Avoid at all costs
Rude reception staff on every occasion. No clear pricing, you will never have a clue how much you’ve paid for what. The last straw for me was my last dog’s annual vaccination visit, I always tell the vet that my dog obviously doesn’t enjoy the vets visit and you have to take your time giving him his jabs but he just went straight ahead. Put the needle in so rough it came out the other side of his scruff, I could’ve cried! no apology. Just blamed it on the dog, absolutely disgusting. I have moved all three of my dogs to a new vet but unfortunately one of them now has to be sedated with tablets for every visit thanks to his past experiences. if you love your pets stay clear of this hell hole.
Awful experience
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share this experience.
My 12-year-old dog (with a known heart condition) underwent a dental procedure at Easipetcare Dartford. What followed was a series of issues that I believe raise serious concerns about clinical care and communication.
Her procedure was initially cancelled due to a booking error. On another occasion, she was admitted at 8am, prepped for surgery, and then sent home at 4pm because there was no longer time to proceed.
When the procedure finally went ahead, pre-operative bloods had already shown signs of infection. Antibiotics were prescribed after surgery, yet they were not dispensed to me due to what the practice later described as a “human error.” At her follow-up appointment, it was assumed she was already receiving these antibiotics when she was not.
I was also not informed at the time that her blood pressure had dropped significantly during the procedure. This was only disclosed later in the written complaint response.
Shortly after, my dog became acutely unwell — she collapsed, could not stand, and would not eat or drink. Repeat blood tests showed the infection was still present and there were new kidney abnormalities that had not been identified previously.
The practice has acknowledged that the antibiotics were not dispensed and that errors occurred in the discharge process. While they later offered repeat blood tests and antibiotics as a “goodwill gesture,” this does not reflect the reality of the situation. These were not optional extras, but necessary follow-up care after the original treatment plan was not carried out correctly.
Although my dog is now recovering after finally receiving the appropriate treatment, the overall handling of her care — including missed medication, lack of communication, and multiple points of failure — has significantly impacted my trust.
The concern here is not a single isolated mistake, but a series of breakdowns in care and processes.
I would strongly encourage other pet owners to carefully check discharge medications and ask detailed questions before leaving the practice.
Been waiting for a call back from vet…
Been waiting for a call back from vet in regards to my cats blood results.Been waiting nearly 3 weeks.Have contacted vets twice and was told vet would ring me back later that day. After finding out they had taken my contact number down incorrectly ive had no replies since.Cat seems fine but would like to know this after paying £281.00 for blood test, general examination and one worming pill.Very poor service.Wont be using again.
A Very Happy Customer
I was disappointed to see the one star reviews that have been left for Easipetcare Dartford as I have been using them now for over six years and (apart from the occasional grumpy locum) I have always received friendly, courteous, professional and importantly - being a pensioner - cost effective service.
They have always treated my dog (and me!) with care and consideration and both regular and one off visits have always been a pleasure.
I have used several different veterinary surgeries locally over the past 40 years and Easipetcare Dartford have IMHO been the best by far.

Went to vets regarding my dogs teeth vet did not seem particularly interested examined my dog told me she had dislocated hip not true.
Told me needed to have blood test very expensive but was not told why. Gave me antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication did not know what for.
Then advise me to speak to receptionist regarding booking dog in for scale and polish.
The receptionist advised me half price for scale and polish so I booked the dog in. But no costs explained to me then on the day before she was due to go in for treatment received an invoice for £1200.00. Absolutely outrageous just to have scale and polish. I called the vets not very happy and the receptionist advised me the vet would call me back. I have sent 2 complaint emails (No response from vet No call back) seems this practice is only interested in money
Used to be a good vets and low cost
Used to be a good vets and low cost , but not now , prices are too expensive, including consultation fee and any medication, we’ve moved to another vet ,, why when you’ve had a consultation of £61 and they’ve diagnosed the problem, you shouldn’t have to pay same fee for a follow up appointment, just to check your pet is doing ok , but no it’s £61 every time you go back for the vet to look at your pet for 2 mins ,,, too expensive we’ve gone elsewhere , we don’t pay another consultation fee , every time , anymore, only pay for meds if needed ,,,, shame but there just too expensive now
0% guarantee
I discourage to everyone to spay her pet at this clinic, it gives 0% of guarantee if anything goes wrong because they have to close at 7.00 pm according to their procedure.
