As to what you have said about the reports being too vague, please know that we value our accuracy over precision, and so the chosen regions/ information allows us to have our 90%+ accuracy rate. But as our algorithm is constantly improving, being able to provide state of the art ethnicity estimates that are not only accurate but highly precise is one of our top priorities. If we get to provide you with a more detailed breakdown of your results, we will surely let you know via email.

To clarify, the ancestry and traits reports included in your kit are part of the standard package. Some additional health-related reports are available separately, which is why you may have seen an option to purchase more.

1. Environment & Lifestyle
While your DNA provides a blueprint, the way your genes are expressed can be influenced by your environment, lifestyle, and overall health habits. These external factors often play a major role in shaping the final outcome.

2.Traits Involve Multiple Genes
Most traits aren’t determined by a single gene. Instead, they are influenced by multiple genes working together. While our reports analyze key markers that science has linked to specific traits, there are still other genes involved that may affect your individual experience.

3.Genes Can Switch On and Off
Throughout our lives, certain genes can become more or less active due to a process called epigenetics. If you’re not seeing any relative matches in your report, there are two possible reasons:

1. No Known Relatives in the Database
It’s possible that none of your biological relatives have submitted their DNA to our database yet. Without relatives participating, there won’t be any matches to display.

2. Privacy and Consent Settings
Even if you have potential relatives in the system, they may have chosen not to opt in to relative matching or sharing. To respect their privacy, our system won’t show matches unless consent has been given.

Rest assured, you’ll be notified by email as soon as any potential matches become available.
