Fake tracking, non-delivery, refund only after chargeback
I placed an international order and was repeatedly told it had been “dispatched.” The business provided a tracking number that does not exist in the courier’s system.
After multiple contradictory explanations and no proof of shipment, I requested a refund. No action was taken until I mentioned I'd report this business on fraud and scam reports, to FTC, IC3, Instagram/Meta, India national cyber crime etc, and reported the business to consumer protection agencies.
Only after escalation was a refund initiated.
Buyers should be aware: this follows a common online shopping scam pattern - fake tracking, delays, and no delivery.