At the end of July, I left my dog in the early morning to spay her, and of course they charged me the price before I left the clinic, (£370 for a small dog). When I pick up here the surgery was fine (around 6pm). Before arriving at home, the stiches came up and my poor dog started to bleed badly, when I called them and explain the issue (around 6.30pm) the answer of the clinic was exactly that, they close at 7.00, go to a 24h vet, end of the story.
Obviously, I went to a 24h clinic, she had to spend the night there so the emergency vet could check her properly. Fortunately, she checked very well and did the stiches again. The bill was £730.
I was even more shocked not receiving a single call, email or SMS from easipet to see how my dog was, despite they knew that something wrong happened.
The formal answer for their part when we raised the problem was that they acted according to their procedure, so if you are a customer, be aware about their procedure before it is too late. It cost me more than one thousand pounds and a terrible day.
I tell everyone that I know to avoid this vet for the above reason, 0% guarantee and 0% interest on your pet.
Save your money and do not go there
Save your money and do not go to Easipetcare in Dartford!
Although the receptionists were lovely and friendly, the vets lacked professionalism and did not handle our case well. Our cat hadn't eaten for five days after a severe episode of vomiting. They did an X-ray and suggested either continuing with liquids to help his stomach or going straight to surgery as they “suspected” something in his stomach, which could be gas, a foreign object (which needs to be removed), or simply faeces but no concrete answer.
When we asked if they had done blood tests, they said no. We inquired if an ultrasound was a possibility before surgery and then they confirmed they could do one. Why didn't the doctors present us with different options before suggesting surgery? Eventually, they did the blood tests and informed us that some results were concerning. They advised monitoring him overnight at home as they don’t offer overnight stay so we had to collect him in the evening in poor condition, monitor him overnight ourselves and bring him back in the morning when they open to continue the case, most likely going straight to surgery. The bill came up to £1,500 by then and we still didn’t have an answer for what could be the issue, it was all maybe(s) and perhaps.
After another sleepless night and our cat’s declining health, we called the vet at 8 am to schedule the surgery, thinking it was our only option. Easipetcare said there were no slots available for surgeries and referred us to a pet hospital instead. At the pet hospital, the doctor examined him and determined that surgery was not necessary at this point as they suspected an infection and inflammation based on his blood test results and high temperature which was naturally affecting other organs, including the stomach. They recommended doing a localized ultrasound first and keeping him overnight for monitoring, drips, and antibiotics. The ultrasound determined pancreatitis and our cat was treated accordingly.
A few hours later, he was already better—eating, drinking, and using the bathroom.
Thinking we were about to go into surgery with Easipetcare and being charged a hefty sum for it to be in vain makes my blood boil. We will now be registering our cats in a different practice and we hope our story serves a purpose and doesn’t happen again to pet parents
They are cheaper but they are not- yes…
They say They are cheaper but they are not- my consultation now is more expensive than other vets, two year ago they were cheaper but have since really increased the prices, also they over charge the prescription costs. It cost me £65 for 21 tablets of Apoquel, yes they are expensive but i can get them online for under a £1 a tablet, which would have just cost £21, so you can clearly see the difference in price hike, a whole box of 100 would have cost £90 such a rip off! Will be looking at other vets
Please avoid this place
Please avoid this place! Don’t be fooled by their advertising as being a low cost vet service! Took my very poorly 14 year old cat to be checked as she was drooling a lot and not cleaning herself as normal. I thought she may have a bad tooth or abscess. I walked into the consultation room room and retrieved her from her pet carrier and the vet said: “eeeeeewwwww - wait let me put some gloves on”. I was mortified at his reaction to my clearly very unwell cat. I found his reaction most insensitive and unprofessional. I was then told that he could definitely feel a lump in her lower jaw and that it was probably a tumour as he could also see the lump protruding under her tongue and that her jaw was broken!he said it’s likely the tumour has grown and pushed her jaw out. He said I could get an X-ray done to see what’s happening with the jaw but that costs £700 and biopsies cost a lot more. I asked him what his opinion was and what he thinks I should do because at this point I was really upset and wasn’t thinking straight from the shocking news and he said it’s totally up to me but given her age it may be that I spend all that money for X-rays and biopsies and still there’s no guarantee at the end of that. He said I could put her to sleep or give her palliative care by giving her pain relief medication. He gave her an injection for the pain and 3ml’s pain relief liquid to