Bought a pair of men’s lace up shoes a couple of years ago and the soles have disintegrated beyond repair, wore them a few weeks at a time. Took them out the cupboard yesterday and walked about half a... See more

Overpriced questionable quality men’s shoes.
What really makes me sad is the constant marketing emails, twice a day isn’t unusual.
Topped off with still trading in a market place that most respectable companies have suspended all activity.
Never Again Will I Purchase
Never Again. I use to love Ecco shoes but I bought online a pair of boots and when they came the sizing was way too small even though I have others of theirs in the same size. Returned via Royal Mail that I paid £8.07 because they only use EVRI and it took ages for them to arrive via EVRI. Since I have now been out £160 for over 2 weeks. Called the local Birmingham contact and they said has to ship to Poland and be processed!!! Even though it was sent and received in Birmingham they can't process the credit! Terrible Service and I am out monies that I would like to use before the holidays!
Shockingly bad service from Ecco
I bought boots which were delivered on 28 October. They were too small, but they did not come with a return label, so I went online, followed the instructions, booked a pick up with Evri for 29 October and Evri duly picked up the goods. A week or so later I chased Ecco for a refund and they claimed (in poor English) that I had not used a return label and had not returned them. I had to contact them multiple times but even when I showed them Evri’s email confirming they had delivered the boots back to Ecco, they claimed not to have received them. I even had to complete a legal form saying I had returned them! I have bought Ecco shoes for years but will NEVER do so again, the customer service is dire. The whole experience was a nightmare. Avoid.
19 day old shoes disintegration
I bought some little shoes for my toddler. After 29 days they wore away. Advised by customer service this was not within their complaints policy, tried to suggest I exposed them to chemicals or heat. 19 days! Unbelievably poor quality and even poorer customer service. Shocking! Avoid!
No exchange/very slow to refund
Ordered a size 7 which were too small. Wanted to replace with a size 8. Process is you have to return one pair for credit and buy the replacement. Refund still not received after 2 weeks even though they have confirmed receipt of the return. Will never use them again

Extremely disappointed with with the shoes, almost brand new, no receipt, ( gift) broke for no reasons.
I used the claim provided link, no one contacted me as the link is fake, emails not monitored.
So disappointed
Appalling service
Appalling service. Ordered online October 6th, item was in stock, had to chase them October 20th as no sign of item. When I finally got through on the phone (they completely ignore emails) I was told it was being shipped from Poland and would take 15 working days...15 working days????...in 2022???...are they sending it by horse and cart.
I also went into their store in Edinburgh twice during this period, both times they couldn't help because their 'system was down".....jeez....avoid
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service, i had a pair of Ecco Biom's that split through the leather after 6 months and they said they don't offer any guarantees! never again!
They just do not last.
The soles just disintegrate after a few years. Built in obsolescence? Just thrown three pairs in the dustbin with disintegrating soles. The company blames this on hydrolysis - water reacting with the soles. Imagine that shoe soles that should not get wet!
Never again
Never again. Worst rubbish ever. And stay out of russia by the way...
Appalling customer service
Purchased a pair of sandals at a cost of £104, very soon after buying them buckle snapped!
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue it seems customer service team don’t want to help and keep fobbing me off. Sandals are unwearable.
NEVER NEVER EVER buy Ecco shoes. Complete waste of money with no after sales customer service!!
Ecco shoes are rubbish
Ecco shoes are rubbish, Like so many other people I’ve had a problem with the heels disinter grating. The company knows full well about this problem but does nothing about it. Complaining is a waste of time, All they do is fob you off. If you want reliable shoes don’t buy this product unless you like walking around with your shoes falling to pieces.
Poor Customer Service
The soles of my Ecco shoes began to disintegrate. I contacted Ecco customer services on FB messenger who gave me a number to call. I called the number and was given an email address to contact.
Neither customer service advisor asked me any questions about my shoes, they both seemed not interested in my complaint.
If you are looking for a shoe manufacturer with good customer service then maybe Ecco isn't the brand for you.
Avoid
Avoid, if you want your footwear to last! Three Funerals, a wedding, and Sole-Rot trashed my expensive black leather shoes.
Like others here I had a pair of Ecco…
Like others here I had a pair of Ecco golf shoes as a present last year, no doubt they weren't cheap, only used in summer and after a few rounds they began to split.
I attempted self repair a few times and now they are in the bin. On closer inspection not only had both shoes split all the way around the plastic soles had large splits also.
Email twice with pics and messaged through website and still no response, even speaking to customer services didn't resolve anything as they said they don't give feedback.
I wasn't claiming anything from them just to make them aware how bad their shoes are and like others will steer well clear of Ecco in the future.
After 40 years of golf, IMHO Footjoys can't be beaten.

