Turning up here as maybe that will get things done. I had water damage in my appartment for around a year and I tried to follow-up with Deas on a monthly/bi-monthly basis to see how things are progressing and when I can expect this issues to be fixed. Every time I call the service number they tell me they will look into it. They are looking into it for a year now with no success whatsoever. Water damage is a common problem in the building with other appartments having bigger problems. The water is leaking in various places, such as the bike basement. Not really any intention from DEAS to see things done successfully, it’s just a business.
Edit after "inspection": So, the inspection was scheduled at 13:30 but the VVS person came at 9 and knocked at all doors. He came in, took a picture of the pipes and that was it. The inspection is far from "throughout" and can only be described as superficial. I communicated with the VVS guy that this is not the only problem, the balcony is leaking from above and the bulch on the ceiling, and he replied that "it is another guy". In the communication they wrote initially they will look at balconies too. None of that happened. So in the end, he took the picture, and called it a day, once again. There is 0 level of accountability, and it provides 0 trust in this company. I would give - ratings if I could.

The building looks dirty and abandoned. Problem solving is a challenge.

Where you should I start? With the multiple 'illegal' rent increases? or with invoice DEAS want's to charge us on top of our deposit? The inkasso lawyers contacting us despite our formal objection and the case being handled in 'huslejeklagenævnet'?
No, let's start very simple. When we moved in we had to pay 500 DKK as part of the moving in fee for a gold nameplate on our door. Specified in our contract. OK, DEAS probably would like to keep their property looking good fine with us. Gold plate never arrived, and upon moving out we kindly ask DEAS that they would offset this fee to our renovation costs, since we never got it. Do you think DEAS would think that would be fair? No, they strongly believe that they are entitled to that amount despite not delivering the service for it. So here we go.
Earlier in our rental period we saw multiple increases, and DEAS might have gotten a bit confused sending us two rent increases within 3 months, which they by law could not do. We objected and they agreed that this was a mistake. Would you be surprised that they in the end anyways tried to charge the full extra rent? Not really. Maybe because they already had acknowledged that they were in the wrong earlier, we got our rent set to the original increased amount. So far so good.
2.5 years after moving in we are then moving out. Moving in inspection from DEAS = 0.5 hours. Moving out inspection 1.5 hours. Inspector had not bothered to read the moving in report, so he wasted quite some time point out things that were already noted in the moving in report. However, the appartment at the end just needed paint had the floors lightly sanded. 88 sqm = +50.000 DKK (and more than our deposit for no extra works).
DEAS gathered the cost of all of this based on 'offers' not actual invoices. DEAS insists that we pay a diff to them of about 7k, and while we have been able to obtain 3 offers from recognized painters with a variance from 47%-84% to the paint offer DEAS obtained, DEAS refuses to budge - and we are now 10 months after moving out wasting our time, and their legal teams time going back and forth in Huslejeklagenævnet.
Oh, while we tried to have a conversation with DEAS about this, we suggested 6 timings for a phone call with the property administrator. Who 'unfortunately' wasn't available for the call at any of the times, and could come back with one specific 30 minute slot where she would be available. Coincidence?
So are you looking to live in a DEAS managed property, then I of course recommend to avoid it.
If you are already living there or are desperate. Here is a few advice:
- Document everything (Pictures, if you have less than 100 when moving in you haven't done enough)
- Don't be nice - be meticulous (they are obviously not your friend)
- Double check your rent, increases etc. they don't seem to know what they are doing.
Having a worst experienced
Decided to away from its territory

As an Expat avoid this company. Went to multiple viewings, told them there that we would love the apartment, was then told to reply to the messages on their website to confirm. Zero updates, zero communication. We have a young child with us and trying to use this company to find accommodation is not advised, no help and no professionalism.

The worst answer times, only interested in taking money, zero customer service. Cannot get my deposit and prepaid monthly rent back, been trying to call for three days, for hours each day, from the first minute they open.

Terrible administrators of residential properties. They will do anything in their power to overcharge and fine you, including raising rental prices after they accidentally reveal that the normal rent is 20 percent lower, than what they ask. They do absolute bare minimum when it comes to maintaining and cleaning their properties, and everything in the apartment is made to look good even when the built-ins don't stick to the wall and there's a rampant moth infections in the whole ventilation system.
I wasn't going to publicly share this, but then they had the audacity to contact me more than A YEAR after moving out to let me know that I owe them less than 1 DKK and even to require a 200 DKK fine for that. In spite of verbally being told that this has been annulled more than a year ago.... Jesus Christ.
Avoid at all cost!!! Glad that a few of my friends that is considering to move backed up from here after hearing my story.
Moved in in March and everything is fine. Then when April came, knocking noise came from my fridge and they sent someone over. The problem is fixed only for a week then it came back. Sent complaint and they insisted that the problem was already fixed. Sent them more proof with videos that it is not fixed, took them 3 week to 1 month to reply one single email. When I ask for updates, they just ignored it.
Sent them more emails and proofs, they replied 'we are looking further and will get back to you asap'. One month gone, no updates. Could not get any sleep because the noise came randomly even in midnight.
Called the customer service and asked for updates today and the answer they gave was absolutely comedy. They insisted that it is back to normal since the technician came and fixed it. I asked him back if it is normal if the noise it makes was loud until you can't fall asleep and his answer was ' it is very subjective, if you have good hearing then it will be an issue'. Could hear that he is annoyed when I was not satisfied and trying to push the blame on 'my hearing'. The way he talked to me was like I never used a fridge in my life before.
If it had gone back to 'normal' the fridge should perform like when it was in march instead of making noises. Even when the caretaker first came to have a look back in April, he also mentioned it is not normal and it was his first time hearing this sound.

