I’ve relied on CVS for my prescriptions, but this recent experience was shocking. The app said I needed pre-authorization, but my doctor confirmed there wasn’t any issue. When I called the pharmacy, t... See more

This is an update to my recent…

This is an update to my recent communication with you on 8/31/21. I looked in my CVS portal yesterday and my recent order history was missing my Alendronate refill request. It only lists my last refill date of 6/7/21. I Called CVS Pharmacy in Show Low, AZ and was told they have never received a refill order from my doctor. I notified my doctor. They are very upset and are looking into this matter. I drove the 30 miles round trip to CVS Pharmacy in Show Low yesterday and pick up two other medications. When I asked why I was told on the phone 8/31 that they would call my doctor and call me back. Then got no call. She had no response other than, "I'm sorry." I take an Alendronate tab weekly. I was due for one today but due to this extreme poor service, since 8/21/2, I do not have my medication as of 9/9/21. I give up!

Since they installed the automatic checkout machines, the service has gone way downhill. There is never a clerk at checkout. The customer has to go look for one. Then, if you can find a clerk they act like it's a real imposition to do their job. They end up having to stand there and tell people how to work the self service machines, so no time is saved. I wonder what they are doing when they are, wherever they are.

CVS Pharmacy in Serra Mesa...

We have been with them for over 20+ years and although all the pharmacy Help is fairly bad, many error's, the Pharmacist, MATT in store #8833 in serra Mesa is number One . We gave him a solid 5 stars, and would give him more if could. He is very nice, very patient, helpful and so is Carrie. We love you Matt and Carrie! Chris & Dianna Rottner

No clean protection

Went into my local CVS for a covid vaccine. The pharmacist was wearing gloves, while using the computer, handling phone inquiries and preparing med. orders (never changing, but I guess to protect herself from pathogens?). She came out from behind the counter, to give me my shot (never changing gloves or washing her hands). As she was preparing my vaccine, I had to ask her to change her gloves (which she did), but as a registered nurse, i KNOW that this type of glove abuse is how things are quickly spread--and gives users a false sense (& misplaced) sense of protection. I think a pharmacist should have more common sense of universal protection practices!!! She was very polite, but YUCK

Expired products and bad policy

There is a CVS close to my house here in Creve Coeur , MO. Until my experience, I would go in at least once a week, I am in a rewards program and for the last experience I used my debit card. I bought a product that turned out expired, I went back a week after and notified them that their products were expired and they took them off the shelf. I also advised them that I would bring the product back for refund. Well a couple of days later I took the product but CVS says I can only get store credit. I advised that I did not need the Store credit, what makes you think I want to come back after selling me expired products. Dear CVS you do not get to apply the return policy when you sell EXPIRED products at this point it is your faulty, you should be able to credit the customer's form of payment.

Old happy handy

I was shopping at the CVS near my house when I asked for assistance locating a product. When the man began helping me search for the item, he proceeded to give me the old reach around. At first it was pleasant but then quickly turned horrific. Later when I tried speaking out against what had occurred on aisle 11, the manager on duty informed me that the man in question hadn’t worked at that store in years. His wife had recently left him so he would dress up like an associate to pretend to help people. I would give it higher stars but at the end of the ordeal, we still never found the product so I had to go across the street to Walgreens.

CVS Flower Mound TX on Flower Mound…

CVS Flower Mound TX on Flower Mound Road. Unprofessional, confused, prescriptions never ready after they send confirmation. Once pres is called in they hold it for 24 hour just to buy time. Too many mistakes and rude pharmacists.

As a pharmacy I would recommend CVS

As a pharmacy I would recommend CVS. As a store, sadly it is one of my last choices.
Picking up my medicine usually goes well. Sometimes there is a line, which can result in a wait, even if it is short. You never know when someone else is going to need assistance with anything. The service is fast, but you can only go so quick.
If you want to save yourself any unnecessary trips, you can request that CVS notify you when your meds are ready. This is quite useful for me because in the past, I would have one of my prescriptions ready one day after the other. If you need to pick up just 1 thing from the pharmacy, you usually need to wait around 10 minutes at most for it to be prepared for you.
CVS is an option for me if I need something urgently, but because of the steep prices, I cannot recommend it otherwise. I remember needing a stick of butter that was usually sold at 1 dollar being sold at 4 dollars! Most of the products seem to be sold at a higher price than the other stores. With a CVS account, you can get savings as well as an occasional coupon. Sometimes the savings only bring a product down to an average price.
Service is nothing remarkable.

This 5 Star is for only one Store In Mesa AZ. They’re exceptional at excellent care and customer service. I have been to so many negligent, incompetent and blatant dismissive Pharmacies and The One I will only stay with is The Greenfield and Southern location. Knowledgeable, respectful, compassionate and great work ethic for majority. Some exceed above and beyond and They are appreciated so very much. I can’t recall the top one I’ve noticed as excellent. Male, around 6ft, and He’s one that people should follow and strive to be like as well as majority of Staff. As a first time Disabled..Medical first responder I can relate to customer care practices and so on. I as well Listen, am ethically and morally sound and always strive do do the best for patients, even the rude , unappreciative, Entitled one’s with zero respect. They have hard jobs and the Competent Good ones Need to be recognized. Thank you for everything and I will always no matter what or how far keep you! God bless

They are super nice

They are super nice, but their website doesn't work and their automated system malfunctions constantly. They will tell you to download an application; don't. It doesn't work. The website is easier to navigate, and that's not saying much. They are really nice at the pharmacy though, and the manager, dm, or rm is my 5th grade teachers son. His name is Mr. Morgan. He's soooo nice. He's really handsome too. His wife has got to be one of the luckiest women alive. They don't make them like that no more, I'll tell you that, but that's besides the point. They are a great company, but whomever they pay for web design, a.i. logistics, and application development is stealing from them, because they aren't doing their job, like, at all.

CVS workers are rude

CVS workers are rude. Redding ca, lake Blvd and Cypress are very rude and short. I use to go to Walgreens and they are super there, but one of the RX my husband takes Walgreens dont carry, so switched to CVS. What a nightmare they are every time I have to get any RX refilled there. Even simple meds, that are on auto renew. Lisa at Lake Blvd is totally disrespectful. The hours are short for a pharmacy. Not open weekends. 90 percent of the time, they do not notify me, or try to blame the Dr. office, which I know our doctor and know she had called it in. They need to train these people. Just look at all the bad reviews.
