I enrolled in Code Institute’s Full Stack Software Development course and submitted my final projects in the first week of April 2025. According to their own guidance, assessments are supposed to be marked within 6–8 weeks.

It is now over 4 months later, and I still have not received my results. I have sent multiple follow-up emails. On 10 July, I received a reply confirming my projects were “in the process of assessment,” but since then I have had no further updates despite repeated attempts to contact Student Support.

For context, one of my previous submissions was marked in just 4 days, so this prolonged silence is unusual and very disappointing — especially considering I have paid for the course in full.

I believe paying students should be kept informed if marking will take significantly longer than advertised. Clear communication and transparency are essential, especially for those awaiting results to progress their careers.

At this stage, I hope Code Institute resolves this promptly, but I wanted to share my experience so other students are aware of potential delays.

I signed up to Code Institute several months ago with the promise of live tutoring seven days a week, and recently they have posted a message saying that weekend tutoring is now gone. They have also said that an AI bot will be deployed to answer questions, and any questions that I do ask take hours to get a response.
I've looked it up online and according to glassdoor, it looks like they fired their tutor team and a bunch of other staff too.
This is ridiculous. I paid a lot of money for tutoring, and now it's gone! I didn't pay for AI. I could use ChatGPT for free. Why anyone would use Code Institute now that support is impossible to get is a mystery. Regretting every penny I spent.

It was a very fun, interactive experience. I personally enjoy learning so I found it fun watching the videos and putting what I have learnt to the test through the mini exercises and small quizes at the end.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MY RESULTS FOR LAST PROJECT FOR MORE THAN 16 WEEKS NOW!!! I AM NOW IN SO MUCH DEBT BECAUSE HEROKU KEEPS CHARGING ME FOR THE LAST PROJECT I MADE FOR CODE INSTITUTE AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT REVIEWED MY PROJECT IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN 16 WEEKS NOW SINCE MY RESUBMISSION!!!! IT IS GETTING RIDICULOUS, I HAVE BEEN TRANSAPRENT WITH THEM, MESSAGE THEM ALL THE TIME TOLD THEM IF THEY COULD EXPEDITE IT NOTHING IS HAPPENING AND I AM WAITING RIDICULOUSLY AND THE CHARGES IS JUST PILING UP AND I HAVE TOLD THEM THIS AND NOTHING HAS BEEN EXPEDITED THEY JUST KEPT PUSHING BACK

The introductory tutorial to Data analytic is well structured to get the basics knowledges. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from a Code Institute worker who helped me with orientation for this course

Don't waste your time. I set up 3 different strategy calls to ask questions about the full-stack software development course and each time nobody showed up to the call/meeting even though it was via their own booking system. They don't respond to emails either. Ridiculous

The lecture was amazing and my expectations were met.

Please do not waste your money on this course. Absolutely rip off. My last review was removed for speaking the truth. Paid £6000 and due to being ill and in hospital and not being able to finish in the set time. I was taken off it. They are not interested once they get your money. AVOID

The Code Institute’s Introduction to Data Analyst course is a clear and beginner-friendly overview of what it means to work with data. It covers the basics of data types, variables, and using Python for analysis in a way that’s easy to follow. Perfect for anyone curious about data or considering a career in this field. Highly recommended as a starting point!

As of June 30th, I was awarded a Diploma and finished my 365-day journey through the Full Stack Software Development course.
Learning new things, rules and protocols, and reminding myself of things I forget.
Always supported with a huge community of Trainers, students, and Alumni.
I'll miss my weekly group meeting, where encouragement from the group facilitator wasn't in short supply.
Course learning materials overflow in abundance, so I need to leave behind many unread/unused lessons.
That course helped me resolve my coding blockages, together with emotional ones caused by imposter-syndrome.

I started the course for Full stack developers in 2024, and my impressions are very good. The technologies teached are very important because they are very useful. The course covers almost every aspect of present day e-commerce. The projects, especially project 4 and project 5 can be used as a ground base for the development of future real life projects. The course is preparing the students for the profession of web developer, (full stack web developper, i.e. front end and back end.) Once mastering Python, Django and Java Script one is on the way of becoming fully-fledged professional, and the course is laying the ground for that by teaching these technologies. As a recommendation I would suggest the future material to be better organized as a digital book maybe, with a knowledge map and flash cards, as at present it is a bit difficult to browse the lessons and takes time to find the topics you might be willing to review again, with the purpose of refreshing and upgrading your knowledge. Probably, it is a good idea this digital book to be at the disposal of the students for next year or two so they can review the lessons time and again, solidifying their knowledge. It is very important that the teachers are experienced professionals who have worked as developers and programmers, thus introducing the students into the profession and revieling what it is to be a developper.

Completing the Diploma In Full-Stack Software Development course with Code Institute has been a truly transformative experience. The structured curriculum, and constant support from my mentor, Tutors and fellow learners from the Slack community helped me gain confidence in coding from scratch.

What stood out the most was the strong community, facilitators, and the focus on hands on learning. The course pushed me to grow, not just technically but also in terms of time management and problem solving.

If you're considering a career in tech and want a flexible, supportive way to learn, Code Institute is a fantastic choice. I'm proud to be a graduate and excited for what comes next.

Really good to begin with
Very easy and clear. I didn’t have any idea but learned a lot in an easy way

It's clear and straightforward and it covers the basics really well. Some of the exercises are occasionally confusing as the written instructions on the right side do not match the instructions in the 'code area' on the left, but they are basic enough that eventually you can figure it out. Since the course is recorded, I also wish the start date was not a specific date (i.e. on Monday DD/MM) but rather whenever the student decides to start.

Great experience, a clear & concise course plainly put and easy to follow. Definitely gave me the coding bug, onto more learning!

This was a lifechanging experience, it opens your eyes to a new world and pushes you closer to the edge of your abilities! Best choice I made in a while!
