Lukewarm food.

Choice of food was OK but not very appetising to look at. Carvery was pathetic Brussels hard, carrots looked liked they were sitting in oil meat was fatty this was at 7. Therefore should have had a better choice of options. Scampi was more breadcrumb than fish. We paid over the top for what we had to eat and a service charge for what. It had been years since we had been but it was my granddaughters choice for her birthday. Wasn't impressed the first time and it hasn't changed will not be returning.

Awful

I generally really enjoy Cosmo Bristol, but this evening was just absolutely awful! All of the food was cold, the selection was terrible with many of the usual dishes replaced by things like hash browns and fish fingers! The food was very slow to be replenished and the nothing was fresh. We won't be coming back.

Went to the one in Bristol tonight for my other half a birthday, what a waste of £102, not much selection, don't know what they were thinking with the so called carvery, all the food was cold, anything containing meat was tough or greasy, we left and went back to our hotel and ordered McDonald's, I'm absolutely devastated that it's ruined my partner's birthday, I now know why they insist on payment upfront

Very Rude staff

I've been in Cosmo (Bournemouth) several times but this last one disappointing. The company booked for 3 day gathering and I chose the last day. The booking started at 5pm. We arrived earlier than the expected booking. When I approached the counter, this guy named UMESH was in-charged. After giving the company name, and the one who booked it, He wants us that all who's on the booking should come in all together and we should wait for the rest before he let us come inside . The way he talks and approach us was very rude. Same experienced happened to my colleague earlier than me. I've been in hospitality industry for 10 years but this kind of behaviour he showed will ruin the company's reputation. He should not stay in front of the house. He must undergo trainings and seminar on how to deal with the guest. Kudos to JP (Paul ). He approached, accomodate and led us in the table in a nice and friendly manner. The food we're great but the staff who's rude should not exist.

Hi,(COSMO Norwich) I booked a table for…

Hi,(COSMO Norwich) I booked a table for 24 people (23 came), we got the table in time but the previous group must have just left because the waitresses just started to clean the tables when we arrived, but they just took the dirty plates and glasses ,didn`t properly sanitise the tables, we didn`t get to sit all together, we were separated into 2 groups which wasn`t too nice + nobody told us about it before, we all sat down and waited for a waitress to come to us for at least 10 minutes to take our drink orders, I needed to go and ask for 1 waitress because nobody came. At the end I needed to pay for 24 menus because some of the waitress cannot count properly and I paid 51£ extra for no reason (2 menus without drinks, which is already weird as everybody had multiple drinks so someone seriously messed up the whole thing between the waitresses)... and because they didn`t want to waste time to figure out properly what happened and handled me as a liar and they just wanted me to pay, what I did at the end, the whole situation was handled extremely poorly and very unprofessional. I am deeply disappointed, until now I had a very good opinion about the whole Cosmo team, but I guess because I didn`t have any issues, their problem solving is horrifically bad.
I wanted a nice night out with my colleagues and I thought this is a good place to go, but never again, such a low key service they have.

Visited cosmo Liverpool on several…

Visited cosmo Liverpool on several occasions, the food is generally good and staff are nice enough.
A big letdown for the restaurant is keeping an eye on the buffet it's self, they are not checking what needs to be filled up,there is quite a few empty dishes, so when you want something it's not there.
My latest visit was the worst I have seen it, and to make things worse I asked a member of staff could they please refill the sui mai, they said yes it will be about 10 minutes, ok fair enough problem was 1hr later they still hadn't done it.
But they did give us a voucher for a meal for the 3 of us with a drink, so was happy with the outcome.
Cosmo please please get on top of the checking dishes, if you can do that you will be the best in the city.

A genuinely wonderful Sunday brunch with a friend

Cosmo Buffet @ the Manchester (UK) branch:

Client Service:
The staff and client service have, especially across various week nights and weekend lunchtimes, are continuingly impressive (as good as, if not, actually kind of better than some established, big name a la carte restaurants).

For the last 4 visits or so now, we've had the wonderful pleasure of encountering staff members: Steffy (a supervisor often at reception) alongside (Polish/Spanish lady with lovely long blonde hair) Shkurte, who are ever polite and courteously helpful :)!

The food was awesome today - well staffed and kept clean, despite it being a busy lunch n brunch service.

Shall much more likely return to this venue now, after today! ;)

Love this Place!

