The £39 price listed on the site "Let us do the hard work for you. We've scouted the internet to find the prices of a standard drain unblock" is for blocked sinks apparently; it cost me £132 on the day for a poorly flushing toilet (with the lads lifting the outside drain and flushing) that still isn't draining properly. I wasn't made aware of any additional costs - going off the " On average, all of our drain unblocks come at a cost of just £39.00 unless there is additional, unforseen, work to carry out (but we will discuss this with you)" They didn't discuss additional works - then said they weren't leaving the property until payment was made. Stars given as they did turn up and they did in some part clear the drain.

Great company. Friendly knowledgeable staff. They were late arriving but had been caught in emergency and rang to let me know. Carried out work cleanly and efficiently. Would highly recommend

Very defensive, unhelpful, disregard for customer view and feedback. I needed to unblock a blocked toilet and identify the cause for the blockage and give me a quote to fix it. The plumber George sent spent 5 minutes in the property, took a couple of pictures of the discoloured toilet, and told me I should change the toilet because the blockage was due to build up. I wasn’t happy with the finding. I complained to George, also let him know that the toilet was only installed two years ago. he defended the Plumer. 4 weeks later the problem re-occurred. When I contacted George for a refund or do a proper job, his response was to ask me to pay him again to do a better assessment. I wasn’t happy, I hired a different company, they charged less, did a thorough assessment, identified the cause and gave me a quote to fix it. George again instead of refund or apology suggested I pay him to go and fix the problem he said I didn’t pay him enough to identify.
George charged a lot and offered poor quality service, remain unaccountable, I didn’t get a decent report of the Plumers visit, even after I shared the report from the company that finally resolved the issues. He showed no concern for the inconveniences we suffered, living with blocked toilet for weeks. I will never hire him again or recommend his company to anyone. Very unpleasant encounter. Bathroom pipes became blocked causing shower, bath and toilet to backfill, water only draining away at a trickle. After four visits by a big name drains service company failed to clear the blockage I called Drains Unblocked 247 in desperation. George was local and offered to come round take a look straight away and give me a quote. Turned out he had the necessary equipment with him (jet-washer, camera & ladder) and undertook the work there and then in under an hour for a reasonable price. Showed me clear evidence afterwards of material removed and clear pipes via CCTV all the way up to the bathroom. Cleared up thoroughly afterwards. Very professional, prompt and effective service. Would thoroughly recommend.

After listing my 'problem' on Check a Trade, George phoned me promptly. He offered to get an engineer out asap. He confirmed there was no call out, but a quote would be given once they'd taken a look and assessed the problem. A follow up whatsapp confirmed the ETA of an engineer.
Danny did a great job. He's based local to me, so arrived promptly. Talked me through what he thought was happening and quoted a price, asking if I wanted to go ahead.
The work was done there and then. They got on with the task and resolved the issue. Nice guys. No big sell, talked everything through. Cleared up after themselves.

I contacted Drain Unblocking 247 this morning at 09:45 and they attended at 15:00. After some trouble-shooting and problem-solving, after 3 hours they (Russell and Yarek) were able to solve the problem, find the source of the blockage and jet through the soil stack to unclog the sewage which emanated out of the gully and was also causing a slow flushing downstairs toilet.

Suffice it to say, it was an extremely smelly few hours!!

Russell and Yarek (despite being based in Woolwich) were patient, diligent, organised, conscientious and professional. They weren't complaining about time, having to go to other jobs, equipping failing, not having certain items for the job or any other excuses (which I've experienced with many other drainage companies and tradesmen).

All in all: highly recommended, especially for those in the Tottenham area.

I've wasted £ 100 over 2 days and still didn't managed to ublock the main drainage pipe and this guy came on the 3rd day, paid him £ 150 and he's got the job done in 15 minutes with no fuss. Recommended! Also, be patient as he's pretty busy, but will show up and save the day in no time.

We had a problem with our communal drains being blocked and backing up. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant !
We couldn't use toilets or run any water as the main drain was completely blocked and flowing out of the smaller drains into the garden.
We tried but couldn't even get the main drain cover off to clear the blockage.
They came out on the same day and there was no call out charge.
The man who came out was so nice, polite, friendly and so very helpful ( I wish I had written his name down as I have forgotten it )
He talked us through the problem and what he would be doing to clear the drain. He gave us a fixed price to clear it. Then worked very hard to move a stubborn blockage. He made sure it was properly free flowing before he cleaned up very well and replaced the cover properly. I felt that he was totally trust worthy and so helpful.
I would definitely have him back again for any future problems and fully recommend the company, I will be passing on their name.

I called this company initially to come out on Bank Holiday Monday to examine the drains outside my property because water was seeping into a cupboard next to my hallway and spreading across the hallway carpet. Unfortunately, they had to cancel the appointment because their van broke down.

It was rescheduled for the following morning, and because of the inconvenience, they kindly waived the callout fee. Sam Gee came in the morning and carried out a thoroughly professional review of the drains, including remote viewing with a camera and high pressure jet washing to remove any potential debris which may have been causing the leak. Sadly he was unable to pinpoint where the leak was coming from; but he was friendly, apologetic and very business-like in his approach.

A further examination later that day by the property management company finally revealed that the leak was coming from a faulty seal and washer under the cistern in my toilet, causing a leak which had spread into the adjoining cupboard. Sam was not to know this - it wasn't what he'd been called out to look for - and absolutely no blame can be attached to him.

So although he was unable to resolve this issue, I'd like to pass on my commendation to him and hope that he can be made aware of this. I'd definitely recommend this company for any future drain clearing work.

Hi all.
We are the main construction contractor for the project in central London. I phoned Geogre about the blockage that flooded the front of the property. To my surprise, he said he can be with us within 90min. To be fair, I thought I misheard him as usually we wait for days, even for an “emergency” calls.

George was swift, helpful, and most importantly, effective. It took him no more than 45 min to open the manhole (that was screeded over) and unblock the drain.

Moreover, he was extremely flexible with the payment method. Because I am the site manager and the payments must go through the main office, he agreed for the payment to be made the following day.

I can’t recommend enough. He is now our preferred contractor for this type of service.

Excelent job done at midnight

Highly impressed with the service, this is the second time we have had to call them out in 3 years. Highly professional. When I called about a blocked toilet at our premises, The Southgate Club, within 10 minutes he was at the back of our club and fixed our problem within 20 minutes, being a commercial premises, some very unusual items flushed down the toilet which I do not want to mention. We have used other companies in the distant past which resulted in repeated call outs. We would recommend Drain Unblocking 247 to anyone, both commercial and domestic.
