my advice is buy a Parker it will last a lot longer.

Ellington Pens has been fabulous in every way. The quality, selection and affordability of their pens is great. I love fountain pens and love using my Ellington Pens' - I have the Midnight Rose and Alpine Rose Fountain Pens and they write beautifully and they make writing and journaling so much fun! I had queries before and after my purchase and the customer service has been outstanding! They answer all of my questions right away, sorted out my quirky requests, and offered generous solutions to my issues - not that there were any issues with the pens - just my inability to choose! Constant contact and reassurance
There was constant contact after I had paid until the day I received the pen which was very reassuring. And after I received the pen there was checking that everything was OK. As it is the pen is beautiful and I am very pleased all round. Quality without having to fork out silly money.
