Fitbit is the Worst

I am here to share my opinions on how crappy Fitbits are. I'm on my eighth Fitbit, at least. They die so quickly. I’m finding that they are made with worse and worse and worse quality. I only bought it for the app, and now the app is also not that appealing when you see what else is up there. If one person reads this review and decides to buy their Garmin, this post is worth it. Such gigantic loss of money with these guys. I can’t believe they can improve the product quality.

I have bought a fitbit charge 2 and…

I have bought a fitbit charge 2 and that was fine and now on my second fitbit charge 6.

The worst watch ever. I am so so so disappointed over the product. The first watch lasted only for around a year, and suddenly the screen went black. Have turned it on and the watch got warm. After a year I couldn't get a guarantee...

Now my second as I took over from one of my family members, has lasted about a year. And the battery has decreased fast. Even though it is fully charged after a day, it can go from 70% to 0.

Not buying fitbit anymore and it went worse when Google took over. The app and watch doesn't agree with each other..

Fitbits are rubbish.

Fitbits are rubbish.
I've had several, and many family members have bought them.
They all started to loose power, and most eventually stop working.
Interestingly this all starts a short period after 2 years, which is just after the warranty runs out, and you can't get a replacement.
BUILT IN OBSOLESCENCE !!
No more Fitbits!!

poor quality

no idea why there's such a hype over fitbit charge 6.
software is rather unprecise, at times even totally wrong.
screen frozen for a few hours already after a few days of use, then over and over again.
of course nobody takes responsibility, even though the device is not exactly cheap.
very disappointing. don't buy it.

Google ruined fitbit

Fitbit no longer has its own dedicated website,so I've had to leave this review on the community forum. The forum it's self is great, lots of helpful users telling you how to work around the many floors and issues with fitbits and it's associated app. Three months ago I purchased a charge 6, and I really don't know why I bothered. I had a charge 4 that bricked it's self, various charge 5's that bricked them selves (I must have had 2 or 3 warranty claims before I finally gave up on the things) and now after a long awaited update the charge 6 has done the same! Ignoring the poor quality of the trackers the app has reduced in functionality with each update. A case in point, you can no longer create custom meals and save them online. No option to convert a falsely logged workout to driving, whick completley ruins your daily callories burned. The homescreen is constantly cluttered with useless information (I don't care about cardio load, it just looks like something Google have made up to try and get you to buy the premium)
In summary fitbit used to be good untill Google got their claws i to it, now with each new device and update reliability and usability just gets worse. All Google care about is scraping as much data as they can from their users and because of this they have ruined what used to be a good functional app and tracker
