I ordered a rug weeks ago. They claimed was dispatched and provided tracking. Tracking was not updated. They they advised that there was an issue and will send again. Same issue appears to be happening and now customer support not responding. Feels like a scam website.

EDIT: After writing the above a representative from the company wrote to me describing the above as "malicious, biased and incomplete... and could potentially amount to defamation." Meanwhile I am at almost 4 weeks since I paid for this rug. In spite of claims that this has been dispatched to me (twice) I contacted the couriers from the tracking (which has never updated) and they advised that they have never collected from the company and all that has happened is that the company have created the invoice with them.

So now comes the interesting part. If you look at their terms and conditions you will see that they are in fact a company based in the Netherlands. I could not find Mark and Day listed at Netherlands company house but the address matches with Surya Logistics Services who are the company who are sending the goods from Milton Keynes and is the company to which you have to make returns to. The director of that company is a French national named Ahmet Turan Yilmaz. You will see a positive review of this company below from someone with exactly the same name. Mere coincidence I am sure. And the person who threatened me with defamation...? A certain Jean-Michel who helpfully and I am sure also coincidentally has provided a positive review below. I can't say for certain that these are the same people but multiple claims by this company on their website as to service, communication and delivery are very far from my experiences. I advised the company that I would be updating my review had I not received either the goods or a refund by today and this went unanswered. I have now requested a charge back through my bank account and have filed a complaint with Trading Standards UK who will if necessary take it up with their EU partners. I would be wary of the apparent positive reviews here as I have been consistently misled in my interactions with this company. Further update perhaps to follow.

Further update: 27 January. It appears this company are piggybacking off of a US company even leaving reviews on their page. I never received my rug in any case and claimed the money back through my bank. The company have contested this but have no grounds for doing so. Absolute scam.

Ordered arrived in 3 days. Very well packaged. Only had rug down for a few hours so not quite flat yet. On the whole I’m happy with purchase would use again. True to image also.

I was frustrated by the lack of communication from the courier and the delays in receiving the product. I would like to apologise for my lack of confidence in you and the delivery company and would like to thank you for keeping in touch regarding the order and offering a refund.
I ordered two rugs and each are of good quality, size and value. Very happy with the rugs, when the were finally received 😊

Don't usually leave reviews but I can honestly say I am SO impressed by this rug! I saw reviews below saying that delivery took forever and this wasn't the case for me - I ordered on Monday and it's here on Thursday. The rug I got is lovely quality and exactly like the picture. I'm chuffed to bits with the new addition to my living room and I paid probably half what I would've paid elsewhere. Highly recommend! :)

The rug's quality is quite poor (very thin), but judging only by its looks, it's ok.
What's even worse is the customer service's quality and the whole delivery experience.

Customer service does not respond. The mailbox doesn't work when we try to write. When they do answer the phone, it's with the utmost rudeness and they hang up on you saying "we'll call you back" (obviously they don't call back).

The parcel tracking leads to an address in Chicago (and not in the UK).

Not to mention the app we need to download to check the (inaccurate) tracking, that requests a lot of personal information and even asks for access to "read our emails" on Gmail (!)

Since my rug was not arriving, and I wasn't able to receive any information from client services, I had requested a refund. But obviously, no one responded to that request either.

Thankfully the rug ended up being delivered, so I didn't have to go through a long battle.

I live in France. I sent a rug back (colours not the same as on the picture) and more than a month later, they're still trying not to pay me back: refund to a wrong customer, then inedaquate amount that doesn't apply their own terms &policy. If you buy on their website, be 100% sure, their return policy is not applied and actually is a real scam!!

And top-notch customer service!

Ordered on a friday, came on the monday, brilliant service, full updates/tracking via their delivery company and the rug is absolutely stunning, gorgeous colours, totally changes the look of my living room, love it

Was a bit worried after reading the reviews but I bought a large rug on the Tuesday and by Thursday it was here! So pleased with the fast service and the rug is gorgeous.

I was weary when I read the reviews after ordering 2 giant rugs from here. But I am pleasantly surprised - I was informed of confirmation and tracking by email, delivery was super fast -3 days, rugs were packaged well, and are stunning! They are thin rugs as expected for machine washable, but lovely quality and stunning design.
Thoroughly pleased and would buy from here again.

Wish I read the reviews about this company before ordering. No response to the phone number provided. Automated response in a foreign language to emails. Absolutely shocking. Don't want your time

i ordered 2 rugs from M&D and after placing order i read the reviews, seeing so many negative of them it really made I worry 😩, but you know what I'm glad I first ordered not the other way around as I wouldn't have ordered them and that would have been a BIG MISTAKE.
I got my rugs within 3 days, looks just amazing the quality is not the best but you know what for this price is very good, 💯% I recommend them!!!

Ordering was easy. The company kept me updated an the rug arrived much quicker than expected. It looked like the picture, and I am happy with the way it looks. The quality is not amazing but for £22 I wasn't expecting a brilliant finish, but it is certainly fit for purpose. Perhaps not for a living room but for a family room with dogs in and out it is great.
