DISCOUNT CARPET TILES Reviews 

Ordered tiles on Thursday evening then read the reviews and was worried. I was glad I had taken a screenshot of my order as there is no acknowledgment from the company and no dispatch email. However, my tiles arrived by Parcelforce on Monday morning. They were exactly as I ordered - visually perfect tiles- and the colours were as expected. The only reason I have deducted a star is for the lack of communication which detracts from a very efficient service

Concept is good but a shame they can’t get things right first time! Fair play they always responded and sorted the problem out but when wrong samples are sent, wrong amount of tiles sent and then additional tiles sent to wrong address this was more than just a one off mistake!

After reading the negative reviews we took a chance and ordered “Posh Olive” carpet tiles. I have to say our experience was a brilliant one. Straight forward ordering and they were delivered the next day. The carpet tiles are great and look just like the picture.

I ordered several samples and paid the £7 delivery charge but no samples arrived, no one answers their email and looking at the reviews I’m not the first person to have been ignored. Thankfully it’s not much money but it’s still wasted my time- avoid this company!

Oh dear 🤷‍♀️I was trying to save money bought them for upstairs stair and landing but can’t use them as they are very dark .

Really good service. Arrived 2 days after placing order.

Not as cheap as expected prices pre VAT and could have got tiles locally at roughy the same price. Ordered box perfects some did have slight flaws and no notification of delivery. I made a mistake in my order (didn’t order enough) so placed another for the same tikes. They contacted me 3 days later asking me to show the what I previously bought? Which I did send an image then showed me images on their side which did not look box perfects and unsure if same shade. I explained this and I had paid for box perfects and your site stated you had 179 of these to the reply we’ll send your tiles tomorrow. Still no delivery notification and feeling I might not get the correct tiles. I’m sure there’s deals to be made however their website, ordering and logistic service and notifications need to be improved.

Ok got them this evening and after taking one it they are grey, I ordered shadow black and there is a massive flaw on the only tile I have taken out. Clearly not the box perfects ordered. It appears they have not really setup and just winging it and giving buyers from there website whatever they have regardless (this is no way to run a business) they are clearly buying seconds and flogging them off, delivery quite excessive also. I will be asking for a full refund on both my orders. Took them 4 days to process the order also. I shall be staying local in future and would have saved money doing so.

I visited their website and called to check what carpet tiles were available and in stock. Some of their heavily discounted tiles were out of stock (end of line Probably) but they were very helpful by actually physically checking what tiles were available in the warehouse once we decided on the type we had chosen. They were also very helpful in explaining the quality of the tiles advertised as “Factory Seconds” which we eventually ordered. The overall service was a great experience. The delivery was perfect as well as the tiles arrived the day after ordering them, plus we received an extra 2 tiles over the 52 we ordered. A great experience all round.

Excellent service, ordered 105 tiles from patchwork range(factory seconds) , recieved 110, good quality, only a couple of tiles that any fault was really visible, very happy with the selection of colours we recieved would not hesitate to use again

Ordered samples. Got refund next day. Called the guy. He said he is not doing samples and there is a note on the website saying "there is no sample service" But clearly on the website, it says free samples and you can literally pay and checkout.

I am really happy that I took a gamble on this company! I ordered some carpet tiles from this company recently. Unfortunately the ones I ordered were out of stock. I spoke to a gentleman there who advised me of the situation and asked me to make another selection. I phone them back with my new choice and they changed the order VERY quickly and refunded the small price difference on the same day. Everything shipped very quickly. Even though I ordered on Monday with 2nd class delivery, they all arrived on Wednesday. The quality of what I received was great too and I feel as though I received a fantastic deal. I spoke to two people there, a man and a woman and they were both polite and friendly. I've seen some of the other reviews, but I can only speak of my own experience, which was a good one. Thanks a lot guys!!

Took a gamble and it paid off! I needed some carpet tiles for a log cabin I'm building. I didn't want to pay over £600 for something that was temporary.
Reviews of discount carpet tiles weren't encouraging but this is what you need to know:
-You cannot trust the colour in the picture of the tile you want (they even state this in the terms and conditions)
-Their business is mostly around selling factory seconds, so don't be surprised if its not up to spec
-The quality of the actual tile will be very good (I got second hand DCT tiles and they were immaculate)
-VAT isn't included until check out and you can expect to pay about £50 ontop for delivery. If you have issues with your order, it is your responsibility for shipping it back. So you really need to be sure of what you're buying.

I've had an absolute result with my tiles as the colour didn't need to be perfect, just roughly what was in the description. I expect a more grey tile and ended up with a blue one, but it ended up being nicer than the picture.

This is a discount business so I can't understand why people are upset when their business model is on factory seconds and expect perfection?

I've had no issues with comms and I had a nice chat with he receptionist about the glue that was missing. She sorted the issue straight away and was very polite.

For this to be a 5 star review, they need to be more proactive on their website. Taking a recent picture and updating their site more regularly will improve the reviews.

Overall, chuffed with what I've got.

Just received the tiles, completely the wrong colour, phone them just goes to answer phone and no answer from my emails... Reading the reviews sounds like I'm not the only person to get conned. Instead of plum and get dayglow orange... I will report them to trading standards and the financial ombudsman immediately - unless I get either a refund or the correct colour I ordered!

I have ordered from Discount Carpet Tiles several times now. I have always ordered the same colour. The last 3 batches I have ordered have been so different that the colour has changed from a dark green to a lime green. i emailed several times and called but no answer. I wont be ordering again from them ever.

Really bad service, ordered tiles, payed money, 4 days later refund came through with no communication or reason. Lost 4 days in trying to source a tile I needed to replace ready to give a property back.

It's quite simple. You will get a good quality tile at a low price. But here's the one star humdinger of a problem; the colour of the tile delivered bears no resemblance whatsoever to the colour of the tile shown on the website which you ordered in good faith. Worse still, the company ignore all your correspondence. Once they've got your money they absolve all responsibility. Hate the tiles they sent me but are stuck with them. Not a professional company. Avoid unless you are prepared to be very disappointed.

Ordered raspberry carpet tiles ended up with boysenberry tiles which is not the same shade They actually are purple. Website shows a complete different colour shade . Am not pleased with my order. Will not order again

They took money out of my bank for tiles priced at £1.98 each. I ordered 85 and £38 delivery charge.
They then processed a refund without any communication with me.
When I called to question it they said the tiles were out of stock.
A day later they were back in stock for £6.89 per tile!
Unprofessional staff attitude and general con artists.