take home with me and said I need to decide what I want to do within 24 to 48 hours. I emailed the vets and said that I would like to go with the palliative care option and please could I have a prescription to buy more pain medication - specifying I wanted just the prescription. They then told me it was ready to collect (by this time my cat had run out of medication). When I went to collect they handed me a 15ml bottle and asked for £48. I said no I asked for the prescription as I can buy it online for £12.80. They told me that it was my fault as I hadn’t said the words ‘written prescription’ in my request even though I stated my intention was to buy it online. They told me I would have to wait up to 72 hours for this prescription to be ready. They did not care that my cat was out of pain medication and seemed annoyed that I wasn’t prepared to hand over 4 times the amount of money. I left and emailed them a complaint about this. They emailed me back saying that I did not get back to them about my decision and took no responsibility for anything. My ex partner who I have not been with for 4 years then called me and said the vets had called him saying that my cat only has a dislocated jaw and needs an X-ray and that they have decided not to prescribe the pain meds until I bring my cat in for a follow up appointment. The vet saw my cat a week ago so why would she need a follow up so soon? So not only had they not been reading or replying to my emails but contacted a third party and disclosed my private information telling him a completely different story than what they told me about her condition. So they clearly wanted more money out of me by expecting me to pay another £50 consultation fee, a £700 x-ray (which was apparently my decision to make a week ago). So even though the pain meds had already been authorised previously they took that option away from me and used it against me to try get more money out of me. These people don’t care about helping sick animals they want the money!!!! I’m taking my cat to another vet for a second opinion as I don’t trust these people. I will never return to them ever again! Unprofessional, insensitive, rude and unethical! There should be an option on here for none or negative stars!
rip-off
visited easipetcare dartford on the 19th June2023 with my dog who had a grass seen in her ear, the vet said she would have to be sedated.
He told me this would cost £500, When i returned to pick up my dog the bill had gone up to £833 they are a total rip-off

Dartford
Dartford - molly. My mum and dad brought our King Charles in on bank holiday and from the minute they walked in through the door, the staff were amazing! They knew to expect them and it was an emergency. They done everything they could to make our girl as comfortable as possible with a sheep like blanket whilst waiting for the vet, in her last moments, so she wasn’t just on the hard cold table. I can not tell you how grateful me and my parents are to the kind staff and vet during this difficult time. This has made our grieving somewhat easier knowing she was comfortable and content in the best hands. We are truly grateful x
Great customer service
My kitten always has a lovely experience at the vets and is relaxed and content. The nurse explained everything and answered all my questions. We are very happy with the service so far.
Please avoid that Vet!!!
Please avoid that Vet!!!! We booked a first kitten package. Very disappointed!!! The reception staff are helpless and rude. The Nurse just did a vaccine and microchip in two minutes (very professionally! Only one good point) but didn’t ask any question and no any explanation. Was it a health check we paid for? We need to come back in three weeks time for the second dose, and I am thinking to choose another vet. Never come back to them!

Took my puppy to Dartford clinic for…
Took my puppy to Dartford clinic for his vaccinations and was greeted by an extremely rude and abrupt vet. He was extremely harsh and rough with my tiny pup and had no form of sympathy for my puppy as he was whining as was in pain. No real love shown for the job at all. Did not give me any information regarding how long before pup can go out or any side effects that may come. Horrible experience for first time dog owner and my poor puppy. Will never use again.
Awful conveyor belt place
Awful conveyor belt place, I suppose pay cheap get poor quality
Won’t be returning
Have been with Easipet Dartford for many years with my three cats (since they were kittens). Tried to book booster vaccinations for them in December but was told there was a shortage as the factory making the vaccine had burned down, and that I was to wait and would be contacted. One of my cats is on their pet care plan. My dilemma is that a licensed cattery cannot take cats unless vaccinations are up to date and I have a holiday booked for April. Called for an update this week and was basically told to search for other vets as Easipet was prioritising kittens - even if they did have vaccine in stock - now leaving me high and dry. Two Other vets I called (obviously with the same problem of no vaccine) were not even taking on new customers.
As luck would have I contacted another Dartford Vet by Princes road whose receptionist went over and above on customer service and reviewed my cat records and got them booked in. I highly recommend you use these people too. Loyalty of customers obviously means nothing to easipet.
