I agree with every negative comment…
I agree with every negative comment I’ve read here about elite singles. I have come to think the site itself sends fake profiles just to get you to reup. Then the profiles disappear! The matches mostly do not fit my asks. Nothing but mostly bad news.
They are so “sorry” to hear these reviews! They have a choice! Ugh
But I’ve had subscription for 6 months!
I quit

All of the Negative Reviews Here Are Correct
I signed up with Elite Singles after reading an article where the author indicated there is a three-day cancellation window. After two days of having a free membership, I began to receive alot of interest, so I signed up for their premium membership. Within 24 hours I cancelled.
Reasons for cancelling: (1.) I could not get push notifications (android phone). The only notifications offered were email. (2.) The app no longer showed the person who was messaging me. I would get the email that someone reached out, however when I opened the app, no messages were there. (3.) The app finds matches for you, you can't search the app for matches. (4.) Of course, the matches were outside of my preferences.
**heavy sigh** Avoid. This service is completely bogus. I am waiting on my refund.

Don't bother. Nothing is elite with elite
Saw a recommendation of the app/website by a YT poster that reviewed all of the top dating sites. Elite is suppose to mean the people have degrees and advanced degrees, are white collar professionals, etc. I spent a lot of time answering their questions to flesh out the profile and made a couple of edits. Signed up for a six month membership. A day later I get email my fee was canceled and the website did not work. This was June 22, 2024. So I assume the company is busted?

Why is the minimum contact area 50…
Why is the minimum contact area 50 miles. Why would I travel that for the first date? Most of my matches are least 100 miles away. The limit should be reduced- totally ridiculous to potentially start a relationship with someone living 4 hours away!!

No photo, no responses?
I have had many men “matched” with my profile so that is good, but so many of them are unattractive that it doesn’t really help in finding a suitable partner. Also, a lot of them don’t put up a photo of themselves. So I message them to do that, with almost zero response. And mostly no answer to my request for a photo. I’ve had responses from maybe 2 men out of nearly 50 “matches.” Not a good ratio. Please *require” people to put a photo on their profile. As you do for a name and a location.
So many scammers on Elitesingles
So many scammers on Elitesingles. It's almost like the folks who run the dating app do NOT expect you to find a match. In just one month, I got messages that they were checking up on the accuracy of my matches. Elitesingles claim to match educated professional clients but that is far from the truth. If you have a complaint there is no number to call, no email to write to. You just fill out a 'contact form' and get a canned response. The company's office is in Germany!

No form to contact support + poor communication
No form to contact support + poor communication:
I'm am a user of the French version. While I may have found less scammer profiles than others here, the lack of interesting profiles is real.
I took a 6 months subs last December and forgot about the auto-renew. European and French laws protects us from companies that do not send the proper communication ahead of the renewal.
In EliteSingles' (EliteRencontres in French) case, you will not get any email to warn you of the automatic renewal ever.
On top of it, when you go on their support website, their are pointing to a form that doesn't exist at all, which leaves you after searching for a while, with only an email address you are not even sure they are monitoring.
It happens to all of us to miss to deactivate an auto-renewal, hence the law asking the provider to send emails ahead of this renewal. I hope Spark Networks team will have the understanding I've seen in the past with other companies when forgetting to deactivate an auto-renew.

Payed for the 6-th month subscription and can’t log in.

It’s total scam, don’t buy subscription

You are basically paying a subscription to connect with scammers.
On the positive side, the app does send alert messages when you were contacted by fake profiles.
On a negative side, 99% of my connections were fake profiles. Which makes me believe most of the profiles posted on this dating app are fake. You are basically paying a subscription to connect with scammers. They are quick to ask for your phone number to connect outside the dating app. Do not recommend this app.

New to the dating scene after divorce.
Downloaded Elite Singles & had one or two very brief interactions but didnt get a chance to thoroughly go through site or interact as used it maybe 1-3 times in a month or so period.
Tried logging in today & it wouldnt let me.
Tried refreshing, desktop site etc and still nothing.
Contacted customer support and they came back with the statement Id been blocked for “inconsistencies” that they never explained nor even bothered replying too when inquired.
They asked for photo ID front & back & a full face photo with it.
This rang alarm bells because thats not a normal request especially how it was phrased.
Appears it might be a scam all while theyve happily taken my subscription money & seem to be basically ignoring my emails.

A scam site
The last time I did online dating was around fifteen years ago. I've been divorced for four years and I am looking for a high-value woman. I have two graduate degrees and I am a former Peace Corps volunteer and consider myself a high-value man as well. For some reason, Elite Singles flagged my profile even though I completed everything on the site and included three recent photos of myself. The only way I can be reinstated is to submit my driver's license to them to prove my identity. To me, this seems like they are trying to steal my identity. Also, they refuse to delete my profile because I won't participate in handing over my identity info to them in an online environment. Does this seem like a scam to you too?

Don't waste your money, poor service
I used Elite singles for more than a year. I put a lot of work into writing an accurate and useful profile. However the responses that I got were obviously not good matches. Many of them were complete scammers living in distant cities inviting me to invest in cryptocurrency or send money. Despite this I did meet a few people amongst all the dishonesty. The problem arose when I was out of the country for a month and could not log in to the elite singles.com website. When I got home I contacted them and they told me that first of all I had to send them a picture of me holding my passport close to my face. I felt very uncomfortable doing this but I did it nonetheless. Then they told me that my account had been hacked by someone else and I could not access it and they blocked my account without any communication to me. They then said that my only option was to start a whole new profile and register from scratch. I told them I wanted to cancel and get a refund for the 5 months that I was not able to use their service. They simply sloughed me off to Google Play and were no help whatsoever. Whether my account really was hacked is a big mystery. They certainly gave me no indication to prove that this was the case. Looking back at my time it was a big waste of both time and money and I cannot recommend Elite singles.com. there is too much dishonesty and very poor support. Everything was sent to me via email after a several day waiting period.

Wow, what a joke, I think this company is run by a bunch of clowns!

Same old, same old
I wasn't very happy with Elite Singles, primarily because I set a distance limit and continually received "matches" from people who lived much farther away. I also noted that they apparently have an algorithm that shuts down "matches" if I didn't respond to any of them. I'm very busy and I noticed after a month or so that I was no longer receiving "matches." Online dating really doesn't work for me. I've tried other services and my experience has been the same - lots of promises that didn't materialize. I know people who have found their soul mate on online dating sites, but it hasn't worked for me.

This is a pure scam
This is a pure scam. They try to charge you a one-off fee for 12 months of over 2,000 NOK before you can even try the service. And you have to go through an extremely long vetting process of personality tests before you can even see how many users are on the platform. Its extremely expensive and an obvious rip-off that can´t compete with Tinder

over 75 fake profiles
over 75 fake profiles - via "warning" messages sent to me...customer service was a joke and NOT ONE date nor any real live phone calls
Mostly they need to out themselves and get off the web - what a joke
Or improve their vetting system as most "people" in interacted with were AI bots or spammers or scammers
WORST DATING WEBSITE EVER
