Very Disappointing Order - Scones Fell Apart
I almost feel a bit silly complaining about a scone, but afternoon tea is something I really enjoy, and every so often my wife surprises me with one. She ordered some scones from DCT as a special treat, but unfortunately they were incredibly disappointing. They crumbled apart the moment we tried to cut or spread anything on them, making it impossible to enjoy them properly with cream and jam. It ended up being quite a mess, and I felt awful for my wife, who had gone out of her way to make it a thoughtful surprise. We were both really let down.

Never received the cream tea hamper…
Never received the cream tea hamper despite paying extra for Saturday delivery. No response, no goods, not a happy anniversary hamper for my parents that I had planned for them. Now opened a dispute to get a refund as paid via PayPal. Check the FB reviews, I wish I had.....I would avoid this company, save your money.

Unfortunately, once an order has been dispatched, it is out of our hands and we do rely on the couriers to make the delivery. We always aim to resolve any delivery issues by offering either a resend or a refund. In your case, as the case was raised by PayPal, a refund was issued immediately.
We are genuinely sorry that your cream tea hamper did not arrive in time for your planned celebration, and we completely understand how upsetting this must have been for your anniversary plans. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to look at ways to improve our service.

I was super excited about a gluten free…
I was super excited about a gluten free cream tea and pasty hamper for my uncle who’s coeliac but there was no cream with the cream tea and I haven’t had a response to my email to follow up. Really sad. He really enjoyed it though so it’s not the baking we’re disappointed in.

Golden Wedding memories
This site is easy to use in every way. Good choice, great value especially with 10% discount, easy payment and free next day delivery. Lovely little gift card, not just a slip of paper which can be overlooked. I bought this for a Golden Wedding couple who, at the last minute, were unable to get away as planned due to illness. They used to spend every holiday in Devon, so here was a taste of nostalgia. This little treat really made their day, they were thrilled. The hamper for one to share was perfect for an older couple while reminiscing over their wedding album!

Grest scone
For a Gluten free scone it was very good. The pasty was tasty and a great change to have a gluten free option although the crimping was a bit thick. The jam and cream were very generous.
