I have worked with Mark Higginson at Conveyancing Home on quite a few cases. He is one of, if not the best solicitor I work with in terms of communication and follow up updates. He keeps not only the clients up to date but also gives us in depth reviews of files to make sure we can get a file through as swiftly as possible. My experience with ConveyancingHome was extremely disappointing, mainly due to my case handler, Nicola. The process was unnecessarily stressful because of poor communication, repeated errors, and a lack of attention to detail.
Information I provided early on was ignored or forgotten, emails often referred to missing attachments, and documents were not passed on to the buyer’s solicitors. I repeatedly struggled to get responses to emails and calls and was unable to get even an aspirational timeline, despite the transaction being well progressed.
A major concern was being quoted £100 per Land Registry document for items that cost around £7. Several references I was given didn’t even relate to my property, and I was left unclear whether the correct documents were ever obtained.
Enquiries were badly mishandled. I completed detailed responses myself with supporting documents, but these were not properly reviewed or sent on, causing further delays. Annual leave was taken with no clear handover or cover, which brought progress to a halt.
The only positive was Jessica, who stepped in briefly and was professional, proactive, and clear. Her help stood in stark contrast to the rest of my experience.
I was not told that I wouldn’t be dealing with a qualified solicitor or conveyancer, and had I known, I would not have instructed this firm. My biggest mistake was choosing ConveyancingHome.

What can I say, a great experience for one! Mark Higginson is fantastic and even rushed things through for me to complete before Christmas.

I cannot recommend Mark enough…if only all conveyancing solicitors were this good.
