The place was extremely nice, clean, quiet in a really good location. The management service was VERY professional and helpful when we had a couple of questions. The coffee station was modern, clean and looked extremely inviting, though we didn't use it. The room was a nice size. The only MINOR issues were that the bed was VERY soft (we prefer a firmer mattress) and the wooden frame around the bed stuck out a bit which made it a stubbing and tripping hazard (especially in the dark). The Air conditioner didn't cool the room sufficiently for my girlfriend and it took us a while to figure out that the power for the ceiling fan was at the door. Also minor, the toilet continued to flow after flushed, and required a little extra push on the button to stop it. A paved walkway would have been nice, but NOT a showstopper.

Room was small but very neat and clean with walking distance to restaurants

The room is small. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in it. The face sink could have been bigger. It would have been nice to have facial tissue in it. The smell of the property was not great at all, but supposedly it is what you get when you are in a great location of Galveston Island where the cruise terminals are…

We were very disappointed in the room. It was so small and cramped. I am 6’2” with size 15 shoes and I could not get out of the bed on the wall side. My wife slept on that side and got lots of bruises from the sharp edges on the bed. The cost of the room seemed very high ($150) compared to a Motel 6 ($85). We won’t ever stay here again.

It was a very nice and comfortable place to stay. We had an early morning flight and check in was in the afternoon. I appreciated that they allowed us to store our luggage at 11:00. We was able to go explore the area and come back to check in later.

Check in was a bit of a mess, but got resolved somewhat quickly
Upon finally getting into our room there were tiny bugs on our bed as well as stains on the blankets and sheets.
The air conditioner NEVER worked. So it was miserable inside the room. They did.say they were contacting a handyman but never gave any update. Unit was not working when we left the room this morning

Fell in love with this place. It's unexpectedly cozy and it's not a chain and I loved that as well. We'll be back!!

I knew this would be a small room, but I really needed a few more square inches to put my shaving stuff and toothbrush. It was tight. There's really nothing you can do about that. Otherwise it suited my needs for a one night stay.

Very clean, well located, and comfortable. We very much appreciated that they stored our bags until check in time as we arrived early. Walking distance to downtown and to cruise ports. CVS was a bit further but still walking distance for us. Happily returning end of next month.

Room could have smelled a little fresher. Bathroom very faint order. Small free shampoo had been opened and not quite full. Usually have good coffee, but this visit just flavored coffee and lots of tea.

You definitely get what you pay for. This is strictly NO FRILLS, a bed and a bathroom. But for the length of time I was there it served my purpose.

Easy and simple. Nice little place. What I can say room #2 gets ice cold. Could hang meat in there. Loved it ❤️ 😍 perfect for a night before a cruise.

I think showing pictures accurate to the room we’re staying in would’ve been nice, it was smaller/different from what we originally thought! it was cute and quiet for a shared place, and i loved the way check in/security was! the technology is great. the only issue we had was thinking the towels we had were dirty when in reality they were probably just clean but stained. great host took care of resending a confirmation email & providing new towels at late notice! for a place to stay right next to the dock area & cheaper than most places in Galveston, it was worth it!

This is a hidden gem, perfect for a night waiting for the cruise to start

I will back love it!!!!- the only thing I can say that if you have any back problems the bed is too soft and that’s not a bad thing- but that’s the only thing it needs to be a little bit firmer- Thanks

No signage outside.
Building looks run down.
At first we were reluctant to even go in for fear it was some kind of scam. The room is super small. The bathroom is super small. Half a size pedestal sink with a tiny little mirror. The bed is super small. No large mirror. Main light fixture did not have working light bulbs.
Insufficient window treatments.
Liked the self check in and out of the hotel.
Coffee tasted great. Otherwise way to expensive for what it offers in terms of amenities.

I have stayed at this property before and it did not disappoint. It’s very quaint and has so much European charm. The room was nice and cool and I had the best night of sleep I’ve had in quite some time. Will stay again for sure!
