Disappointed

Placed order over 2 weeks ago, got email telling me order was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 5 days, then 5 hours later another email saying I`d get a refund in 10 days? Shocking customer service!!

Still waiting for a refund

Certainly looking like I have been scammed.

No items, no refund, no phones lines and 2 week email response times for items ordered in September.

Honest and Polite

I did find the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. I did not find myself feeling like any products were being pushed or that I had to make any quick decisions.

Not impressed anymore

i had used my local store regularly until recently, I purchased new set of clubs and bag can't fault teaching staff in help getting right clubs but since it has gone downhill, having spent £1200 I never got the point added to their rewards scheme until I complained and even then they apparently couldn't find any record of the sale, had problem with the bag and callaway offered to exchange but manager at direct golf was rude and unhelpful ended up with a bag totally different colour but gave up with them. Any points I do get I can't use at this store and I have never received a card anyway, their response this time just order online instead, can't see me using again

Excellent after sales service

Bought a pair of Stuburt Helium golfshoes in the spring, which proved to be faulty, but when I contacted the company they resolved the issue straight away. Their 'no quibble' response was first class, and the replacement shoes provided are really good. Was expecting a bit of a 'battle', but the after-sales service was excellent.
Thanks once again.

great service

I have been in Direct Golf, Doncaster probably over 20 times. I have always found them to be very friendly, polite and they have a great knowledge of the equipment they sell. The manager Paul Liddle , James French , mick, mike and Roy have always seemed like a family to me than rather than myself being a customer. I have spent hundreds of pounds in this store, and I recommend them to any one.

Highly recommended

Being somewhat of a novice golfer, I was looking for a set of clubs that would improve my game. Not knowing the different ranges available I asked a friend and he pointed me in the direction of direct golf Edinburgh. I seeked advice from a salesman that approached me in the shop who asked me some great questions to get to know how often I played and whether or not it was just a hobby or something I was looking to do more seriously. After talking about which clubs best suited me we went along to the in shop golf simulator which was fantastic, he helped to sort my swing and adjusted my clubs to suit the way I play. I felt like a was well looked after and the advice I was given was spot on. Never have I been to a shop with this level of service. Everyone was friendly and you were made to feel like a pro. Looking forward to playing more and my next visit to direct golf in Edinburgh. Keep up the good work guys!

Legendary Salesman

Ive been to many golf shops in my time but Direct Golf in Edinburgh has got to be the best experience from start to finish for me.
The shop was well presented, with everything very easy to find.
The service received from Ruairidh the young man that served me was second to none. I really felt well looked after and not just told what I wanted to hear.
I was so impressed I pointed my brother in the direction of Direct Golf.
I don't shop anywhere else now.. Fantastic!!

Helpful, knowledgable sales staff

Recently rang the sales team with a view to order some new equipment, found the salesman on the other end of the phone was friendly, showed good product knowledge and happily answered any questions I had. I needed the items for the next day and happily enough, at 10 o'clock the next morning my parcel arrived, less than 24 hours after ordering! Very efficient and enjoyable shopping experience and definitely wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Direct Golf

Ordered items on Tuesday and received on Wednesday, didn't even ask for next day delivery, how good is that! Products perfectly as described too, a very happy customer who would recommend this company to anyone, a thoroughly great online experience, which in todays world can be few and far between. Well done Direct Golf

Didn't buy, won't buy

On several occasions I've called in at Direct Golf in Farnborough. Each time I hope it has got better. Sadly not! The staff barely noticed me, just stood behind the counter and raised their eyes. The store is so badly laid out. Merchandisers where are you?? Still showing old clubs. I was keen to see the Mizuno JPX850. Not in stock. There is no flow at all to the store. As for the banging music! I thought I was at a nightclub! Sorry guys, you have a very long haul to get anywhere near to AG. Sorry to say the new Southampton branch isn't much better. Sandown' better staff, poor layout. You need to train the staff or employ some with personality. Sort out the mish mash of displays, stock the shelves.

Worst service ever

Don't use directgolf.
Their motto is probably: Lie, lie, lie, deny, deny, deny!!
Got a great offer in the telephone, 45% off an ironset.
But as soon as we were gonna finish the deal over email, the offer was all of a sudden 10% off.
The girl in customers service could all of sudden not remember what she had said in the phone. I mailed and asked that they should listen to the recording of the conversation. However they claimed they didn't record conversations!! )c:

awful

Visited direct golf to buy a new set of irons but left feeling disappointed and wouldn't use this company again. The advisor spent more time trying to sell me John letters irons than actually listening to what I was looking for. He then tried to sell me clubs that he claimed were right for me despite the specs contradicting his fitting from 5 mins earlier, this gave me the impression he was desperate to offload these older model irons. To cap off my awful experience I was told that a discount code I was emailed from the company wasn't valid despite me meeting all the criteria and t&c's of the offer. Very poor experience. Was so excited to be getting new irons and this experience ruined that.
