Ordered in August a bathroom cabinet, paid and it never came. Then they sent a consumer satisfaction link for me to fill and I said this in the survey. They said that my comment did not meet their standards to publish it, even though it simply said that I would not recommend because they did not in fact deliver the item. So, no & no to ordering from them.

I found it tricky enough to set up… with having to cut the hose & set up the attachments in proper order I needed to go away from it a few times & go back when I was ready to try again… I liked the lightweight for moving it around & wall mount storage …

Very disappointing experience with B&Q.
I placed my order on 19 August and was given an expected delivery date of 2 September. It is now 17 September and I still have not received my order.
I have contacted B&Q several times by email asking for information about my delivery, but I have received no proper response and no clear explanation as to what has happened to my order.
I find this level of customer service completely unacceptable. B&Q took payment for the order, failed to deliver it on the expected date, and I am now left chasing them for answers.
The most frustrating part is not only the delay, but the complete lack of communication. If there is a problem with an order, I would at least expect the company to respond to the customer and explain what is happening.
After almost a month since placing the order, I still have neither the goods nor a clear delivery date.
Based on my experience, I am extremely disappointed with B&Q and would be very reluctant to order from them again.

Unfortunately, my experience with B&Q Ireland has been extremely disappointing.
I ordered moving boxes specifically because I was moving home and paid for delivery on 14 August. The delivery did not arrive as arranged, and after the estimated delivery date had been missed, I contacted B&Q on 18 August asking them to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
I moved out of the property completely on 18 August.
Despite my cancellation request, B&Q subsequently recorded the order as having been delivered to my former address on 21 August. I did not receive the boxes or tape and have no idea who, if anyone, they were delivered to. I also contacted reception at the property, who confirmed that they did not have the delivery.
What has made the experience particularly frustrating is the handling afterwards. B&Q's customer service response acknowledged the delayed delivery, but asked me to confirm whether I wanted to keep or return goods that I had already asked them to cancel before they were supposedly delivered, and which I never received.
Delivery problems can happen, and I would not normally leave a one-star review simply because an order was late. The issue here is the combination of the missed delivery, my cancellation request not preventing a subsequent delivery to an address I had already left, and the way the matter has been handled afterwards.
I think it is reasonable to expect that when an order has not arrived and a customer explicitly requests cancellation and a refund before a later attempted delivery, the issue should be straightforward to resolve.
Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

We went here to get new worktop sink and hob. Paid over 5k up front. A month later nothing. No arrangements no commitments and no help juts empty promises. Eventually exercised my rights a got full refund. They are basically held to ransom by their contractors in my opinion

Checked website to see if had the paint i wanted. They did. In and out in 5 mins. Great job
I use the click and collect service quite often its great, saves me a lot of time and easier to get what I actually need and avoid overspending.
There was no confirmation of shipping which made me worry about a delay in the shipping.
Also there seemed to be no communication between their staffs as to the status of my order.

really poor ordering and communicaiton. Site kept on timing out during ordering. order placed and paid for 2 day delivery, got an email confirmaiton the next day and then realised they deided to cancel a part of the order (which was not particularly obvious in the email header). had to call support and was on hold for 20 minutes to get any sort of insight into delivery details. it was only after talking to the agent i got an email about delivery which was 24 hours later than what was selcted at check out. A crap experience and I wont be ordering online with them again

Order large item for the delivery, and few small stuff, day before my delivery they cancelled my large item, the only one I need for delivery, but they send rest of the items but charges me delivery for the canceled item. I was waiting for 10days for them to answer my email, and now I still waiting for their second replay and it pass 2 weeks. Never again will order from then. Terrible customer support .

Ease of ordering. Not impressed with the length of time delivery of purchased item took. Delivery driver was so good in the day.
Click and collect order.
On arrival to the desk, there was no greeting from the staff. My order was not ready on arrival, even though I had received the confirmation that it was ready for collection.
Was made to wait 30 minutes for my order.
Staff were not pleasant and could see staff arguing between themselves while on the desk.
Unpleasant experience all round.

Only part of my order was delivered, despite it being sold as a set. When I questioned this, I was informed the rest of the set was out of stock. I'm not sure why I wasn't informed of this before delivery and given the option to not accept delivery of one corner seat and one giant table, rather than having to store it in my home for five days while waiting for the order to be collected again. I had to call B&Q 9 times in order to be refunded in full. Someone called me from a UK number and asked me to call them back but the number they told me to ring didn't exist and when I called the number they rang from, I was told I needed to be put through to the Irish team, which I could have called on free phone, rather than paying for international minutes to call the number I was asked to call. One time when I rang this UK number, a man was talking to me in a completely different language and I had to hang up after several attempts to speak with him. I will not be shopping at b&q again. Also, when asked to review my items, I tried to write about what happened and b&q refused twice to publish my review.

Delivered damaged items. Took a month to fix and multiple phone calls. Don't care about customer experience

Prices on home heating smokeless coal very confusing and nearly 50% more expensive than other suppliers. Also had to chase them for nearly 2 weeks to obtain refund. Wait time to get through to customer services on phone is ridiculous. Never again
