Fantastic service

My delivery estimate was given as Tuesday 23rd June and it finally arrived a week later which was annoying. It was clear that my order had been made in time for the 23rd because all my shelfs arrived dirty where they had been waiting to be delivered. All the pieces were made to the correct dimensions, but two of them had imperfections where there was a lack of care when applying the edgings, one had an edging strip completely missing and one has been damaged in transit. None of the pieces had any protection and it took a while to clean them before I could check properly for damage. I contacted Cut My straight away and received an automated response. I followed up a week later and still haven’t received any acknowledgment from them.

Update. A week on and I was asked for more details but still haven’t received a response from them. Their AI generated responses are excellent, it’s a shame the humans don’t do their bit when there’s an issue.

I am submitting this review as a formal complaint regarding CutMy’s handling of my order. It has now been one full week since I first contacted them about two faulty wardrobe shelf boards, and I have received no response despite sending two emails and making one phone call.

The defects were significant and immediately visible:

Shelf 1: Hole drilled in the wrong location
Shelf 2: Scratch along one edge

I will attach photos so other customers can clearly see the issues.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must arrive in satisfactory condition. I requested a full refund, yet CutMy has not acknowledged my complaint or provided any update. Their lack of communication and failure to resolve a straightforward issue leaves me with no choice but to escalate this further.

This experience reflects poor service quality, particularly when something goes wrong with an order. I hope this review helps future customers make an informed decision.

Window panel cut for portable ac unit. I was worried this wouldn’t work or delivery would be poor (as couriers often are these days) however I was pleasantly surprised. Perfect fit and good well packaged delivery. Should have done this years ago!

However 2mm polycarbonate is not rigid enough for greenhouse glass replacement. It should not be recommended as a replacement

Excellent service - telephoned for advice regarding what I needed to cover an outdoor table top , most helpful and I was then able to order via the easy to use website, The perspex arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed.

This was my third order with CutMy, however, this was the first one without any errors, I believe that was because I had asked for the orber to be triple checked to ensure no errors, the order was delivered late but I expected it to be!

I would like to say that CutMy support was very helpful and managed to get the errors corrected as quickly as possible, the after sales service was good, however, apart from verbal appollogees for errors on my first two orders there was no offer of recompense for the mistakes that were made.

On both occasions, my projects were delayed due to having to wait for the correct size boards to be recut and delivered.

The first project was a Gerbilarium for our pet gerbils, so wasn't a massive issue being a little delayed, the second project was a bit more of an issue, it was a bunk bed room divider, so the delay has much more of an impact on my children as they had nowhere to sleep, due to the fact that I had to dismantle their beds to build the new ones!

All in all, the quality of the materials supplied is great, the ordering process is very easy, the delivery service is fine, however, you need to make sure that the items you receive are in fact the correct size that you ordered, especially if you are ordering multiple items of the same size, I WOULD RECOMMEND PUTTING A MESSAGE ON THE ORDER TO DOUBLE CHECK THE ITEMS! before sending it to you.

I like how easy it is to make the cuts bespoke and to select the style and colour, all of which feels bespoke, which is especially important for someone like us with non-standardised measurements in our house. Great product and quick delivery, thank you.

Excellent product perfectly cut. Delivery was rather expensive and took longer than expected
