Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 93 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Customers frequently stated they received incorrect items or wrong sizes that simply did not fit their vehicles properly, leaving them with unusable goods. People also struggled with extremely slow response times, unhelpful support staff, and strict return policies that made getting refunds nearly impossible. Some reviewers were satisfied with the high quality and exact fit of specific custom items they successfully purchased for their vehicles. Others appreciated it when dedicated support representatives went above and beyond to successfully resolve their delivery and product fit concerns. A few consumers also noted that certain car covers provided decent protection despite minor design flaws.

I ordered a custom sunscreen for my truck they took the money and I never received the item. The don't answer or call back when you call to check. Worst company I've ever dealt with. Not sure how this will end as I still don't have any answers as to if or when I'll get my order but I hope people read this an beware of this company. I'll be reporting them to the BBB

Cover craft advertises a custom fit. Nope

Cover craft advertises a custom fit sun shade for cars. The sample images show a decent looking fit around the mirror and sides. What i received was a shade that was comically small. The mirror area had a huge cutout halfway down the window that allowed a lot of sun to shine in. It was also too narrow. Contacting them take a lot a patience. They took up to two weeks to get back to me at one point. They claimed that the fit had to be that way and sent me some images that didnt address the issue that I had identified. I did end up sending it back. They had offered to refund part of the cost if I would keep it.
They do have a restocking charge and the customer has to pay for return shipping.

Ordered seat covers and paid extra for 2 day air. After shipping notification it took 5 days to arrive. Then they did not fit. After 4 days of photos, emails, and phone calls. I finally got a return authorization. I don't know how long it will take to get my money back, or if I even will. Be very careful if you order from this company. The customer service is horrible. I recommend a different company.

I ordered a 2026 4Runner custom car…

I ordered a 2026 4Runner custom car shade from Covercraft plus its storage bag. I received the shade in the estimated 7-day shipping time frame, but not the bag which was estimated to ship sooner. It took 3 unsatisfactory attempts to reach customer service (long phone waits and no call backs as stated), but on the 4th attempt after holding for 20 minutes I finally connected with Gina. She was exemplary in handling the issue of the missing bag. It was expedited and I received it in 2 days. It's several inches longer than I expected. The sunshade fits perfectly, came with instructions, and does its job. But, it's too early to tell how it will hold up in AZ sun. Also, their website isn't very intuitive with Order Status found in small print at the bottom under Support instead of in the main drop-down menu. Emails were as expected. Their pricing isn't worth the worry on the order and difficulty of reaching customer service, even if the the sun shade turns out to be phenominal. I won't order from them again.

I purchased a cover for my NORHERNLITE truck camper. The first one ripped the second time in used it within the first year. They sent me a replacement which was the same cheap cover. The second degraded sitting in my garage not even exposed to the elements and tore while installing.
The ADCO products are junk, save your time and money.

This company does not accept responsiblity for product listing or exchange or return of products

This company does not accept returns and does not accept responsibility for questionable product listings. I purchased what I thought was a cover for a GLE53 AMG but instead was for a CLE53 AMG, thier G's and C's are nearly identical. They refuse to accept any responsibility or exchange of the product and told me to try to sell it to someone else.

This company is a joke!!!

This company is a joke. I did receive my order in a timely manner, however, there were several issues. While installing the hood portion of the front bumper cover I received, one of the clips broke. Then while installing the actual bumper cover, there were several fit issues, including a cutout in the front that I thought was for the tag. The cut out was toward the bottom of the bumper, which is not where the tag is located on my vehicle. So I called them (after unanswered emails) and they asked me to send another email with photos of the issues. I did. Their response took a long time, but they assured me that the fit was right and the cutout is for a sensor. They went on to say that my trim level does not have said sensor. (CUSTOM FIT???) And of course because the covers are "custom fit" they do not offer returns or refunds!!! But they are going to send me replacement clips for the hood piece, which I have no intention of using because the entire cover looks absolutely ridiculous!

