Do not use! After an initially impressive conversation with Margie at the Doncaster branch I decided to use this company for my elderly parents house which needed a deep clean. I had to chase several times to actually get an appointment secured, and that’s really where the nightmare began. The whole experience of dealing with this company has left me so stressed and exhausted. Cleaners was supposed to come to my parents house at 11 am and remain there until around 3 pm to deep clean the property. They left an hour and a half later, having barely scratched the surface. I could go on and on describing how difficult this company is to deal with and how they should not be in the homes of people with any form of additional needs but particularly those suffering from Alzheimer’s. They are impatient and basically took advantage of the whole situation. I really wish that I could post the WhatsApp conversation that I had with Marjie on here, I have never come across such poor service and disregard for one of the most vulnerable members of society.
I fortunately managed to get a refund of £290 from the £350 that I paid them.
They charged me £60 for a three hour clean but I was just too exhausted and stressed to challenge that despite having proof that the cleaners were only there for half of that time. Seriously, save yourselves and your loved ones a load of hassle and go somewhere else.

I am overall disappointed with the service provided. Of the cleaners sent, only one met an acceptable standard. The others failed to clean to a satisfactory level, leaving dust on the skirting boards, watermarks on the shower screen, and neglecting to clean under furniture, among other issues. Furthermore, I found Mandy, the area manager, unprofessional in handling my complaint, instead of apologising she just issued me with threats which ultimately led me to cancel my contract. Not a professional company and I am glad to have left

I'm very physically disabled and my husband works full time and the house was just too much for us. We were in desperate need of help and struggled to find a cleaner on our own. Diamond Home Support in Torquay responded quickly and had a cleaner out to us super fast! Bev, the cleaner, was super kind, very understanding, and extremely good at her job. She's been twice now and got our kitchen and bathroom in order and with fortnightly maintenance cleans from her we can keep on top of the mess!
Everyone's mood has improved and I don't feel ashamed of my home anymore

My name is Doctor Gamble and I paid Diamond Home Support £71.85 to complete a 3-hour professional clean of my two-bedroom apartment on 21st May 2024. The cleaner Clair arrived on time and was very pleasant. We went room by room and I explained what I would like done, and I also offered to let her use any of my new cleaning materials if she needed. She said that 3 hours was more than enough time to complete all of the cleaning. I then went out and returned 3 hours alter, at which point the cleaner said that she had just finished the cleaning and so she left. Before leaving she revealed that she was not a professional cleaner but a full-time student who did several part-time side jobs - one of which was cleaning.
I then went around the apartment and was shocked to find that the place had been left in an absolutely filthy condition, much worse than the condition before the cleaner arrived. The kitchen worktops and appliances were covered in crumbs, dirt and grime, the hob was now covered in dirt and residue that was not there before, the floors in every room were covered in dirt and fluff, the windows in the living room were now covered in circular streaks and residue that was not there before, the two shower doors in the ensuite (which were now both off their rails) were also covered in streaks and residue that was not there before, the rugs were covered in dirt and had clearly not be vacuumed (despite me specifically asking for this to be done), both toilets and the bath all now had lots of dirt and hairs on them that were not there before, the record player was also now covered in grime and dirt that was not there before. I have no idea what the cleaner was doing during those 3 hours but she certainly was not cleaning. She failed to do even the basics such as brushing down surfaces before wiping or vacuuming before mopping. What little cleaning had been attempted was obviously done with dirty cloths/sponges as most surfaces and appliances were now covered in dirt, grime and residue that was not there before. The floors (including rugs) in every room were covered in dirt and fluff, indicating that little or no vacuuming was carried out. This was one of the worst clening jobs I had ever seen as the entire apartment was now filthy, in a much worse state than before the "cleaning". The cleaner also failed to clean the balcony despite me clearly stating in my emails with the company that I had a balcony and wanted it cleaned as part of the job.
My mother (who also acts as my carer) was arriving at lunchtime the next day to visit and it was too short notice to arrange for an actual professional cleaner to undo the mess that the cleaner had made, so I ended up having to spend all of that night and the next morning re-cleaning the apartment myself (despite having long-term health issues) in order to bring it up to an acceptable condition. I filled an entire dustpan with crumbs, dirt and fluff as the cleaner had failed to brush or vaccuum any surfaces during her 3 hours in the apartment. I also had to clean the balcony myself and re-wash all the windows and shower doors as the streaks were so bad that I couldn't see through them. I also had to attempt to repair both shower doors - which the cleaner damaged when she left both of them off their runners. I should not have had to do any of this as I paid Diamond Home Support £71.85 to do all of this for me.
I emailed Jordan Hughes, the Liverpool Area Manager of Diamond Home Support, after the clean in which I attached 58 photographs that demonstrated the appalling condition in which my apartment was returned to me and I requestd a full refund. I received a two-sentence response in which my request for a refund was ignored, he offered no apology and even attempted to make excuses. The next day I then escalated the matter to a formal complaint in which I copied in the company's Managing Director, Andrew Watton, and requested for the second time a full refund. I then received an automated response which included an apology but again my request for a full refund was ignored. I then sent a final email the following day in which I requested for the third time a full refund. I received no response at all to this email, which was sent over 2 weeks ago, so my third request for a full refund has also been ignored.
I will now be reporting Diamond Home Support to Trading Standards and other regulatory bodies for gross incompetence and failure to provide a refund despite me sending numerous detailed emails of complaint and sending the company 58 photographs to demonstrate that little or no cleaning was done and that my apartment was returned to me in a filthy condition. I will also now be instructing my solicitors to begin legal action against Diamond Home Support through a Small Claims Court to reclaim the £71.85 that the company has taken from me and has failed to refund.
