Rip off merchants. AVOID!!!!

My pensioner mother phoned me upset that she had booked flights through this company and paid for fees she didn’t need to. They don’t refund any fees and they just refer her to the airline (easyet). They replied to her message she raised with that effect and to mind they exist to skim off money from people who aren’t as tech savvie. They disgust me and I hope they go out of business very soon. Vile. And that includes you, Sara from Customer Services.

Great customer service

I booked a flight to Newark got to payment page, paid and then came up as an error. I was afraid I had lost my money. Rang the customer service number and a lovely lady called Tracy couldn’t have helped me more! She got an even better deal for me than I had and actually saved me just under £200!! I will definitely be using them again!

Do not use this site

I wish I had read your reviews before booking flights with this company. I paid £213.96 for 2 return flight's from Glasgow to Gatwick. If I had booked directly with easyjet same flights would have been £113.Read all the small print and do not get conned like me..def no stars from me.

Threatening letter. Bank advised ignore.

Received a threatening letter from this company yesterday demanding MY OWN MONEY back for a UK flight I didn't take - twice! Rebooked due to storm Feb 2020 then FlyBe went bust so May flight (in early Covid) was not taken. My bank arranged a refund of MY money. Two years later Directline Flights pop up giving me 14 days or debt collection action. Called and spoke to the Director who was rude. Called my bank who confirmed MY own money is MY own money and it was rightly refunded to me for a service I never used. I don't expect to hear from DLF again but still feel stressed about the letter and threat. All sounds like a scam?

Inflated booking costs

If you are booking an internal UK flight e.g. Easyjet then don't use this site. They will charge you substantially more than if you go to the airline's website.

Scandalous organisation

The company are nothing but pure and simple THEIVES failing to pay out on cancelled flights and failing to acknowledge any polite legitimate requests to do so.
Ryanair I’d distance yourself from this company as they are dragging your fragile credibility down as a direct result.

Very poor customer service

Dragged their heels passing on a refund for flights which were cancelled due to COVID taking 10 months and multiple attempts to chase them for it.. Also stung with a £50 'non-refundable' service charge..

Directline-flights failed to pass on a…

Directline-flights failed to pass on a refund from EasyJet for cancelled flights.The refund was paid to directlineflights in June 2020.I have tried phoning & have written to directlineflights & have received no reply.Directlineflights have effectively stolen my money.
Never use this company !

My flights were cancelled in June 2020…

My flights were cancelled in June 2020 and I still have not received my refund. Direct line flights are blaming jetset. It’s a disgusting company and I will never make the mistake of using them again. Stay clear of this company!

We refunded Ms Harrop on 5/2/21 from our own reserves, as a gesture of goodwill, so she did not have to wait any longer for the refund from Jetset. (Jetset were, in turn, waiting for Aegean Airlines, as she knew).

Directline FAIL to refund

Booked with Direct line flights. Cancelled due to Covid. Refund asked for and sent to Directline flights who have not refunded to me. NEVER use this company.

Still no refund from April due to covid…

Still no refund from April due to covid cancelled flights been in touch with them can sort it out but I have to pay £50 for my refund to get my money they have that I never received goods they put a fee on to book flights Now they want to charge more to get back total rip off Would not advise anyone to use this company

A82TRA REFUND, Flight No FR9072

I still haven't received my refund 7 months after my flights were cancelled. Ryanair have told me it has been refunded to Directline Flights. I have done everything I have been asked to do - refused vouchers, filled in all forms, tried calling only getting answerphone, sent emails and complaints and get no answer from any of them. Do the decent thing and pay people what you owe them, we were ATOL protected weren't we? I think refusing to pay back £700+ is theft isn't it? I will be very cautious when booking flights again and will never use Direct Line Fights again if this isn't sorted soon.

My husband had an emergency heart…

My husband had an emergency heart double bypass surgery and we cannot fly on the 27th December and therefore reached out to this company three times to understand what our options are. There has been no response and you can’t even talk to anyone on the phone as the automated message tells you to just reply to any emails and they will contact you within 72 hours which is a load of rubbish!

disgusting company

Directline flight questioned me putting my last review but have don’t nothing to contact me, even though I’ve sent them more emails. They used to respond by passing the blame to Ryanair now nothing.

None returned flight refund !!

This company seem to be making a lot of money from stealing from people !!! 😡

No refund from May flights, now December.

I still don't have a refund from flights cancelled from May, booking ref M6IC3G, Ryanair said they refunded directline flights on 14th sept but I haven't received this refund and its now 2nd December? Why arent they passing on the refunds? I would be very wary to use them again.

I had booked flights for September…

I had booked flights for September through direct line flights . Due to the COVID pandemic I was unable to use the flights I had booked. And they were cancelled, filled out all online information for refunds and still not received my money back .I have emailed many times and they say I haven’t filled out proper information .I have sent pictures of all info that was required.And they still say I haven’t .I would never book through them again .
Haha put this review up nov20 and the company just replied back to me on trust pilot today.
But I have got my money back as threatened court action against them .

I booked Ryanair flights which I thought was direct with them it turns out it was infact with directline flights I booked and payed in sep 2019 for a flight June 2020 in may 2020 Ryan air cancelled the flight and finally on November 3rd Ryanair payed my refund it’s now 12th November and directline still haven’t refunded my money although in their terms and conditions it clearly states 5 working days after they received the money from the airline. I have emailed them several times and they say they will refund shortly but still no refund
I will never ever use directline for flights or anything else this company cannot be trusted and are behaving fraudulently and breaching their own terms and conditions

I have checked and can see that your refund was made on 16 November, 6 working days after we received it from Ryanair.

I am so sorry for any delay. After months of chasing airlines for refunds, they have been coming through in recent weeks by the thousand, and some are difficult to match up with the relevant booking. Identifying, checking and making refunds is a manual task, which in normal times we turn around within a few days. With the recent volumes that has not been possible, despite us putting all available staff into the Refunds Team.
