Having been very upset by Goldcar finding a tiny scratch on my hire car in Menorca and sending me a bill of £191 I was not hopeful of getting my claim settled. How wrong I was, yes the on line for... See more

Easy to submit a claim. Initially did not accepted due some misunderstanding on the invoice, after clarification all was settled in a few days!

I highly commend Cover4Rentals, following the Which? recommendation. I’ve never needed to make a claim before and was gutted when I had a little bump on my hire car in Germany. But the claim was settled without problems as quickly as possible. It was a challenge having to lay out a large sum to the hire company but thankfully the payment was made before my credit card bill had to be paid. Thank you Cover4Rentals for taking the stress of my shoulders! One tip - make sure you have all your paperwork - keep the rental documents and claim altogether which will make the process of uploading much more straightforward. The system is very user friendly (says someone in their 70s!) as long as you have the necessary to hand. Thanks again!

The website was very easy to use, clear quotations for a range of covers. Buying the policy was simple and policy documents received promptly by email. The real test wil be if I am unfortunate enough to have a claim and how easy that process is and how fairly I am treated … …

Very disappointing experience with Cover4Rentals / Jatco Insurance Brokers.
I purchased car hire excess insurance and renewed my policy after being assured by customer support that the cover would continue.
During the previous policy period, claims relating to Wheego rentals were accepted and paid. However, after renewal, I discovered that Wheego had been added to the exclusion list and my claim was rejected. This significant reduction in cover was not clearly communicated to me before renewal.
Despite the company knowing that I used Wheego for rentals, I was not informed that this type of rental would no longer be covered.
After my claim was rejected by Cover4Rentals, I also submitted a claim under another insurance policy with a different insurer to check whether any alternative cover could apply. That claim was independently rejected by the other insurer based on the terms and conditions of that separate policy, and no compensation was paid.
After I questioned the decision and tried to resolve the matter, Cover4Rentals alleged that my claim constituted “fraud” and cancelled my policy. I strongly dispute this allegation, as I acted in good faith.
As a result, I was left without insurance coverage, without a refund of the premium paid, and without payment of my original claim.
I attempted to resolve this matter directly with the company, but my concerns were not properly addressed.
Customers should be clearly informed about important changes to insurance coverage before renewing a policy. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Cover4Rentals / Jatco Insurance Brokers.
Easy to arrange on line at a very competitive price given the level of cover provided

Very fast to get covered for a car in Crete. £7500 was far more than needed for the excess on a Toyota CHR. I didn’t have to claim so can’t comment on the response should I have had an accident.

I was very impressed with this company the website was very easy to use and it is a big saving compared to car rental rip of charges. I would recomend this company and use again.
