Where have they gone with my money?

Like the majority of people that have left feedback on this company, I am also a victim of this company taking my bike to sell for me but then it being “stolen” in a break in at the shop.

I have been trying for month to get hold of them to speak with someone about how I can get the money I’m owed or my bike back (which has been “stolen” so it won’t be that option). The last communication I had with them was towards the end of May when I spoke with a David Tabinor who confirmed to me that my bike had been stolen in a break in and that has been identified on their spreadsheet. I queried why no one had contacted me to inform me of this and he could give no reason. He did confirm though the their finance person was looking at getting the money I’m owed back to me via a bank transfer. After not receiving it, I contacted them again and David said he would chase this for me, a few more days had passed with no money going into my account. Trying to contact them then the phone line was out of hours despite it being the middle of the day. I emailed them and asking for a call back or an update but noting apart from an email confirming that they are not receiving bike anymore, this was around the middle of June.

Since then I have been unsuccessful in getting in contact with anyone and have not had time to chase further for the last 8 week following the birth of my first child. I am in a position now where I don’t know what to do and how to go about getting my money back. It would be interesting if Anthony Jones or Amiee Gatliffe who have had similar issue and have posted on here could get in touch through some method (social media etc.) to share what they are doing to trying and get their money back.

I had good faith in this company at the start and everything went smoothly, everything was agreed and the bike was up for sale and then I heard nothing from them for months. It’s shocking that they have treated customers like this as they wouldn’t like to be treated like it as an Organisation.

Talking Crap

I had a reply from cycleswitch on my last review saying "I understand that all bikes received for processing were being returned", providing a contact email for communicating, what a load of crap!!

I emailed the owner asking for my bike back and had an auto reply to say that they were currently on holiday and would be back on the 6/7/18.
Since then I have had no reply concerning my bike.

The replies from Cycleswitch are just an attempt to make reveiwers think that they are trying to sort the problem out, do not be fooled its a load of crap.

I am one of a group of individuals trying to get our bikes back, none of us have. We are now all in contact with each other, gathering information and taking action against Cycleswitch through the Police, Action Fraud, Trading Standards and other routes as I believe my bike has been stolen by this company.

Need to take action!!

My review of this company is “do not use it”. We sent bikes in that went missing presumed stolen. We are pursuing cycleswitch along with many other customers. Terrible customer service from the start to finish. If you want to give your bike away or be ripped off then cycleswitch is the company for you!!

Louise and Tony please report to Action Fraud and add to your complaint that you are one of 3 that you know of that have had their bike stolen. It will add weight to a criminal case. There is also a guy I found on Facebook who has paid £400 deposit for an item he hasn’t received, they’re not responding to him. I’ve been in touch with a local journalist that wrote a positive story about them last November, asking them to report on this turn of events. I won’t give up on this one.

Non payment for bicycle!!!!!!!

Like Aimee and Louise I sent my bike to cycleswitch for an agreed price over a month ago. Since then I have tried on numerous occasions to contact the company and have been ignored. To date I have received no payment or the return of my bike. I am now considering taking further action. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Tony

Replacement wheels

Needed some replacement wheels as my wheel bearings had worn out. Found these guys who found replacements at a great price and delivered them the next day. Absolutely superb service and quality of wheels. I am one very chuffed customer and will use CycleSwitch again, weel done.

Excellent

Excellent customer service with our new mountain bike. Great communication, Harry was a pleasure, always quick to return calls or emails and answered all our questions on sizing, finishing kit, warranty etc. Delivery was fast, arrived on the day promised, and it was very well packaged with plenty of protective foam on the frame.The bike itself was exactly as described, well built and set up tubeless. All this at a fantastic price. Overall - could not be happier.

Excellent team and great products

For me this company is the blueprint on how you sell bikes. Fill the business with talent that understand their products inside and out and provide the best customer services!

Bike was delivered on time they promised. Had a few issues when I got it with things loose would high advise taking this for a look over at your local bike shop. On that note they did replace parts that I required a few weeks after the warranty period.

Cycle Switch

First time customer using Cycle Switch although they trade under the name UK Cycle Centre Ltd.

I placed my order on the 15/10/2017 through their website, first impressions were overall good, I received my confirmation email with the statement delivery within 48-72hrs.

I decided to phone the company on the 16/10/2017 using the only number they provide on their website just to double check they received my order and to ask when I will receive my order. I spoke to a young man whop confirmed it will be packaged up on the Tuesday and I will receive my delivery on the Wednesday the 18/10/2017 which would be within the window they stated on the website.

As I was told by the young man working for Cycle Switch that my delivery was arriving Wednesday I decided to stay at the house. It reached 3:30pm, I decided to phone the same number I had phoned on the Monday just to confirm that it was on its way only to be told it hadn’t even left their warehouse.

I asked to speak to the manager on duty which happened to be one of the 2 owners Adam Broadhurst. I explained the situation and to start with he didn’t want to take responsibility for the late delivery, I explained that I had spoken to someone Monday saying that it would be delivered today and he then went on to say that I shouldn’t od listened to him and that it was my fault as I shouldn’t have waited at home.

I think I am being rather normal, if you have verbal confirmation from the company you have spent £1300 with and told it will be delivered on a date, you would wait at home to take delivery. The owner Adam Broadhurst expressed the stupidity of that as my answer and that again it was not there responsibly and definitely not their problem as they are changing warehouses. He actually came across arrogant, unprofessional and badly trained to deal with such problems.

Adam did however offer me some freebies as a bribe to ensure I write a positive review and not to damage their current reputation but thankfully I prefer to share the truth so that this doesn’t happen to another customer. I have spent a fair amount of time thinking of how to write this review so that it captures the truth and feel that I have been more than honest in the review.

To conclude first impressions are good but I would not trust them in the future to deliver dust caps.

This is the worse place i have ever …

This is the worse place i have ever bought a bike item off after purchasing a chain guide i wonder why it has not turned up after 3 weeks so i call them asking and they say if out of stock sorry a very rude man he said they had emailed me to tell me this but it checked and they hadn't so i asked for a refund and they said they would refund it straight away and now im hear 12 hours later with no refund. I am very disappointed but it thought I'd check to see if they had put if out of stock on there web site and they haven't avoid this seller.