A warning to anyone considering Ecco golf shoes.
I have a pair of Bioms that cost £160+.
Lovely looking, Yak leather. Unfortunately, the sole has started to split and break up. Always looked after them, expected them to last years, always avoided wet conditions, cleaned and protected the leather. Ecco just dont want to know, so I would never buy again.
Non-existant customer service
My order took two weeks to arrive. The shoes were too big so I returned them the next day, which was 6 July. Today 1 August and I'm still waiting for the refund. They say that I have to wait 16 working days before they will refund my money. As Ecco ignores all my emails, I have twice spoken to 'customer services' and they are now sending me a 'legal' document for me to complete. Be warned: Ecco's on line sales operation is a complete and total farce. If you do need to return a purchase, they will hang on to your money for as long as they possibly can. Never again.
What on earth has happened to ECCO?
What on earth has happened to ECCO?
After purchasing many of my shoes from Ecco for over 20 years, I am sad to say that I will never do business with them again.
From ordering a pair of sandals on 29th May 2022 to returning them to-date, 19th July 2022, nearly two months since, I have still to receive a refund for their faulty goods.
Not only did they actually draw blood on my both my feet within 10 minutes of wearing them, the evidence of which can still be seen, they have failed to inspect them and provide me with the full refund I am entitled to. And, I dare say that by the time they do, summer will be long over with and the money I could have spent on buying a decent pair of sandals will now not be used for that purpose.
It is both personally disappointing, as Ecco's shoes are not cheap by the quality was (once-upon-a-time) worth it, and it's absolutely dreadful business practice to boot.
Sorry Ecco, you have lost a long standing customer and if I fail to obtain the full refund I am entitled to shortly i.e. by the end of the week, it will go to Trading Standards, along with the many others I can see on here.
My Ecco order was mysteriously delayed…
My Ecco order was mysteriously delayed by a week from what they had said estimated delivery date was-when i got my order,it was someone elses-apparently my shoes had been sent to this person-the person at customer service airily explained this and said I needed to print a label, and take it to the usp store-I have neither a printer nor a car and became quite irritated-I guess the other person, who recieved my shoes, complied and returned mine-on top of that one is required to start a new order process-I said I would not be doing that-they never sent me the email label, they did refund the price of shoes but kept the shipping fe-so I paid 11 bucks for nothing-well.maybe not nothing,as I feel like just keeping the wrong shoes and giving them to someone-
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing someone else's shoes…
I wish I had read the reviews before buying from Ecco Shoes. After waiting quite a while for my shoes to arrive, I opened the parcel and found - someone else's shoes! The label on the outside of the parcel is addressed to me and has my order number. The paperwork inside is for someone who lives about 50 miles away. I sent an email and was told I would have a response within 6-8 days. There is no phone number listed anywhere and they seem to have hibernated their Twitter account as posts are old and you cannot reply to them. The company is clearly having problems. As a last resort I am going to have to drive some distance to the nearest shop to return these shoes and get a refund. This is incredibly inconvenient. Also the poor person who ordered the shoes I have is in the same boat but looking at their address is nowhere near a store. So disappointing.
