Full of crap

Ridiculous security for a few loose coins. I deposited a small amount of crypto from a known International platform. However, the transaction was put on hold due to security issues. They requested the name of the sending platform and screenshots relating to the platform and transaction. I have given them what they asked. In return, they can't even have the decency to respond with any update. Not even an estimated turnaround time. Tried calling them, but the representative was rude and even hung up the phone. The chatbot is a joke, cannot even respond to a basic question. By far the worst customer service of all if you can even call them that.

I stopped getting any replies from this…

I stopped getting any replies from this platform right after I sent the last required payment. I think it was a Tuesday when the site completely locked me out. Before that happened, I put in an initial amount of €26,450. The dashboard showed my account had grown to €321,115 over a few months. When I tried to close my account to take the funds out, they told me I had to pay an exit fee of €45,110, which was never mentioned when I signed up. I paid that fee, but then I had to wait three days just for a password reset link to work. After that, no answers came from them. I went to the local police to file a report. Several weeks went by with no solution from the police station. So, I took the issue to the international level by submitting a formal case. I filed my paperwork with Q.ՍSTITᎪ for them to process the claim across borders. They handled the coordination between different agencies. Later on, a trace report was completed. An enforcement action started, and the stolen money was returned to me.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS APP

DO NOT EVER USE THIS APP

As a long-time crypto user, I expected smoother service—especially when it comes to something as important as receiving my salary. Instead, I was met with unnecessary delays and repeated requests for documents that simply don’t exist in many remote work setups (like contracts or employer certifications). I explained clearly that I’m a freelancer working for a client, but they still rejected the transaction and are now taking 3-5 business days just to send the funds back.

They received the money instantly, but returning it? Days of waiting. That’s rent and bills on hold—for no real reason.

I understand the need for compliance, but Coins.ph seems poorly equipped to support freelancers and digital workers who don’t fit into the traditional mold. If you're a remote worker relying on timely payments, I suggest using other crypto wallets that are more freelancer-friendly.

Timothy

Foreigner here. Registered in May 2024, turned over several millions of PHP through this exchange and brought them to this country from abroad (obviously). Used it to receive funds from family and friends in crypto only. The exchange has been "inviting" me to KYC myself even though everything was provided to them upon registration. June 2025 they deactivated my account saying i didn't comply with KYC requirements so apparently these "invites" were not just invites.
Tried contacting support - they put me through 12 long lasting days of softball emails demanding some papers. After everything was provided their team took 2 days to respond that my account is now closed.

To add:
Deposits if not in USDT are slow to be credited on your balance, withdrawals take 15+ minutes (manual basically).
If your sending wallet is not "verified" (by their own criteria), they'll refund it in 5-10 business days which is laughable for 2025. My 10k usdt and 0.2 btc deposits were declined and i freaked out because the money was needed here urgently.
If that's how best crypto exchange of the Philippines looks like i am truly sorry for the users. Hopefully some good competitor is being built right now. I'll be looking out for one now to be their customer.

Good liquidity and exchange rate on USDT/PHP pair though, like... always and as it should be.

The WORST. I do not recommend.

Coins.ph blocked my transaction without real reason and won’t unlock my account

I’ve been using Coins.ph to send crypto, but recently they blocked my transaction to another exchange without clear explanation. I provided all requested documents (ID, screenshots, transaction details), yet my account remains restricted.

Support replies are generic, and it feels like they don’t want to release funds to competing exchanges. I’ve complied with everything, but there’s zero transparency and no real updates.

It seems like they are intentionally holding my money hostage. This is very concerning, especially for a regulated platform.
I strongly do not recommend using Coins.ph until they become more transparent and fair to their users.

Coins.ph are thieves

Coins.ph are thieves. I transferred some XRP to one of their users (transaction hash A73C0FB47BAB487CC274D8A03F67C9C3D0C0850F48B979D8058337F1CE123CE8). However, coins changed the receivers wallet address from the last time I sent to them 6 months ago. They refused to refund the XRP stating it is their policy to keep people's money if they send to an old wallet address.

I'll never do business with this platform again NEVER EVER

WHAT!? Do I really need a minimum of 1 BCH ($300+) before being able to transfer to an external crypto wallet!? And then YOU demand me to take a picture of myself everytime I try to get my money out of your platform. Not only are YOU a surveillance engine but also charging me a high fee for pretty much anything.

For me, I'll never going to use Coins PH again. If you don't mind it's high fees, high minimum deposit, problematic customer service, and it's ability of spying on your phone (most smartphone apps are like it but not all have equal amount of data collection), it's up to you. I'm just giving you tips.

P.S this experience also thought me a valuable lesson about dealing with digital financial institutions. Although banks in general aren't really my best friends, choose banks wisely. Dormancy fees are no joke. It could even lead to serious consequences.

They take your hard earned money. It’s very hard to make a profit with coins ph.

I put my hard earned money to trade with crypto through coins ph. I borrowed 491,000 and my collateral was around 120,000. I had XRP traded on them but XRP went down and my liquidation rate went down under 15% so I tried to sell everything but they wouldn’t let me. If I was able to sell my XRP I would have enough to repay them and get some of my money back. I would still have around 50,000 pesos from my money but they took everything when I got liquidated at 10%.

My trading experience with them was so bad. When you buy 1 token, for example XRP that’s worth 144.00 pesos you buy it from them at around 147.00 pesos. I bougt 1000 tokens at 144,000, the price I got it was 147,000 I think and only got 900+ of token. They take fees from you and then they take some of your token which is absured. This is clearly a scam. Oh and they take 2,000 pesos fees for every transaction I did with my XRP on top of the other fees and prices. Never again with them. They’ll take a run for your hard earned money.

In Short It's a Con

It's a manipulative, legal, and licensed way to siphon the hard earned money of investors. The government agency that gave them a license probably does not know anything about cryptos. Their conversion rate from usd to php is so low, you can check it by getting the actual market price online in usd and converting it into php. if a coin appreciates by 20% the listed price in coins.ph is just about +10%. They made the site like that so that investors will have a hard time verifying the market price in real-time. The Philippines desperately needs a fair and legitimate crypto trading platform and guys coins.ph is not that.
