I joined less than a month ago. I am a long term user of cannabis so sceptical about the affects versus cannabis brought on the street. I am very impressed and happy to continue buying from Curaleaf. It is really easy to set up an account compared to some and even simpler if you have the NHS app. The process is communicated well, you are sent reminders and the interaction with the staff has been a comfortable experience. Once you are accepted the rest happens quickly, you are given options for preference and great value for money. I am sold. Thank you Curaleaf 😊

Today I was informed after 3 months of issues, appointments, and calls to resolve, that if you place your order for your prescription, which is expected to last 28 days, you then cannot place a further order for a full 28 days (I e. after you have run out), despite the website requesting that prescriptions are put in early to avoid delays.
I agree with others that staff are 'helpful' and they are for sure friendly. Meetings however do not translate into sensible service thereafter. I have had this ordering issue 2 months running among others:
- I had DPD at my door 3 times with medication deliveries in a week at one point because I was given 4 different prescriptions running across 3 different start/expiry dates
- I was upsold vape cartridges without me mentioning wanting any other products, which then reduced my normal medication for a month without being explained the full impact on my prescription
- First appointment didn't feel rushed but follow up appointments are squeezed into 15 minute slots which might be ok if everything's going ok but feel really rushed if not.
- I paid for my first consultation as I wasn't sure if I was going to be prescribed; then signed up to the membership to get follow up appointments included. My initial appointment wasn't included in the membership so my first year cost £80 which is more than advertised.
- Prescription letters following appointments did not capture the full discussions, for example errors or issues discussed which were acknowledged and 'resolved'.
- if you do have any issues and the info you are provided by admin doesn't agree to discussions with prescriber, you will have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, longer if you want to see a specific team member which is far from ideal when you are not getting on with the prescription you were given (either because it's wrong, not working for you, arriving in too many deliveries etc.)
The pharmacy seemed to see what the issue was at their end when I called; but couldn't help and put me through to the clinic who didn't agree and feel it's my fault. It just doesn't make any sense.
Example (dates changed for ease of seeing issue): at my last appointment I had already ran out following errors with my previous prescription, so I'm already without medication (fine, while they resolve the issues).
1. Prescription runs 1-28 may
2. I order on 1st may. It comes for example on the 4th may (it's usually quick, DPD are good, but during holidays and busy spells they've quote a long time for delivery)
3. That prescription will last me 28 days, i.e. to the 31 may as agreed with the prescriber. Next 28 day prescription due to be started on 1st June.
4. I cannot order more until the next prescription expires (i.e. 29th) despite the prescription being in possession of the pharmacy. This will be delivered sometime approx. 3 June+, significantly longer on weekends and holidays; as well as being reliant on everything going perfectly to plan at their end.
5. Therefore there's a gap of nearly 1 week in between, every month, where I have little or no medication.
I don't understand why I am prescribed X but cannot order X in advance of me requiring it. This is despite their website advising me to put my prescription in 7 days early to ensure it gets delivered on time. I do this and I am told I have to wait until after I run out (28 days) to order more.
When I questioned what I do in the interim while waiting for another 28 day prescription, I was informed that I was prescribed more than what I should be medicating every day (I don't even know why that would be the case as all conversations with prescribers surrounded my prescribed amount) and so I should have enough to last until after my prescription expires. So now I'm even more confused because the conversations with prescribers and information provided by the admin staff at the clinic don't add up. It feels like disjointed working at best and malpractice at worst; funny considering the glowing reviews you will find from the Care Quality Commission.
Avoid this incompetence if you rely on consistent medication without being expected to go without while you wait on deliveries. I have tried my very best to resolve this and despite speaking to prescribers at the clinic and the pharmacy, who both acknowledged and saw what the issue was, this was conflicted by the experience when ordering and again by the info provided when I escalated the repeated issues via patient support team. I think I'm at the point of giving up as they don't seem to listen and just know best that 'prescriptions run 28 days'. Yes; and I can't get one for 33 days+ so riddle me that.
If GP's gave out repeat prescriptions AFTER you run out of medication it would be a pretty stressful affair and there would be a national outcry. That is exactly how a prescription with Curaleaf is.

Good reliable service. Good clinic. It can take a couple of days for the paper prescription to get to their pharmacy but once they have it it’s a quick service regarding dispatch and delivery.
My last appointment was with a doctor I hadn’t seen before. One appointment with him and after years of talking to a lot of medical professionals I now understand why these medications help with some of my health issues but not all. I did know this with my health but I never got told why. Thanks to Doctor Richard Hazlett I now know and fully understand. With health it is important that us patients understand our health problems, the medications we get given and how they work. He did it in a detailed but simple and concise way.

I waited WEEKS for an appointment. I chose a 10am time slot. The day of my appointment I logged on at 10am and no one came on. I wrote to Curaleaf and they told me my appointment was at 6pm. I sent a screenshot from WITHIN their website showing 10am was what I booked. Anyway, I went on again at 5:55 and waited until 6:15pm and the "Clinician" was a no show. No email, nothing. Next day I receive an email "you should have had your appointment yesterday, here are next steps". They didn't even know my appointment was never completed. I'm working on a refund. Total waste of my time. Curaleaf if you read this I WANT A REFUND. **UPDATE** - THEY refuse to give me a refund. The Clinician stated they called me later two times but it's not true! As you can see from their reply, they blame it on confusion rather than someone not showing up for my appointment and they stay a policy that doesn’t exist

Terrible appointment system - waited over a week for my appointment. Night before they send a text to confirm an email on the day of the appointment to remind me - THEN 6 hours before they ring and cancel due to ‘medical reasons’ but can fit me in for a shorter appointment in 2 hours ? However their rules are if I need to cancel I need to give 72 hours notice. Seems like they don’t care about their patients and will take your money for appointments they can’t keep!
