Competitive quote, easy to navigate website and good communication processes
Very competitive price. The policy matched competitors and much cheaper.
Simple & straight forward to get travel
Insurance 👍
Amazing service as always the young man was so helpful thank you again for your help and support
The questions were easy to understand and answer, I had a family member to help me to ensure all details were correct, as it is so important to have the right cover.
I shop and save on my shopping most days of the week and don’t like the self service!
Simple easy. Plus a member and ex employee. Coop is doing some great things for all communities. Well done keep up the good.
The site was easy to find & once there easy to follow. Then we telephoned to find the staff easy to speak to & answer any questions we had! Thereafter we were delighted how easy it was to gain the insurance to suit our requirements! Well done to your staff!!
Repeat user of Co-op Travel Insurance. Quick, easy, not over-priced, and a company I trust! 5*
I got the cover I required showing a clear dropdown guide at a competitive price.
Easy to organise reasonable rates, and of course it's the co-op.

Quick and straightforward quote for travel, I found the Co-op asked a couple of questions that made sense more than any other company I got to quote. Firstly I was able to say I had been to the hospital for an appt, but able to note that no medication was needed - secondly wasable to select insurance for wordwide with exclusions within the 'Worldwide" such as Mexico and the Carribean.
Obviously time would tell if the insurance is so straightforward if I am unfortunate enough to have to claim - might be a different rating, but hopefully not.
I took out an annual 16K lifetime policy for our young Labrador last year with you for about £240. This year's renewal quote was about £315, yet the exact same policy online via a search engine was about £260. You told me that the renewal price was "set in stone" and last year's price was because I was a new customer. You are not supposed to do "price-walking" of existing customers any more. So much for loyalty!

Great price. Cover is very good on all levels and good choice of excess for different problems that may arise.
Absolute disgrace of a company. I took out Co-op car insurance for my Mustang Mach-E in July 2026 because they offered the best cover at a competitive price. Two months later, in September 2026, I sold the Mustang and bought a BMW i5. I tried to make the simple vehicle change on their online portal — it wouldn’t let me. So I had to phone them.
After an unnecessarily long wait I finally got through to an advisor called Jack. He took the details of the new car and immediately told me they couldn’t insure the BMW i5 on my existing policy. I would have to take out a brand-new policy that was more than £200 more expensive. Let that sink in: the BMW i5 is in a lower insurance group than the Mustang Mach-E, yet Co-op wanted to charge me hundreds more. Pure greed.
A five-minute search on a major comparison site found me a new policy with exactly the same level of cover for over £200 less than the quote Jack was pushing, and cheaper than my current Co-op policy as well. When I told Jack I wanted to cancel so I could take the better deal elsewhere, he hit me with a £50 cancellation charge. A £50 penalty because they refused to update my existing policy and tried to force me onto an overpriced new one. Absolute robbery in broad daylight.
This is from a company that loves to bang on about being “for its members.” Laughable. I will be reporting this to the FCA. I will never insure anything with Co-op again, and I will actively avoid spending a single penny anywhere that has the Co-op name on it. Avoid this shower at all costs unless you enjoy being ripped off
