In my experience, Cogniora offers excellent products and great customer service. I have no complaints at all and would recommend this company. After 6 months with them, I'm considering locking in an annual membership which is something I *never* do! :)
That said, I'd like to see...
• eco friendly packaging
• the ability to change the despatch date of your next box yourself from the online dashboard
• a community forum to share experiences and ask questions
• more clarity with the trial. I had no issue with the automatic subscription - it tells you in several places when you sign up that this is going to happen unless you cancel and you have to click to agree, so I signed up and immediately cancelled. The trial pack came, I tried it, loved it and signed up again. The problem is that the pack took some time to come and had I not already cancelled, I would have been signed up for another month before I'd had a chance to even try them. I can understand people's frustration with this.

- We're now actually in the process of introducing the biodegradable and then compostable packaging.
- As for the despatch date, you can now delay it by 1, 2 or 3 weeks yourself. Otherwise, if you email us at help@cogniora.com, we'll be happy to do it for you!
- With regards to the community, we have that in our back log hopefully to be introduced in Q4 this year.
- Regarding the free sample packs, we did have some difficulties with our current couriers causing some arrival delays. We definitely understand people's frustration with this, too, and are introducing one-day deliveries from within the UK by the end of the month.

I’m spending lots of time in the office and there’s no way I could handle the hours while still staying alert without extra help from these supplements. Overpackaged and expensive
Although these may well be good quality products , and it is good there is a sort of quiz to help pick the right ones for mood , energy etc etc, which does mean a more tailored approach - they are overpriced and massively overpackaged.
I don't see why they need to be in a tough plastic daily sachet - could be biodegradable , and definitely don't need to be in a heavy duty card box with card printed info- could be a web-link or a recycled paper slip.
Plus when you sign up for a month supply , you are only getting actually 3 weeks - as they say a month's supply includes 1 week break from the product - I found this a bit dishonest on an already expensive product.
With a review of pricing and packaging , this may become a worthwhile investment, but I did not yet see a huge surge in energy in the few weeks I have used it so far, and don't feel inclined to renew subscription.

Sleazy and misleading tactics , low level customer support
I ordered a trial first by seeing their ad
Straight after the order has been confirmed a pop-up appeared with Upgrade and accidentally I pressed it
So guess what - my trial was cancelled and I was charged £40 without even asking or letting me know this leads to spending of money
I never thought such sleazy tactics can be used by legit company nowadays!
Straight after this - please note it was 10.30pm on Friday I wrote to customer service to let them know and ask on sticking with trial first which make sense
Mary which is their customer representative let me know the order is in production and dispatched and nothing can be done.Again no proof of shipment ,no tracking number.Just utter hit and run rubbish company.
Really? You work 24/7 and it takes you 10 days to deliver ?! Are you really thinking your customers are so silly to think straight after payment has been done some folk is processing/dispatching/sending and no way to send refund because the pills are personalized? So the pills are personalized and they go straight into production phase however it does not reflect on trial as it can easily be replaced by higher order
Oh,and when I asked how to get it refunded back to them and to cancel my subscription on their end - Guess what response I received?
We completely understand you and care for you as a customer and nothing that can be considered a response to above questions
I guess my best bet is to open a PayPal dispute and let Instagram know ( which showed me this ad by the way ) to never show me those misleading ads and Cogniora

With regards to subscription, a very minimal amount is charged for shipping and handling, However if you choose to upgrade to a full box, we offer a 30% discount from the regular subscription amount. Perhaps this was the reason you paid £40.
Our personalised nootropic boxes automatically go into production with our partners once the charge has been made.
The deliveries have significantly been delayed due to COVID-19. We are looking into delivery options that can provide us with better service even during these times as we do not want to compromise customer satisfaction.

My situation is very much the same as all the other terrible reviews. Applied for the free trial, then £61 was taken out of my account, as requesting the free trial, automatically subscribes you every month.
Once I opened the box, i realised there was only 20 packets of tablets (They get round this by saying to take for 5 days and have 2 days off)
Absolute awful 20 days of tablets for £61!!!!

