Absolutely outstanding work
Absolutely outstanding work. Very impressed by the attention to detail, and by the thorough approach to hard landscaping.
We've had a patio, path, low retaining sleeper wall, lawn and shed base done.
We're on a new build site with typical new build drainage. The guys dug down to solid earth, which was really deep, and properly installed a really solid type 1 base, compacted in several layers, followed by really good full cement bed for the Kandla Indian Sandstone. The flags were also slurried. It's difficult to find anyone who will even understand what this is, let alone someone who does it unprompted.
Land drains were installed that have been very effective, keeping the patio dry even in the pretty persistent summer rain we've had the last few weeks.
We're considering a small extra patio area next year (finances permitting), or the year after, and we will 100% be going back to Coombe and Sharp.
Really friendly and cheery guys as well. It was a real pleasure having them around for 2 weeks!
