Conforama ignores responsibilities

We still have no response from Conforama re. our kitchen. We paid for the entire kitchen 4 months ago already. It is now my problem that they measured the kitchen incorrectly, they don't reply to my emails. The appliances was delayed by 3 months & now just standing in the kitchen, with no installation date confirmed. So disappointed. Order 1097544

Total lack of interest in 4 month old faulty item

I purchased an identical model Edward chair to replace a 5 year old one bought from Conforama that had given me good service and still looked in reasonable condition.
The new chair seat cushion deformed badly within 4 months of purchase, which made it uncomfortable to sit on and also unsightly to look at.
I contacted Conforama and sent photographs of the problem, they sent someone to photograph the chair and then told me that the fact the seat had deformed to such an extent was not in their opinion a problem and that the density of the filling used in the chair seat was not covered under their 2 year guarantee.
I pointed out that I had an identical model chair 5 years old that was in better condition than the 4 month old chair but they were not interested in looking into the problem.
They might be attentive when they are taking your money but their attitude to customer service when the items that they have sold have problems is indifferent to say the least.
Just ask yourself why do Conforama have so many bad reviews for their after sales service and then spend your money with a company that unlike Conforama has customer satisfaction as a priority.

Shocking Service from Conforama Cascais…

The service from Conforama Cascais kitchen division is shocking to day the least. The manager is useless, does not even reply to emails. I have been waiting for my kitchen to be finalised for six months. The appliances paid for three months ago have still not been delivered. Shocking service.
Conforama should not be allowed to do business if this is how they treat their clients. The manager of the kitchen division in Cascais should be fired.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT IN KITCHEN DEPARTMENT

I have been waiting for Conforama to finish my kitchen since July 2022, 10 months! Their Lisbon Store is useless & I warn anyone thinking of buying from the to consider not doing so. Their customer service is non existent. The kitchen was made by Nobilia & even their representative in portugal isn't at all interest in resolving the matter. The second set of wrong parts have just been delivered today. We will be very lucky if the kitchen is finished for the anniversary of it being first installed.

Brought a sofa and still waiting

Brought a sofa and still waiting. Brought end of January , told a month to wait. Happy to do so. Its impossible to get a contact from them . Eventually be got told , via phoning , it would arrive 15 march. Not arrived . No information to say why it hasn't or when it will. I definitely wouldn't buy anything from them again which involves delivery .
I'm hoping it will arrive soon .

If I could put a negative rating I…

If I could put a negative rating I would. I placed and order with Conforama Alta on Jan. 16, 2023 for a 55" LG Smart TV. They delivered a 50" LG Smart TV on Jan. 23rd, 2023. I have been more than patient for the last month and a half waiting for them to refund the difference in price or give me the correct TV. I have emailed, gone to the store, called to no avail. I called again today March 5, 2023 and spoke to someone named Ana... and she said she would check on and call me back today. For the first time I received an email with a 3rd party link attachment that was written in Portuguese, I could not read it, didn't print it and it's gone. I have no idea what it said, now I will have to go to the store again. This is ridiculous and there is no customer service or ownership of their error. I feel totally taken advantage of. That is not reputable and certainly they have no customer service. I would never purchase from them again and I will be sure to pass my experience on to everyone. Save yourself the headaches and shop elsewhere.

Does not function as a company, employees have no pride working for this business.

The way this company function, it is a joke. You buy/order products from one store and they collect your order from different stores rather than one warehouse company warehouse. So if there is a problem with your order they blame other stores for not able to deliver it on time. I order few things from Conforama and delivery was re-schedule 3 times. Gaia store would blame Matosinhos and Matosinhos would blame Gaia store. So, I would not buy from this company at all in the future. Our wardrobe was damaged during delivery and I was told to send email to customer service and it will be fixed in 30 days.

They sell lounge chairs which rust away…

They sell lounge chairs which rust away and claim that “the set has been under rain and/or in contact with water” and that “ rust is not covered by the warranty.”

