Very professional treatment, excellent experience, amazingly friendly staff

From the very first contact with my online consultant Eddie until the drop off at the airport, this clinic is top notch in choosing all of their employees.
Every single person I have come in contact with was incredibly friendly, absolutely professional and an expert in their field. All of the doctors are not only super friendly but also specialist in their field, very good at explaining what they're doing, and incredibly empathetic. They make sure that the patients don't feel pain and feel safe and relaxed during the treatment.
All the other medical staff, nurses, translators, photographer, receptionists, cleaning staff, really EVERYONE were also super attentive, always checking in, and also so welcoming and friendly.
And the results were beyond what I could have dreamed of and I can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking to get dental work done. I would always choose Dentakay again, and if I could give more stars, I would!
Thank you again to every single person that I interacted with, you're all doing such an incredible job and have made my life so much better!

I had a very good experience at…

I had a very good experience at Dentakay Dental Clinic. I was honestly surprised by the results they exceeded my expectations. The same treatment would have cost me around $75,000 in California, but Dentakay was much more affordable. The staff were friendly, professional, and very pleasant to work with. I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my visit. Highly recommend!

I cannot find my old review on here so was going to give an update.My date of travel was October 2024. I’m going through the Ombudsman to get my £4150 back. They placed my implants incorrectly, not flush with the jaw as where they should be. I ended up some type of infection in my bottom right. All this came ahead as I completed my journey at a different clinic. The reason I changed clinics was there was really no contact help from dentakay, I was worried about the costs, was told I would need 10days for my treatment, which I thought would be covered in my second phase payment. Only to find out later on oh we only cover 7 days and you have to pay €95 a day for the other 3, this was no made clear to me at all until I query why my ticket says 10 days but WhatsApp messages mention 7days. We looking at an extra €285 im supposed to magically find. I already had a ticket for my second journey which was purchased on my final day there. So i decided to visit another clinic in which they told me the implants have been placed further back. So i can have them fully redone or have some angled multi abutments I think that’s what they are called so my teeth are angled forward. The new clinic told me they had no reason to do this, even people at the hotel I was in saw my implants and said why they do further back. I messaged dentakay told them about the issues send them a letter from the other clinic also a video of the scan showing the implants incorrectly placed. Told them an implant had to be removed and two natural teeth. All to be basically told you need to post the implant back and we will pay you for the implant. I started my journey with dentakay in October 2023.

Also to add they booked the ticket for my return journey. Yet not able a not once did they contact me asking are you coming to Turkey oh are you even in the country.

Well asked them about this. It’s my responsibility to contact them not there responsibility to contact me.

So in turn I beg you go elsewhere. I have all my letters so this is not a fake review.

I would like to respond to the points raised in Dentakay’s reply.

Regarding the second clinical opinion:
My concerns are not based on opinion alone. I sought an independent clinical assessment due to ongoing problems following treatment. This included imaging, and I was advised that the implants had been placed further back and not flush with the jaw as expected, with corrective work required. I provided Dentakay with written correspondence from the second clinic and video evidence of the scan.

Regarding assessment and aftercare:
I was not asked to return to Turkey for a clinical assessment. I was asked to post the implant back, with the suggestion that I would be paid for it. No practical plan was offered for in-person clinical assessment or management of the complications I was experiencing.

Regarding consent and satisfaction at the time of treatment:
Consent and satisfaction were given based on the information available at the time. Complications and concerns arose after treatment was completed. Signing consent does not negate later-emerging problems or remove the need for appropriate aftercare.

Regarding warranty and follow-up:
While reference is made to a warranty, no realistic or practical aftercare pathway was offered to manage my situation from abroad. Being advised to post an implant back did not address the clinical issues I was experiencing.

Regarding accommodation and travel:
I was informed that my stay would require 10 days, only to later be told that only 7 days were covered and that I would need to pay €95 per day for the remaining days. This was not clearly communicated upfront and only became apparent after I queried conflicting information.

My review reflects my personal experience, the issues I encountered following treatment, and the lack of a practical resolution offered. I have retained all correspondence, scans, and supporting documentation.

First, regarding the medical opinion you received elsewhere:
A diagnosis or conclusion made by another clinic does not automatically mean that the original treatment was incorrect. Implant positioning can vary depending on bone anatomy, surgical planning, and prosthetic strategy. Techniques such as posterior placement or the use of angled abutments are recognized and accepted medical approaches when clinically indicated. Without a direct clinical examination by our medical team, it is not medically appropriate to conclude that the treatment performed at our clinic was faulty. Our doctors are qualified specialists, and their treatment decisions were made based on your clinical condition at the time.

