Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the company's subscription practices, reporting billing discrepancies and challenges with the cancellation process. Customers frequently encountered issues with refunds, as the company often refused requests or offered alternative solutions like extended access instead of money back. The app itself also received criticism for its content quality and functionality, with some finding it boring or buggy. Additionally, many people experienced problems with payments, including unexpected charges and a lack of transparency regarding billing. Reviewers also expressed frustration with customer service, describing it as unresponsive and unhelpful when trying to resolve these issues. However, some customers also noted positive aspects, such as the app's ability to motivate users and its well-made interface. A few other people also felt that the customer care was fast and kind, and some successfully received refunds when they contacted support.

Sneaky renewal 'terms'.

Sneaky renewal 'terms'.

Signed up for a trial which I barely used and without any notice they took the next quarter from my account.
Asked them for a refund and they said they wouldn't as i 'agreed' to thier terms, where as most app's will give you a heads up the payment is coming up.
Poor practice IMO.

Straight-up fraudulent website. Avoid at all costs.

My wife signed up for this website under the 30-day money back guarantee. She quickly realized that she didn't like it, and went to cancel the trial. She was directed to a page that made no mention of a refund, and she didn't get a refund.

We contacted the website, and get this, you're only eligible for a refund if you use the service for 5 days and read 25 chapters.

Their website is also a master class in dark patterns, including the button being placed outside the bottom of the screen on all our devices, so that you have to do a big swipe and quickly tap the cancel button before it disappears again.

We had paid with PayPal, and have requested a chargeback. Hopefully it goes through.

I'm just here to warn people. It doesn't even matter if the website's product is any good. This is being run like a scam through and through.

Avoid at all costs.

NO TRANSPARENCY

I hate it when they get you to go through a long account setting up asking information and preferences of all kinds and only then, at the very end, you find out you have to pay. Zero respect for the user's time, they never advertised as a paid for app so I had no clue, but this made me understand a lot about the "company"

Renewed my annual plan without notice…

Renewed my annual plan without notice and quietly doubled the fee (€49.98 → €102). Support hides behind boiler-plate, AI-generated emails and refuses to show any proof that a renewal reminder was ever delivered. Their “solution”? A half refund and 24 months of “free” access— laughable given the app hasn’t added fresh ideas in ages and most “insights” are just low-quality AI summaries. No transparency, no real customer care. Deepstash? More like Deep Trash. One star until they respect consumer law and their own users

Company charged me 2 years in a row after I deleted my account

A year ago this company charged me AFTER I have deleted my account as I did not find it useful. The company still charged me even though ALL my account details should have been removed.

But a year later (start of 2025) they charged me again!!! They kept all my payment data and charged me. I wonder how many other people like myself are there that this company is extracting money from?

Both times I have reached out to them to refund my the money and they did, but had 0 reaction, not even an apology. After the second time they charged me I sent them an official GDPR request to delete all my data and present me with the proof of deletion and they ignored it too - I will be reporting them to the officials.
