As a father of 2 young kids (3 And 1) I wanted to get term life insurance in place should something happen to me, to make sure my family is protected as primary breadwinner. I was able to get 50k guaranteed from my employer but that didn't meet my needs. I understood from reading and talking to others that this would be an uphill battle, and likely difficult and expensive to accomplish

I applied twice through another popular insurance broker. Both quoted some approximate pricing, should I get approved. I thought it was a bit high but understandable being diabetic. Full medical exam and all and in the end after weeks of back and forth was denied due to Diabetes both times, even with an a1c in the mid 5s for the last few years with no complications.

I found Matt after some searching and after some back and forth over email (and later Text messaging, very personable), I was able to get a $500,000 term policy in place for half the monthly cost of the original two I applied for - with NO medical exam! Matt told me that this was the most I would be able to get for now with my two recent denials, but we can revisit in time to try to get coverage increased / a new policy. Of course, everybody's health situation is different.

All in all a great experience, and I truly felt like Matt had my best interest at heart and was going to bat for me with these insurance companies, rather than just being a number like I felt in the past with former companies. Would not hesitate to use him again in the future!

Burial insurance policies were found for my special needs! Brothers. My agent went out of his way to accommodate my schedule, even though we lived in different time zones! He also went out of his way to make sure I have hardcopies of the policies! It definitely was a smooth, seamless experience! he found plans that fit their budget even though they are on a limited income. So all around great experience with my agent!

I truly appreciate the help Matt Schmidt, put in to help me,beyond his duty as an agent. My bank had charged me 2 insufficient funds charges for a bank draft because of the insurance company mistake. He assisted me with the bank to get one of the fee waved. Being on a fixed income, it was a blessing. Thank you Matt.

Matt was able to find me a cheap policy without any bloodwork. I was told by other companies that my rates would be more expensive, and that I would have to do all the blood testing. That was not true as Matt found me the perfect plan without having to do this.

Recently had problem with insurance co. When trying to get copy of my policy. Called Matt Schmitt who is my agent and he immediately went to work to resolve the problem. He was relentless with the ins. Co in resolving my problem. Kept me in loop and he was able to resolve the problem.