When you attended our clinic, a full clinical examination was performed, and your treatment plan was explained and approved by you before proceeding. You confirmed your agreement by signature and expressed satisfaction upon completion of the treatment.

Regarding communication and follow-up:
You were informed that you have a valid warranty, and our team remained available to assess and address any concerns directly at our clinic. While we understand your concerns about costs and travel, medical complications must be evaluated clinically by the treating provider in order to be properly managed under warranty. Choosing to continue treatment at another clinic before allowing us to assess the situation limited our ability to intervene medically.

Concerning accommodation and travel:
As a gesture of goodwill, we offered accommodation and contributed $250 toward your flight, despite these not being standard inclusions for all patients. Additional stay beyond the agreed period is not covered, and you were satisfied with the arrangements at that time.


We regret that you felt unsupported; however, we respectfully disagree with the claim that no assistance was provided. Our team acted transparently, professionally, and in line with our policies and medical responsibilities.

Our priority has always been, and remains, our patients’ health and well-being. We stand by the work of our medical team and remain available should you wish to proceed through the appropriate clinical and warranty channels.

Make sure you know what hotel your booked in before going as quality hotel not all inclusive

I had a review but can't see it
After many months im still having talks not about my dentist treatment which im absolutely delighted with . But the 2nd hotel I was put in wasnt what was promised

The 1st was the falcon which was better than expectations. But then the quality gold i was put in on my 2nd visit didnt enjoy 1 bit .
Wasn't all inclusive onky full board but if I wanted eggs in the morning I would have to pay extra every time I got a soft drink the barman had to ring reception to check. Its a ok hotel but not all inclusive. Even the manager said its not all inclusive but dantakay customer care says it is

The best choice of my life

The best choice of my life, so far.
In the beginning a little apprehensive, but when I entered the plane, all gone I felt real and after the transfer, the accomodation, the 1° day in clinic was excellent, the staff support was very good, doctors are excellent, treatment pain free, and until now after 4 days all great.
I need to make 2 visit, because was a ruff case (all mouth) but I can say for now, a excellent service and care.

Smiling again

After being quoted upwards of £30,000 to have my teeth sorted in the uk I opted for Dentakay. Needless to say the overall cost was much cheaper and the service was genuinely nothing short of fantastic.
I needed 7/8 teeth removed initially, did not feel a single drop of pain as the surgeons ensured my mouth was numb. After 4 days I had a complete new set of teeth in my upper mouth and they look so natural. After 15 years of horrible teeth I finally feel comfortable smiling again!

Dentakay were brilliant throughout, from the flights to the hotel which was stunning also.

The professional approach was great

The professional approach to patient care and the communication, to an extent, is wonderful, I do think there should definitely be more English spoken I felt like I was almost in the way at times which is a shame, when you see how excellent everything else was. My dental surgeon took a rather heated phone call half way through my final fitting and the work after that was tense to say the least! My other negative is the huge price hike, with no breakdown of the cost of why🤷🏼‍♂️ I had one jaw in the main worked on and that cost me almost double what I was quoted for both jaws to be worked on🤷🏼‍♂️ a when I asked how much it would cost for the bottom jaw and the rest of the work to be finish (2nd visit) the lady told me, “I’m not good at numbers!”😳 but then almost demanded I commit to the second visit without the full facts in front of me🥴 would you buy a car without knowing how fast it goes or what fuel it takes? Don’t get me wrong except for those few things they were extremely competent, and would hope these concerns are taken in good faith I’d love to get the rest of the work finished there. The accommodation was wonderful they were so helpful and the food was great my half a smile is superb 😬

Absolutely shocking communications with…

Absolutely shocking communications with their public facing customer service people. I was honest and said I’m shopping around for quotes and have over all information, nae age meds etc along with what I need (sinus lift) and wha I wanted (all on 4-5) and what I got was a quote of over £14k for 5 single implants.

Whilst waiting for quotes I was badgered by these lot continuously at all times via msg and calls even after telling several
Times I will not be taking calls.

Then, after politely saying I with not be using the company I got an insulting msg starting, with all due respect, (back up dipstick) and continued with a telling off saying I should be putting price before my health etc. wouldn’t mind but thy haven’t a clue who I am going with and besides that, I’ve probably got more qualifications in dentistry then the person talking to me s, with all due respect, get over yourselves I’m not an idiot and know what to do when seeking private surgical work in a country the people still wipe their arse with their hands thank you.

I am sharing my experience so that future patients can make an informed decision.

