I am totally mystified how on earth this company has a decent review status with Trustpilot. They however are excellent at taking zero responsibility for customers booking via their agent portal. Group of car on the voucher. Something they just pluck from thin air totally meaningless! I have yet to understand how I was so lucky to be UPGRADED from a Peugeot 108 5 door to an ageing Fiat 500 2 door? Perhaps I am just one of those customers who pays your money and has the **** taken out of them. Yes, they are cheap but at the end of the day believe me you get what you pay for DYS are certainly no exception. P.s customer service at DYS is an insult to those companies and businesses that actually pride themselves on customer satisfaction. Just seen the reply from DYS to this review. The usual stepping away from taking any responsibility. Instead switching to the good old rhetoric “we value our customers”. Yep blame Goldstar its easy cop out!!!

The company recommended Goldcar at Alicante Airport for an 11 day car rental. Having used DYS for 15 years without problems I felt confident we would recieve a good service. The on-airport pick-up was chaotic with a delay of 1hour 20mins, the suggested car was not available so an upgrade was given. On return I was presented with a photo of a rear door scratch which had not occurred on our hire but had not been previously recorded on their records. I now have to pay for their oversight. They said I should have inspected the car more thoroughly on pick-up. Not easy in a poorly lit car park in the dark. Be warned!

Terrible (and potentially non-lawful?) hidden fees and misrepresentation of the total cost, resulted in leaving my rental car at the agency and cancelling my plans.
I booked with doyouspain to rent a car for one full day in Malaga. The price was reasonable online, however upon picking up the car, I was informed there would be a manditory service fee for refeulling, equal to more than the entire cost of the rental itself.
Surprised I clarified, "this would only apply if I bring the car back empty correct?"
The agent replied "No this is a non refundable fixed fee. Every week we have this problem with clients coming from DoYouSpain".
He then showed me where the fine print is listed within the "fuel policy" menu, WITHIN the "terms and conditions menu". A fixed fee for "refuelling" no matter how you bring the car back.
A fixed fee which is not at all represented in the final check out price on the website, OR the final receipt I received by email post booking.

- Fuel Policy was not removable by the front desk of the agency, this was tested and confirmed. The issue was with DoYouSpain.
- The fee is listed in the terms and conditions, sure. A fixed fee that is unavoidable should be part of the final check out price. Not hidden in terms and conditions.

Doyouspain and their company's try to intimidate their customers and in this case Delpaso, demand to pay extra for insurance(>500 Euro) because of our platium creditcard from ING was not good enough for the normally reservations. This is ridiculous. No support from Doyouspain. So my advice don't hire with them. i never had issues with Sunny cars.
No They try to be friendly, but in my Compliance the refuse to discuss about any refund.
So please be carefull with them