Carpet type dash mat

Ordered Carpet type dash mat. Workmanship not worthy of Covercraft of the past. Thin quality. Velcro hooks dont grab. Mat wont lay flat. Seams are not neat with excessive material on backside leaving bumps and buckling. Disappointing and expensive

Deceptive Website — Sold Me a Third-Party Product Without Disclosure

Ordered a custom car cover for my 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage (Order #0002602738). When my preferred color wasn't available in Covercraft's own lineup, their website quietly redirected me to a HeroCovers product — a completely separate company with manufacturing in Indonesia — with no clear disclosure that I was no longer buying a Covercraft-made product.
Covercraft has built their reputation since 1965 on American-made quality. That reputation is what I was paying $399 for. Instead I got a product from a different brand, made overseas, presented as if it were their own.
When I tried to resolve this, the text rep claimed she couldn't see my order (despite me sending the confirmation). I've now sent two emails and used their web form with zero response — consistent with what many other reviewers report here.
Package is arriving unopened. I will be initiating a chargeback with my credit card company for misrepresentation.
Buyers beware — if a color or material isn't available in Covercraft's core lineup, check carefully what brand you're actually being sold before completing your purchase.

The windshield cover doesn't fit. I can't get the time of day from Covercraft.

The windshield cover doesn't fit over the rear view mirror housing, so I can't get it to lay against the windshield. Covercraft must have ASSUMED that the new model of my car was dimensionally the same as the old. It is not. They do not respond to my emails. It's been four days. I called them on day two about the lack of response and they still didn't write back.

ordered a snow shield slash uv blocker…

ordered a snow shield slash uv blocker that is advertised as a universal fit. It does not fit a 2016 ford xlt explorer. Which is what i ordered and they SAID it would fit When it is on the windshield there is a 8 x 3 gap on each side. When i TRIED to make a refund all i got was a run around. This product was not custom made it is a in stock item. These people give buyers a GOOD REASON of why not to buy American made

I just got off the phone with customer…

I just got off the phone with customer service about a return request for a dashmat that I recently purchased. The dashmat came in a two piece dashmat. On the site it shows as a one piece which makes sense. I've never had a two piece dashmat in any of my vehicles and covercraft sent me this. I called now atleat 4 to 5 business days straight. Im reading the other complaints and long story short, im in the same boat. Misleading product information. So in other words the company is a fraud for truth. They tell you that someone will be contacting you which makes our points as customers correct. Since when have we called a company about a return and not have it done in that same call? Do not deal with this company, they are the worst. Poorly made material, and bad customer service.

Deceptive advertising. Atrocious "customer service". Dishonest company.

I ordered qa dash cover from their website based on the photos of colors they had posted. When I received the order the color was not even close to what was represented on their website. The website showed the color as a muted black. (cinder). The cover I got is a medium gray. Worlds apart from what was shown on their site. When I contacted them I was blown off and waited 5 days fro the to contact me which never happened. When I called them they started the run around and said the color was correct and that they state on their wen=b site that colors may vary. Black to medium gray is not variance. It's a different color. They refused to do anything to make this right. I am now stuck with a dash cover I cannot use because NOTHING in my car is gray. I have owned MANY dash covers from them but never again. I will buy from an HONEST competitor. I will never do business with Hovercraft again. They are dishonest.

Absolutely terrible company and…

Absolutely terrible company and horrible customer service. I ordered a sunshade for my vehicle and when it finally arrived it does not fit like a “custom sunshade” it did not even cover the entire windshield and it was about 2” short and didn’t even reach the top. I sent pictures and the response was to send me their explanation article and say it’s normal to have some space around it. From the pictures you can obviously tell this custom sunshade is anything but. What’s the point if it does not even cover all of the windshield?! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company and their products, for 100 bucks I was expecting a lot more. After a week or so of back and forth with them I got someone to process my return but of course I have to pay to ship it and there a restocking fee. There are better options out there and I would avoid them at all cost!

Horrible

You order seat covers for your vehicle. Then receive them and they don’t fit at all. It takes forever for a customer service representative to get back to you. Then when you return them they take some money and don’t return all your money. The basically steal your money. I will never use this company or recommend it

I would not order from this company

I would not order from this company, the customer service is terrible. The person you talk to is very sweet acts like they're going to help you, tells you to send pictures her name was MAISHA. I sent the pictures and heard nothing the rest of that day so I called the next morning talk to another person who said yes they received the pictures and MAISHA would review them and get back with me that's been almost a week ago and no one has contacted me again. Unless you know this is going to be a perfect fit there are other companies that'll give you 90 day return or exchange I would go with them. I paid almost $70 for this dashboard cover and I'm stuck with it and I only want to do an exchange.

I wish I could rate this lower than 1…

I wish I could rate this lower than 1 star. Dashboard cover for my 2025 Tucson was horrible. It was 2-3 inches too wide , had pieces that were so thin they couldn't be secured. Even if it fit the pieces that were supposed to secure it were too small or non-existent and in the wrong places. I tried cutting it to make it work but quality of the materials was so bad it looked like crap. Don't waste your money or time with these thieves.
