A cancellation with no money back yet is frustrating, especially when you’re waiting for the refund to show. If the cancellation was confirmed, the credit normally goes back to the original card, and the bank can still take a few business days to post it. If the booking was outside the free-cancellation window or marked non-refundable, the booking conditions may not allow a return. Without a booking number, we can’t check the status properly here. If you send your reservation number and cancellation confirmation to community@bookinggroup.com, the team can look into it.

If the payment step never completed, the reservation may not have been confirmed yet — the confirmation email and number are what make it live. The call should still have been clearer than that. If you want the case checked, our support team via the Help Center on the website can review the booking number and the device/browser you used.

Prices changed. I accidently logged off site and withing 5 minutes the prices went up approximately $50 and the insurance went up $7.00.

Once the reservation is confirmed, that booked total is the one that should stand. If you still have the earlier screen and the final confirmation, comparing the two usually shows exactly where the change happened.
