The decaff tea tastes like decaff tea of old (when the taste was so distinctly different / flowery that you knew you were drinking decaff and not caff tea). Even most supermarket budget decaff tea ta... See more

Just switched from my regular brand because all though it was a good brand it wasn’t organic. The Earl Grey from Clipper I really like. It’s light, meaning not too strong for me, having said that I... See more
I’ve been drinking Clipper decaf for years. It used to be full of flavour and really satisfying. Recently, it’s become extremely weak, even using two bags per cup. Something has clearly changed in the... See more
Why has Clipper Everyday Organic tea changed so much? It was a lovely golden, fresh-tasting drink until this last packet of 100 (bought in August 2022). Now dark and bitter! Won’t be buying again des... See more
Just purchased what I thought normal…
Just purchased what I thought normal everyday tea but for the second time bought Green tea instead. Costly mistake!
Why doesn't Clipper have a different colour box for different teas. As I had opened box and made the tea with milk! Realised the mistake. Could not get a refund for my mistake as I had opened the box.
Sad to see such awful reviews
Sad to see such awful reviews. Personally I really like their organic everyday tea bags…won’t drink anything else for breakfast. They need a 5 minute brew but the taste never becomes bitter.
I also think their herbal teas have a much stronger taste than their insipid Pukka counterpart. Use much less packaging too.
Clipper are my favourite herbal teas
Clipper are my favourite herbal teas. They have much stronger and more enduring flavour than other brands (looking at you Pukka) and they don't faff around with bits of string.
Nettle tea has gone downhill
Nettle tea has gone downhill. Even brewing the bag for an hour gives you nothing more than a cup of light brown tasteless water. It's been like this for the last few months.
You have lost a life long customer.
Have bought organic clipper tea for…
Have bought organic clipper tea for years but last two boxes of tea bags taste of nothing at all. Not buying any more I like my tea to taste!
Fake marketing trash
Fake marketing traah. Nothing biological, artificial junk.
So expensive and very bland
So expensive and very bland. Even with two tea bags, still can't taste the tea. Just a rip off for weak tea
Don't waste your money, absolutely awful
Awful. Expensive so called Earl Grey teabags, they don't even smell of bergamot, just weak black tea. Shocking. Waste of money and going in the bin and I'll be back to buying Twinnings....
Very poor customer service don’t reply…
Very poor customer service don’t reply to emails sent, is that too much bother for them evidently so. Not even an acknowledgment.
Quality has dropped
Quality has dropped. Hardly worth drinking and not at all satisfying. M&S is currently a better choice. Had the same issue with Yorkshire Tea and the same evasion from customer services another reviewer got from Clipper. I think it's to do with Assam tea being expensive due to poor crops.
What has happened to Clipper tea?
What has happened to Clipper tea?? It has always been my favourite, and now its tasteless. What have you done? I can see by reading the other reviews on this site that I am not the only one. Very sad - it was the one product I specifically shopped elsewhere for as my local supermarket didn't stock it.
These tea bags used to be my go to but…
These tea bags used to be my go to but the quality is so bad now they are lower grade than PG tips, will have to find an alternative, such a shame as they were delicious and used to buy in bulk, now I have three large packs that I have to get through, they taste of dishwater!
My New Tea
I had Clipper English Breakfast in a cafe and thought it lovely so bought some. I prefer it to my usual tea and find it does not give me heartburn as some teas do. Makes a lovely brew !
Fancy a cup of hot brown water anyone?
The mighty one? LOL. It's completely tasteless, like drinking water. Second cup I left it to brew for 6 minutes just in case, still tasteless. When it first brewed the colour was strong, so I though, hhhm maybe this could be good, then I tried it :-(
The brand I was with for 30 years (biggest tea brand in the UK) suddenly decided to ruin their tea through greedflation, this Clipper tea is my fourth attempt to find a replacement, but this is as bad and as tasteless as the greedflation brand. It's so rubbish I actually have binned it, it's pointless to drink it, I may as well just sip hot water. Have these people never tasted a proper cup of tea! Ugh, the search goes on.
Clipper decaff - tasteless
Clipper decaff - I'm so disappointed in this product, it wasn't cheap and it doesn't taste of anything. I've tried leaving the teabag in for ages and it still is the same. Decaff doesn't have to be tasteless, sorry for the bad review but felt I had to say.
Wow what lovely cup of tea
Wow what lovely cup of tea, the best I say, I've tried them all, and this comes out tops in my opinion, shall definitely buy again
Seems like the Early Grey Clipper has…
Seems like the Early Grey Clipper has lost a lot of the Bergamot taste. My wife was like "You've given me the wrong tea" but she just made herself one straight from the box and can't taste any bergamot. Disappointing.
Appearances only matter for this company
It is all about appearances on the outside: the box, the colours, the politically correct statements on the package, the organic ´feel´ of the paper teabags, etc. etc. There is only one tiny item missing: FLAVOUR and QUALITY of the black tea which is put inside. Is there no one in that company who ever tasted this brew for him/herself? And compared it with real black teas out there on the market? Conclusion: totally overpriced and hysterically hyped brand, selling a below mediocre product.
Customer services are a joke
Customer services are a joke.
Having been a customer for a long time , the taste changed considerabley with two boxes.....which we believe , turned out to be de-cafe... but they insisted the tea bags we sent back were " consistent with the retained sample" ,the morons still can't understand how stupid that statement is! All that means is the entire batch including the retained sample were wrong ! The vouchers didn'r cover the cost of sending the boxes back..
Lost a regular customer....morons
I have been buying clipper green tea…
I have been buying clipper green tea with lemon as I like the taste but have to say I will be changing to another brand as there is no lemon in them since they have removed the foil packaging!!!!
