Lots of promises that weren't backed up. The system is just a bunch of videos. When I needed support because following the instructions didn't align with how the software worked in my location, it took weeks to be able to get a hold of someone who would assist, for thousands of extra dollars, just to get things working along the system that they're trying to get me set up on to begin with. Some extensions were granted, and my AM was 'likeable' but ultimately, the system didn't have the time or resources to come nearly close to producing what was promised. It just resulted in me running a bunch of expensive ads that cost more than they produced. The result was that working with Closers was more harmful than if I had never worked with them at all. -3/10

Closers.IO completely changed my business! I utilized them for sales recruitment 3 years ago and the sales person is still with me.

I alos utilized their sales training to restructure how my sales people sell were now $1m/month!

The best company in the high ticket space for hires, consulting, training and anything else you need. Have never had a bad experience with the team or hires. Makes my life as a business owner SUPER easy.

Like others… our experience with Closers is a case of WAY over promising and WAY under delivering.

We run a high ticket coaching biz that’s dialed in. All leads are warm + organic from our YouTube channel of 38K subs. We don’t run cold traffic—cuz we don’t need to. We dominate our search terms on YouTube and have hundreds of monthly leads.

On top of that, we filter through an application process, so those leads become a full calendar of warm, kind, qualified people (again all organic) who genuinely want help. They show up basically ready to buy. It’s the type of business many dream of.

So naturally the next step was to scale by hiring closers. Enter Closers IO. We wanted to fast track the process of finding great closers since we couldn’t handle call volume alone. But working with them was a disaster.

To be clear—I liked our account manager, recruiting staff, and even the recruiting manager. But having likable people only goes so far. If you can’t deliver, you shouldn’t sell the offer. And they’re all stuck in a broken system.

Here’s why. Cole serves two avatars: (1) business owners like me, who want qualified closers, and (2) people who want to become closers. That’s the conflict.

He sells a $10K training program to anyone who wants to try being a closer, promising easy money, remote freedom, and flexible hours. Part of that pitch is they get interviews with businesses like mine.

So I was asked to interview people who had no business being there. Many had zero high ticket closing experience. Some had no sales experience at all. Many had failed businesses, spotty work histories, and were just trying to break into remote sales. Not the “killer closers” I was sold on.

And those candidates were over promised too. They were told they’d land high-paying remote gigs. But very few people actually have the skills or discipline for this role. That means I wasted time interviewing unqualified people who only got in because they paid Cole $10K.

I spent around $30K (with add-ons I didn’t need) mainly to fast track hiring qualified closers… only to be pushed toward people who never should have been in the recruiting pipeline. It's a completely broken system.

And I genuinely felt bad for the people I interviewed. Many won’t get hired, or will bounce from offer to offer until they give up. So I don’t get what I paid for, and neither do they.

No entrepreneur who prioritizes client outcomes would build a business like this. But Cole is clearly money driven. Which leaves clients like me getting the shaft.

My wife and I have 35+ years combined as entrepreneurs. We get business. We’ve built many. And when you put client results first, the money follows. But Cole built a system where he over promises and under delivers to TWO different client types at the SAME time.

And I’m not just out $30K. I’m down hundreds of thousands due to poor performance of the Closers they placed.

I’m also in an amazing mastermind with a couple dozen business owners like me, with warm organic traffic and dialed businesses. At least four of them had the exact same experience with Closers IO that we did. So no, it’s not just us.

But they did try to blame us, saying we didn’t trust the people they placed. Not true. We liked them. And we trusted them with our leads, our clients, our process, all of it. But this is a results-driven role—you either close consistently or you can’t stay.

Another flaw: you only get 45 days to replace a bad hire. That’s not enough for some good people to ramp and learn an offer. So you want to be patient with culture fits, but you’re constantly “on the clock.”

And when we asked if we could pay more for someone with stronger experience, they still couldn’t find anyone. Which shows their pipeline isn’t what they claim.

So if you’re considering Closers IO to scale a sales team—I’d strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

If you’re considering their coaching programs—I’d also encourage you to look elsewhere. Major pieces are missing there too.

My experience with Closers.io has always been amazing! I have joined lots of coaching programs and closers.io have by far set the highest standard of excellence. Account managers are a bit too busy for this job. The course content is really good and I learned a ton about sales. But it's more of a pay-to-learn then a pay-for-actual-service, they don't really do anything other than direct you to training. The training is really good though, so that makes it kinda worth it. Really pricey, but they did form my initial sales team and I'm very grateful for the experience overall.

We have done a lot of coaching over the years with many different individuals and businesses and Closers.io is the first time it feels as though our coach, Aaron Griffin, is actually invested in us and what we do. It isn’t just our weekly phone calls where he gives suggestions and ideas of ways to promote our business, but he will randomly send Slack messages throughout the week if he comes up with another idea or suggestion or just wants to see where our numbers are for the most recent ad we ran, which tells us he cares and is actually thinking about ways to help us at times other than just on our weekly phone call. No matter the issue we are running into, there is always someone that Aaron is able to connect us to through Closers.io that is able to help us work through whatever the situation. Sometimes you can get on a call with someone that you are paying to coach you and you feel like you are having to tell them what it is that you do and how your business works for a majority of the phone call but that has never been the case with Aaron. He fully understands what we do and how we do it where you can tell he has done his own research on us and truly wants to do all that he can to help us succeed. Most of all he relates to where we struggle with our business. We can tell it is always on his mind and that it bothers him until he helps us find a solution. That means more than anything! I will definitely be coming back to add to this review once we get to the selling portion of our offer as right now we are still getting it put together.

The Closer support calls that Phil runs have been very helpful. His tactical sales tips are always spot on, but I think what sticks with me the most is the countless mindset shifts and principles that I now carry with me before, during, and after my sales calls. A large part of why I not only have a very high close rate, but more importantly, my performance is able to be consistent!
