DriverFix - a Sound purchase!!
I have had my Hewlett Packard PC for some considerable time now and am a keen amateur musician of some years standing.
Some while ago however, to my dismay, all audio output failed on my somewhat venerable PC!
Thanks to DriverFix, (and the best £15.95 I have spent recently!) I have just been able to listen again to that lovely artist Carole King - Hallelujah!

I did not get my license number. With an email attached to receipt, it only took a few minutes to get the number.

Driverfix is essentially superfluous
Driverfix is essentially superfluous, and I would strongly advise anyone against signing up. In my opinion it borders on malware. Microsoft will update the drivers that you need, and Intel offers a similar free and reliable service. When I checked with Driverfix there were apparently 25 drivers that needed updating. Most of the Intel drivers offered were in fact downgrades of the more recent drivers that were already installed (as advised by the warning messages from Intel when Driverfix attempted to install them). Most of the others could not be installed through the Driverfix interface, requiring manual installation which is beyond the safe capabilities of most users. And on closer inspection, most of these were not needed for my computer's functionality. Presumably they were being pushed because of the commercial deals that Driverfix had done with the 3rd parties. So in short this is at best a complete waste of your money, and at worst risks harming your computer's smooth functioning (as was the case for me, with an inferior audio driver being installed which no longer plugged and played with my monitor). Their diagnostics are worthless, and clearly designed to hook people into paying a subscription, believing that they have a problem (which they may not have), which Driverfix can fix, which it clearly cannot. For these reasons I would characterize this as malware.

I had excellent customer service on a chat with Oliver. I was having a difficult time locating where to enter my license key. He walked me through the process and was very patient.
The driverfix was able to repair a passport where I had all our family photos stored. I am very pleased and grateful. Also very affordable.

I did not receive an activation key …
I did not receive an activation key and I sent an email to support, who acknowledged my request but they never delivered an activation key. So todat I sent them another email pointing out the absence of my activation key and as I finished my email I noted a "click Here" button on your web site. I chatted with Oliver who was able to supply my missing key and it worked first time. thus the problem was promptly settled.