I travelled from London to Istanbul for dental treatment at this clinic. Shortly after returning to the UK, I began experiencing problems with my front teeth, including what felt like air inside the work. I contacted the clinic and had to insist strongly to be seen again the following year.

During my return visit, I was told that everything was fine and that the issue was “in my mind,” despite my ongoing discomfort. This required me to spend additional money on flights and accommodation.

Two years later, my concerns were unfortunately proven correct when the front dental work failed and came out one evening. I contacted the clinic again in October to report this serious issue. I was told some one from after care department would contact me, but as of December, I have received no response at all.

I have since had to pay for corrective treatment in the UK.

I would also like to mention that while at the clinic, patients are encouraged to leave positive reviews on the spot, in front of staff, which does not allow time to assess the long-term quality of the work.

I am very disappointed with the lack of accountability, follow-up, and communication. I would advise anyone considering treatment abroad to carefully weigh the risks and ensure they have strong aftercare and written guarantees.

Our medical team has carefully reviewed your file. Please note that an exact diagnosis cannot be made without a clinical examination. While all necessary procedures were properly carried out at the time of your treatment, certain dental issues may arise over time and cannot always be predicted or prevented, even with appropriate care and professional standards.

Following your initial concerns, you were invited back for a clinical evaluation in 2024. During this visit, no pathological findings were identified. Minor modifications were performed, an occlusion check was completed, X-rays were taken, and all results were satisfactory. You left the clinic expressing satisfaction with the outcome. Unfortunately, some conditions may only become apparent later, despite appearing clinically stable at the time of examination.

After you contacted us again in 2025, we advised that a current clinical assessment and updated X-rays were essential to accurately evaluate your present condition. As you informed us that you were unable to visit the clinic at that time, we recommended consulting a local dentist and sharing the imaging with us so our medical team could provide more precise guidance. To date, the requested diagnostic materials have not been received.

We would also like to clarify that your treatment is covered by a valid warranty, which entitles you to check-up appointments at our clinic at any time during the warranty period. Should any issue related to the treatment be identified, it would be addressed at no additional dental cost, in accordance with the warranty terms.

Regarding feedback requests at the clinic, patients are always free to share their opinions voluntarily. Reviews are never mandatory, and patients are not restricted from updating or modifying their feedback in the future based on their long-term experience.

Got the result I had wished for

I had a great experience from start to finish, everything was communicated well throughout the online process, Tony was excellent & all the other staff were all very professional, helpful & friendly when I arrived daily. The clinic is super clean, sophisticated and with all the right technology. My initial telephone consultation plan was changed as expected following x-rays and the expert guidance given to ensure I would the receive the best possible result, I am happy to say that I certainly did. Been such a great experience from…start

Been such a great experience from beginning to the end, all staff helped me, leaving me at ease, Becky was an great in making all. Of this possible from booking flights and all arrangements, from the moment I walked in was presented to main Doctor Gulay she was amazing analyzing my situation, doctor Abdulah did my crowns so amazingly, doctor Osman was great with my roots canal and Doctor Turham amazing surgery made me feel at ease where i had no pain at all.
The staff were so great regarding my well-being and made feel so welcomed, Shahid, Sena, Alonso, Abdul Karim, Mouhamet, Adullah, helped me so much in every way possible, I could not fault this experience and journey in any way, THANK YOU DENTAKAY for giving my confidence in smiling again.

My positive experience

I’ve have been to Denta Kay for both treatments now and have loved every second of it had no pain both times and was terrified but I was to ease both times.
Every member of staff are second to none very professional in every way I will miss every one so much cannot wait to come back and see every one for my check up next year 2026 thanks again Denta Kay you truly are amazing

So far so excellent

In the middle of treatment so far, but I have to say I'm impressed with every aspect. High tech from the start. Full 360⁰ degree scans and 3D impressions taken without alginate all electronic. Constant checking on every aspect of treatment including all your transfers to and from the clinic would definitely recommend

Stephen, follow up review.

I have been home around a month now, I'm loving my new smile and I have no negative issues at all. I had 4 extractions, 5 root canals, gingivectomy, 4 lower front teeth pulled forward and aligned, and finished off with 27 high quality bridged crowns. The atmosphere, the staff and the service was all 5* and I could not be happier with the outcome. Each case is different and they will definitely work out what's best for you. The price was fair on both of the two options offered to me considering the amount of work completed and I was refunded the cost of work that didn't need to be done after the original consultation quote. Please don't overlook Dentakay when considering your options. They will not let you down. Great company and great people. Very happy customer!