Beware of this company, basically legal scammers. They kept sending me bills of missing payment even though I did pay. Forgot about getting your deposit no matter what. They send me electricity bill at after moving away even though i had electricity on myself from nrgi. Somehow I had to pay almost 300e extra on heating and now 1,5 year after leaving I got water bill with 220e, (from techem, another crooks if you check reviews) when I checked water bill there are somehow 2 addresses on it, im charged twice 100e for moving out and my water consumption for half year is same as was previously for whole year.
Just crooks who will try to take money from you by any means + if you compare prices of rent with others you see its overpriced pretty badly.
If you have any other option dont rent from them, save yourself money, troubles and arguments

The Worst experience. Lacks professionalism to 0. I lived in a apartment and vacated 2 years back. The final statement was setteled for all expenses. I have been receiving invoices multiple times with some in accurate statement with no actual information on why the invoice is sent after all final settlements are complete. In addition they are charging DKK 100 additional as reminder fee when the first invoice never reached me.
It was not once, over multiple times same error and they just apologize and repeat it.
Expect a bit maturity and professionalism which is lacking at the core. Their phone lines and customer service is pathetic that you can never reach the actual person.

Worst company, don’t rent from them!! Bad communication, unclear rules, super high rental prices, worst customer service!! I asked for a paper to be sent to me by email they asked for 400DKK price to re-send even it was sent to my partner and not to me while we are both signed on the contract!
Update! They replied to my review here more than 2 weeks ago saying that my property agent will contact me, but nobody contacted me at all!

We had an issue where our property owner uses DEAS for administration, in this specific problem they have made it unable for us to receive rent invoice be standard mail and we couldn't get hold of anyone for a good period of time. This exact issue followed the next month, where we were ping-ponged between different people and because of that it resulted in fee as we paid a rent few days later.
They are bot helpful when it comes to real issues and not understanding of personal situation, not try to resolve it in nice manner.
Will try to avoid living in the complex maintained by them.

Bad customer support with hours of que. We put in a early date to move out of the apartment, so we don't need to pay rent more than necessary. We get no mail or anything regarding the inspection and get a late date for this. When meeting the guy who inspects the apartment he tells us he did now that we wanted to move out eelier. However, they did deliberately book time for the inspection late.
Now we have moved out and we are even after 3 months they take money for rent automatically - and that is after we have moved out even though we have paid 2 months in advance as well. It's been 2 months and they have not returned with the deposit, no answers on mails or phone call.
They are cheating deliberately It feels like. But I can see we are not the only one having those issues.

Everything Broken , No Support, you have to stay behind the line for so long only to hear that DEAS does not support you and tell you to send an email which takes months to get replied. Project Radio seems nice before you get it, but bad management of DEAS has turn it into hell.

When I saw the apartment before I moved in there was a clipped corner in the freezer cabinetry and one in one of the wardrobes. The agent showing me the apartment, who was very helpful, told me that it was nothing and that they would be fixed before I moved in, this never happened. I mention this to emphasise how poor and overpriced the service was.
The build quality for my apartment in Åparken was ok, although there were some lines on the wall from a sloppy paint job and some paint marks on the big window.
In the move out inspection a completely incompetent, useless and very conveniently naive inspector came to make the move out inspection. That is when the scamming started, he started giving me a list of "defects", one of them was that the entire cabinetry and paint-job in the bathroom had to be redone, due to humidity issues...When I asked what are the implications going to be in the cost, he said "I don't know, I am here to do my job and this is give a list, this is standard procedure”.
So in the end a list was presented to me, one wall on the bedroom has a stain from furniture touching to it, the whole room has to be repainted. I asked whether this is standard and the answer I received is yes, saying again that he is not aware of any cost implications.
Three weeks later I got a bill of repairs of 30.000 DKK and the deposit I had payed was 20.000 DKK. 15.000 DKK for painting a 50 sqm apartment.. 5.000 DKK for "appliances", although the only "fault" presented to me was an oil mark on the stove surface, something that was there beforehand might I say, so they charged me for replacing a stovetop for something that could be fixed with a wet wipe. Absolutely calculated predatory, scam. They could at least be honest and charge for a higher deposit or, I don't know, actually repair the apartment properly from the previous tenant.
I have lived in 6 different apartments in my life and have never experienced anything like this. Misleading foreigner scam at a whole new level. They just burned though my hard earned income for the deposit and then asked for 10.000 DKK on top through scam and targeted misleadment, robbery!!!!
STAY AWAY at all costs!!

THEY ARE SCAMMERS - Stay away from this company! Every aspect about this company is the worst ever.
Communication is the worst - they couldn’t care less about you, sitting in their expensive chairs earning thousands and have the softest and weakest work ethic I’ve seen.
They didn’t send us any info about our deposit even 4 MONTHS AFTER we were moved out and we were for MONTHS calling and trying to contact them (going through at least 8 PEOPLE who all said they can’t help or that they will help but then disappeared). In the end they sent us a note that out of the 60 000 deposit we paid we get NOTHING back and have to pay ourselves MORE because of some pointless works they “did” (probably lying about that). Although we left the apartment in a perfect shape. They are scammers and want to rob us out of money + they’re robots and don’t care about you on a human level, so don’t bother trying - STAY AWAY and make your life better! Cheers!
