I have coverage for a 6.5 year old washer, dryer and refrigerator with D&G. After all this time my washer was doing the rumba across the floor. I arranged for an appointment online. Technitian came a few days later. Knew exactly what was wrong and quickly fixed the problem - changing parts and advising future care. The tech was on time, professional and personable. Great service!

I called the # listed on my warranty Tuesday morning and was set up with a Friday appointment. I was good with that. I got a call in the afternoon that the service man finished early and they could squeeze me in Tuesday afternoon, instead of waiting until Friday. The service man called to let me know he was 30 minutes away. He was on time. He explained everything and got my washer up and running. Very courteous and friendly. Thank you!

The repair technician was on time.
Explain what the problem was with the washer and oven. Checked all systems and put a order in for new
parts. Polite and knowledgeable.
But your system to request a repair
leaves a lot to be desired, basically it
is awful.

My appointment was quickly scheduled. Then the tech called and asked to come out the next day! if that was convenient for me. The tech was knowledgeable, confirmed the trouble code, had the correct part on the company truck, and fixed my machine in record time. I am glad Domestic and general has the great company and the techs to come out and work! My cost was zero!

Domestic & General has been a nightmare. My Whirlpool washer failed in under 2 years, and Whirlpool recommended D&G. It's now been over a month with no resolution. The technician said it wasn't economical to repair, but D&G keeps claiming they haven't received his updates while also telling him not to call or they'll close the case. I've called 10–15 times, can't reach a supervisor, and have spent over $100 at the laundromat. Terrible customer service and endless runaround.

Hard to get ahold of. Waited on the phone for over an hour. No accountability. I’m having to go else where to get my appliance fixed.

They never do repairs properly, then they leave without doing things right, and when you call to make another appointment, they give it to you 2-3 weeks later.

They did not disclose information about cancelling their useless extended warranty would cost between $200-400 dollars. I got a technician sent out to replace a part which he did and it only washed one load and quit. Domestic and general will not contact the provider for you they make you do all the work to make phone calls to get things worked out between them and the provider versus them calling to get it done quickly. Its been over a month without a washer. I paid for this plan and still have to go to the laundromat to pay more money to wash which I've had to do all month and now have to do so again because I can't cancel until they deem my washer unfixable then I can cancel the plan without reprecussions. Until then I'm stuck with a broken washer because it's something in their computer system that's messed up. There is so much more to it but I'm to frustrated and upset with their lack of communcation but eagerness to take my money. Thier extended warrantey is not worth the massive headache it offers.

Absolutely terrible experience! I signed up for the warranty because the company stated that they could fix my dryer within 3 days so I signed up. Big mistake. They use a third party company to fix the repairs. I told them initially what part needed to be repaired. The third party company on the day they were supposed to come out, rescheduled the appointment to the following week so I had to wait another 7 days just for them to come out. On the day of the new appointment, the technician did not come during the window they had scheduled which I stayed home for. I had to call multiple times to get someone to come out because no one answered. Then after calling a technician directly, he came later in the day. Then the technician stated that they could not fix my dryer and needed to order the part that I had already told the company during our initial call. We waited for the parts to come in for about a week. When the parts arrived, I contacted the company for 2 days and was ignored and could not even schedule an appointment for them to come to actually fix the dryer. After, 3 days of calling, they let me know that they would not be able to come fix the dryer until another 2-3 weeks later. Because that was too long I told them to cancel and that I would need to go with another company. That third party company lied to D&G and said that they fixed my dryer during the initial appointment. Now domestic and general won’t cancel my plan, even though their policy says that if they don’t fix your appliance within that first appointment, your plan is now void. Because the third party company lied and said they fixed, D&G have not cancelled my plan. I have evidence that their third party company did not fix my dryer and that I had to pay additional money to get a different company to fix it. Terrible customer service, terrible warranty. Would NOT recommend.

The repairman was on time, made a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way.
Listened to me and inspected my refrigerator and ran some tests. Told me what I needed. Came back and solved my problem.

Do not purchase an extended warranty with this company. They will find a reason to cancel your policy when it comes time to help you. You’ve been warned.
They say they are here to assist but they’re not. The terms of the plan do state, to be transparent, that if parts are not available they can cancel your policy. They literally had a part sent to the repairman’s apartment and it was “stolen” and there are parts shown as available online but yet the claim no parts are available. When calling them to discuss they said the policy has been canceled and there’s nothing they will do. Avoid this company.

Timely scheduling, efficiency, polite workers. Explaining everything, and every step to secure a repair. I have used this company several times in this year. When I call for the repair the wait time, is next to nothing. Three times this years alone I was very pleased with the results The workers were the best, polite, clean-up after, and explain so you can understand what the problems was and how repairs was completed
Thank you

This company is a scam! A tech came to my house and said they needed to order a part for my fridge. It has been a month and no one ever reached out to me. I contacted them to see the status and they told me a part has been shipped. I called back the next because I’m having issues with my fridge again and customer service said that the part is on back order. Don’t believe nothing they tell you! No one called after they promised so many times and customer service never address the issue.
