Their site and app does not work!

Their site or app does not work!
I had subscribed to the smart account, but it does not help me in any way to send messages to a landlord.
When unsubscribing from their service, they only give limited options from which you cannot say that their service did not help at all!
It was a waste of my money.

Don't bother with this service

Don't bother with this service. Most of the "promised" functionality for a paid account just doesn't work. I tried all possible web browsers and was getting error all the time when I did try to upload something or edit my profile. Only parts of the profile did actually change.
And then they try to charge you automaticall for membership renewal, stay away.
And yes, I didn't find rental propeprty through them of course.

Bad custome rservice

After contacting the customer service, that their website is being used for FRAUDE with my personal details, they decided not to get in touch. Not via Facebook messenger, or by email. So I messaged them again on FB and after one day I get a message sorry, we do not have a customer service by phone, you can email us. Which I already did but no answer.

This Webiste is being used for FRAUDE. If someone says after you applied for an add, sorry this apartment is already taken but I have a friend who rents out her house at the KUIPERSSTRAAT, do NOT SEND THEM MONEY. It happened twice now and people keep appaering at my doorstep.

Fake

Fake. They take rental offers from other websites and place them on their app and website. In order to view those ads, you'll have to upgrade to a "smart" account. It's not really that smart to upgrade since you will never get any response from a "landlord". I also noticed that many of the "landlords" bear the same name, such as Yvette. Better go to Funda where you can see all rentals for free with real contact details. Wasted a lot of money on this fake crap

TRAP

You see that awesome studio at cheap price you want to apply for?
It is a TRAP, so you suscribe their fee!
It's full of bug and only 1 out of 5 announce will get you an answer (most of time agencies, which have the same offer on their site)

Scammers

same as per the others. no ad would ever answer, they make you subscribe monthly, they charge you no matter what. the boring recipe for a scam.

Worst experience ever

Direct wonen is a lacking service where you don't get responses from landlords and where the listings are mostly old (i got only a couple of responses saying the property was rented out out of a lot of messages). Not only that but they also make use of the so called 'subscription trap' where you get automatically billed the next month if you forget to unsubscribe from their 'smart' feature and they don't give you a chance not to sign up for auto-renewal. I had also a kamernet premium account but they messaged me three days before my new billing period would begin (good customer service). I emailed directwonen within one hour of the new subscription taking effect telling them I had no need of their service anymore as I have found an apartment somewhere else and to please cancel the transaction. They refused saying this was specified when I made the smart account in the first place. While true, that is just an anti-consumer practice: we don't care if you don't need our service or if you're not gonna use it, we got you to agree to pay so too bad, sucker.

As a conclusion, stay away from direct wonen, their poor service and unethical practices.

I would call it a scam

I would call it a scam. Doesn't matter if one pays and replies to ads immediately. S/he never gets an answer from anybody.

Worst experience

I'm not sure if the other reviews are real one. But I was searching for the apartment for one month. And was subscribed for the service for almost one month. And directwonen didn't help me at all, 99% of the houses I responded to, never respond me back. I did not have any viewings, or appointments from the ads on their website. I payed one month premium thinking that might help, but it was useless. Moreover, I didn't know that they auto-renew the subscription(maybe it's my fault, I was inattentive at that moment). So they charged me for the second month I didn't intended to use. When I asked them to return the money for second month they rejected. It's just my opinion but I would not recommend paying them.

They don't even deserve any star

They don't even deserve any star. Complete waste of money and time. They lead you to other agents whom you should pay again to register - like Domica.

Unprofessional, unreliable. Be careful.