So their Swimmingpools loounge chairs are only to be used inside (?😅😂🤣🥲😱?

Cheap stuff. Keep away.

Items arrived with missing pieces, poor assembly, horrible customer support

Delivery service was paid for, but set as pickup, forcing me to go back to the store to get it delivered. Items arrived with missing pieces, assembly service ruined the furniture by screwing incorrectly. Customer support does not reply to emails, phone service is paid and horrible.

Customer support doesn't phone call when they say they will, making me go to the store repeatedly to get information.

Disaster

I bought sofa bed and revived it with a hole in the material. I was told it will be changed. They haven’t done it for 3 months now saying that they are waiting for the producer. Now just started to not replay. I do not recommend you to buy anything . They ignore the clients.

Awful Customer Services.

We bought a kitchen, costing nearly 12K Euros from Conforama Albufeira at the end of October 2021. The units were installed on 2nd February 2022 and our contract stated that granite worktop would be installed 3 days later. This was only half done and that was 4WEEKS later, during which time we had no kitchen sink in which to wash dishes or to fill kettles.

The Island section did not appear for another 3 weeks and it did not fit, so we had to wait until 23 may for this to happen.

Throughout all this, and not long after the kitchen was fitted, our inbuilt Teka oven failed, yet despite frequent e mails to both Conforama and the Teka organisation nothing was done until 2nd June, when a technician arrived and removed the oven to his workshop for repair - and that was only after a Solicitor got involved.

It is now 25th June and we stil have no oven and therefore no means of baking, roasting or grilling our food. Conforama say it may take up to 4 weeks, and Teka tell us it is because they depend on Spain for spare parts.

Throughout our dealings with Conforama we have had nothing but rudeness ( verging on abuse on one occasion ) : their customer services never answer the phone and very rarely answer e mails. They have never apologised at any stage for these delays and can only rudely revert to their contract with us which states ( in the small small print of course ) that they cannot be held responsible for external suppliers - even though we bought the oven from them.

They are an awful Company to deal with and we would certainly never recommend buying anything from them let alone a €12K kitchen.

Expert cheaters

I bought a bed and mattress from them. Both make offensive sound during night.

I complained to them, but they don’t recognize the sound as a defect. Conforama believes that a defect should be visible and sound of bed when sleeping is not visible.

So, they lied to me when selling the product as they told me it has guarantee if there is any defect.

I never ever buy from them and don’t recommend them to anyone as they are expert cheaters.

Very very disappointing experience they…

Very very disappointing experience they give you 2 years guarantee but than its not covered by the manufacturer wich was never explained to me during the buying operation.To top up I received an email with that information and with the wording "conforama considera desde este momento o processo pos-venda encerrado"really????? NEVER will use them again!!!!

No product and no money back

I ordered a washing machine. The delivery dates were unacceptable so I cancelled the order. (by email because theres no cancel option on the website). One week later they told me they didn't have stock anyway and to cancel the order.
No reply to emails, waiting list on the phone for no solutions. One month and still waiting for the reimbursement. Never again

I have ordered an office chair the…

I have ordered an office chair the 17/12/2020, 100 euros+20 for the delivery.
I have never received the chair and asked for a refund at the end of January.
Today is the 30/03/2021 after almost 4 months, countless emails and phone calls I still didn't receive my money back. In addition to this the Customer service agents (when they answered, because it is a miracle just to be able to speak with someone) are extremely rude and incompetent.

Where's the customer support???

I don't dislike the store itself, it's got some interesting products.
The trouble starts if your shopping experience goes wrong by some reason..
In December I bought 4 chairs at the store in Lumiar that were said to be in stock. However, the computer was wrong and there weren't 4 chairs at the warehouse. I was promised they would gather all the remaining chairs and they would be delivered at my home.
2 months later, I'm still here waiting.
I can't go there personally because with the quarantine they are closed to public, my written complaints on the site get no response and the complaint at the official complaint book got me one call where again, it was promised they would take a week more.
And nothing still.
