I took a two week to Lagos. While I installed am app called OPay the appeared to be working with an inside man as he could see my screen he said the call was about increasing my limit. He ended up stealing about 10 ukp. Too me they are part of the scam. And should be removed from the net

Do not use
Do not use! They have charged me the incorrect fees for 4 months. Despite me calling them several times and raising an official complaint they still haven’t given me a refund despite admitting in writing they are overcharging! As a small independent business being over charged over and over again impacts us. Trying to get hold of their complaints team is a joke, been on hold for 30 minutes and no one’s answered. I’ve emailed and no reply. Disgusting service for a customer who’s been with you for 4 years.

Appalling experience with this company
Appalling experience with this company. After signing up, we were persuaded to use a new integration with our website for customer subscriptions. The documentation was terrible. I suspect it hadn't been properly tested. Once live we started getting extra, totally unexplained, fees charged on some transactions. After seeking an explanation, we were eventually told it was penalties from Mastercard because not enough security checking was being carried out. However, the penalty was an EU one - we are a UK company and all our customers are UK based. Later new documentation arrived, we changed the implementation, and our account showed those checks having been passed for each transaction. Still we got the penalties, all simply passed on, with no explanation. Several hundred pounds a month.
Talking to Elavon we got passed from pillar to post, one department blaming the other. In fact I was told at one point they were two separate companies, the old Sage transaction processor and EMS. So no explanation came, ever. After a year gave up and swapped over to Stripe. Implementation took a day, communication is straightforward, fees comparable. And it works!
Now we are being pursued for a small sum. I think because it was so difficult to cancel the contract they kept it running. I submitted a complaint but they repeated the same line as before. Even then, no interest in what was going wrong. Also the moment we cancelled access to our account was blocked, so no way of checking or accessing past data.
Basically, if you are small or medium sized company, don't even think of using them. We have been delighted with Stripe - completely different experience.