Let's face it, a buffet style restaurant is never going to be amazing, but I have been to Cosmo Belfast 5 times and think it's excellent value and high quality food. For what it is, it's fantastic. There really is something for everyone and everything is kept clean and topped up. Staff are a bit awkward and give an air of not really knowing what to do but given its self service this point has no real impact. You can really get your money's worth in this place! Big prawns, lamb curries, crispy duck– just fantastic. Real flavour and quality– not just bland cheap cuts of meat in generic sauces. Desserts aren't great, I don't usually bother with them, but it's not like I ever have any room left anyway! FYI price is usually around £20 per person. Drinks are expensive but they have to make money somewhere.

Cosmo Bristol - Unsatisfactory, would not recommend it as a worthwhile use of time or money.

Cosmo Bristol
We were deeply disappointed with our visit on Monday, which was intended to be a celebratory birthday meal. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The food appeared to lack freshness and gave the impression of being reheated remnants from the previous evening. The prawns, in particular, were not fresh; they were unusually tough and difficult to peel.

Several serving trays were empty, requiring us to approach staff multiple times to request refills. Additionally, the chocolate fountain was out of service, and the dessert selection was notably limited. Given these shortcomings, we found the visit to be unsatisfactory and would not recommend it as a worthwhile use of time or money.

Possibly the worst dining out…

Possibly the worst dining out experience we could possibly have had. We went here (Cosmo Wolverhampton) as a treat for my daughter's birthday as we had previously had a good time at Cosmo in Derby. However, the labelling for all of the food at Wolverhampton is completely inaccurate. It's as though they had just randomly ticked loads of allergen boxes on all of the dishes. This meant that things that you would expect to have no allergens present (such as chips) supposedly had milk, eggs and shellfish in them, whereas a cake which had nuts sprinkled on top was not labelled as containing nuts! As two of our party were vegan and another has a nut allergy this made selecting anything to eat almost impossible. We could only find two dishes that appeared to be suitable for vegans and when we spoke to the manager for clarification we ended up with a very confusing story about them just ticking most of the things in case there is any cross contamination from the cooking area they are prepared in or by customers cross-contaminating dishes themselves when self-serving. It made absolutely no sense at all. He did, though, seem to confirm that the chips did actually have egg in them, which seemed very strange and then offered to get the chef to cook us some plain rice (the other rice apparently has ghee (butter) added to it). As there would have been nothing to eat with the rice we politely declined and got a refund for our meals. To top it all off, we had also paid for limitless soft drinks and when trying to get a lemonade from the machine we found that it was dispensing just fizzy water instead. Really, really poor all round and for anyone who actually is concerned with what is in their food (either has an allergy, specific dietary requirement or just wants to be informed about what they're being served) I would recommend giving this place a very wide berth. Don't be fooled by their website saying that there are options available for you, because at the Wolverhampton branch there aren't. I'd also suggest that Wolverhampton council's food safety team and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) should take a look at the labelling in place at the Wolverhampton Cosmo and advise them on labelling it in way that accurately reflects what is in the dishes rather than the seemingly very random labelling that is in place currently. As it is, it could be quite dangerous, particularly with products that contain nuts not being labelled as such, whilst nearly every other dish that doesn't contain certain ingredients is labelled as if they do.

We attended Cosmo for a 21st birthday…

We attended Cosmo for a 21st birthday celebration. We were a party of 10, 4 of whom were coming from abroad. As usual the party of 4 were very late, but the staff made sure there was food for them when they arrived at 9.30pm. The staff were absolutely great about them being late. We couldn't fault the staff or the service we received. When they brought the birthday cake out, they even sang happy birthday to our daughter. Many, many thanks to the staff

Cosmo Liverpool 5 Stars!!!

Cosmo Liverpool has now become my go to place when I’m in town. The manager is an absolute sweetheart of a man and their staff are really pleasant and welcoming.
The food hasn’t disappointed me once either. The place is well maintained and clean.

No complaints from me at all.

Awful

When we arrived, there was a wait time of around 15 minutes, we sat in the waiting area and all of the tables were sticky. We were then seated at a table in the middle of the walk way, it was an unpleasant place to sit and not ideal due to the volume of people constantly walking right next to you. We went and got our meals, there was not much variety. As we were eating we where asked to pay for the meal, this should have been asked before or after the meal not during, we where very dissatisfied by this and this has never been the case in any other restaurant. Staff were rude and too busy talking between eachother instead of serving us . They only had diet pepsi and the ice machine wasn’t working. We paid £47 for the meal in total, not even including the drinks. The food was tasteless, stale and simply horrible. We both ate a small plate of food, it was so disgusting, we didn’t even finish it, a huge scam not worth the money.