THEY GAVE PAYPAL A FALSE TRACKING NUMBER IN THE CASE I OPENED.
Should tell you everything you need to know, but the full story is outlined below.
First off, avoid the free trial. It's a misleading catfish into a subscription.
Then they won't refund the subscription.
Then you won't receive the items for a month and they won't post them until you open a case with PayPal....literally, at this point guys just give the money back. Don't send the day PayPal knock at your door ONE MONTH after taking payment.
THEN shipping is from Lithuania.
So you'll have been out of pocket from the subscription for nearly two months, and have gone through a complaints procedure with PayPal, to get the subscription you didn't sign up for.
Just the worst 🤮

Ok, then why does it take a MONTH and a PAYPAL DISPUTE for you to SEND IT??
Then trying to blame the delay on the delivery service because of Covid. Lol.
Charged on the 8th July, item NOT POSTED until the 4th AUG 3 DAYS AFTER a PayPal dispute was opened.
But yeah, it's the carriers fault the delivery is delayed.

Poor delivery and Service - avoid this company
This company has serious distribution problems. They seem unable to provide their products on time, but they're on time at taking my monthly subscriptions. I am told this is due to COVID and that they are looking to distribute from within the UK soon.
Customer service are always very apologetic but are unable to get my supplements to me regularly. I am now 1 month behind and have nearly run out with no sign of my box.

I started with just a couple of pills from the stack of 4 (rodiola and guarana) and will add the remaining two in a week. I really feel like it makes me more alert and focused. Just make sure you label the capsules so we can tell what is what, four stars because of that.

Regarding the experience with our subscription, please be aware that our free trial promotion enrolls you into a renewing subscription with the first payment being triggered in 14 days after the start of the trial period.
Once a subscription is canceled before the renewal date, the account is closed and no longer charged. The only time a subscription order renewal takes place is if the subscription is not cancelled before the renewal date. Answering your question, we NEVER charge our customers if the subscription is cancelled.
As for the delivery delays, we'll be following you up to help you out with this. We've indeed have been having some COVID-19 related delays (especially in the Netherlands) so if the package is lost we'll be more than happy to redeliver!

Deceptive practices.
I got to the final page and saw a countdown timer which reads: "THE OFFER EXPIRES IN" and a countdown start from 15 minutes.
After this expires it just restarts the countdown.
This is deceptive, I won't be giving my money to a company who uses tactics such as this.

“Free Sample” yeah, no. You get automatically (and very sneakily) signed up for a subscription and very quickly £50+ is leaving your account. I made sure to not confirm the next order even though they were offering a discount and low and behold, I’m still subscribed. Underhanded marketing methods and very overpriced supplements.
I can confirm with another reviewer that NO EMAILS were received to confirm the subscription I had “signed up” for, obviously only about ONE THING, and that’s making money. Not health, not customer service, just ripping people off as often as possible under complete BS excuses.

No evidence of customer service
You’d think that after getting 25% 1* reviews on Trustpilot, that *potential* customers are trying to communicate that there’s something wrong with Cogniora’s subscription delivery.
The product may be good but to be fuzzy and vague about how the subscription works following a free trial and then claim “sorry but it’s personalised and goes straight in to production the MOMENT a payment is taken” is the behaviour of a company that only cares about one thing and that is your money. NOT your health, NOT your performance or potential future business.
I had money taken on Sunday, sent an email 5 hours later and had a, very standard, obviously well-practiced, response 2 whole days later. Convenient level of customer service considering the above claim re: personalised production.
I received 4 emails since sign up. 1 to activate my account. 1 for my quiz results. 1 for Getting Myself Familiar and another on What to Expect...
Not ONE mentioned any subscription had been entered in to OR was due to be charged anytime soon. I kept an eye out for subscription details when signing up for the trial and was pretty confident I’d escaped without signing up. At the point, I was excited to try them.
Now all I’m left thinking is that the “g” in their name must be silent.
EDIT:
You have to make this reply to people so often, you’ve got a copy and paste response all ready to go. That should show you what needs to happen with your service but you choose to ignore it and gaslight people in to thinking they’re either; stupid, careless or lying.
I’ve been offered and accepted a 50% refund but I will never be back. That’s on you and you only.
