Air con needed regasing done straight away very good service thanks

I had a deflating tyre fixed at the Stroud branch. All good except they didn't ask me what pressure I wanted and did not tell me I should reset the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. When I checked, the fixed tyre was at 3.0 Bar and tyre on the other side was at 2.35 Bar.

MOT was done on time and the car was given the all clear

I took my car wuth safety concerns over having difficulty getting it into any gear. This was intermittent. The garage charged £375 for changing the oil and filter , replacing a sump plug putting in antifreeze putting in a fuel cleaner and a degrease coolant flush. It did seem overly expensive but the actual issue was not addressed correctly. The car was undriveable after two hours or so going west. I had the RAC eventually to tow the vehicle after their engineer assessed it needed a master clutch cylinder which takes an hour or so to replace. They wanted to charge 285 but couldn't fix it without a garage ramp so it was towed to a garage in Midhurst. Midhurst garage said there was nothing wrong with the cylinder function the whole problem wS caused through old brake and clutch fluid which was milky. They charged £10 for the fluid. £155 for labour. With VAT. I have since driven the car and it runs fine and the gears are fine. Walmer said they'd checked the tyres and done all checks but the offside front tyre is showing a warning sensor. I think if I am brutally honest they charged a lot for doing effectively nothing regarding the real issue and I was just fortunate that when the gears failed I was off the motorways. They did change the oil etc as in a service. So maybe it's not a good garage for resolving issues.

Told them I had to be on the road asap.
Tyre repaired in 30 mins.

I had my car MOT’ed and it failed for one of the indicators being too red, the said indicator was supplied as a genuine part directly by BMW and was passed by the same tester in Walmer the year before. I was really lucky though as they could get me the correct indicator the next day for over £300 !!! I took it straight to a more honest tester and it passed straight away not even a minor as it has since. Dishonest cowboys

Whilst on holiday in Dorset we had a flat tyre. Having made a temporary repair a new tyre was needed asap. Having looked at all the tyre companies in the Bridport area Elite Garages were the only company to offer next day tyre service. Arranged on-line for a new tyre and visit to Elite Garages next day, staff were friendly and very helpful. A new tyre was fitted immediately. Great price, service, thanks.

I drove down on Saturday to enquire about the cost of an air-conditioning regas. The staff were really friendly and helpful and quoted me £58. They said they could fit me in there and then, so I left the car with them. I was also told that if there were any leaks and they couldn’t complete the regas, I wouldn’t be charged, which I appreciated.

When I returned to collect the car about an hour later, however, I was told the actual charge was £88. The member of staff apologised and explained that they had quoted me the wrong price.

While I appreciate that mistakes happen and the staff were otherwise great, I do feel the original £58 price should have been honoured, particularly as I agreed to leave the car with them based on that quote and it was in line with prices I had seen elsewhere. A £30 increase without being told before the work was carried out was disappointing.

Needed 4 tyres for mot,got quickly and fitted next day along with tracking done.
