Very good value.

I had originally given a lower score but now realise this was most unfair. For £40 subscription a year this company offers exceptional value and I wonder if the subscription was increased significantly if they could employ more staff for improved customer support.
My support tickets have been cleared.

Lack of support

I have had sites with Clikpic for years, with no problem. However, this March I bought a new domain and package to build a new site. That was ok, but then I bought an email address from them but was informed that then, in March, it was not possible to set up email, but they were hoping to sort it in 24 hours and send me my password. I have had nothing. I opened numerous support tickets that went unanswered. Then a few months later, I had a reply to say one ticket had been merged with another, and for me to follow the instructions of the other reply but guess what, there was no instruction. No phone no to ring and speak to anyone. I even tried contacting them on another email of mine in case he had blocked mine by mistake. Still no reply. I repeatedly asked for my money back if they can’t set up my email. It’s frustrating because the software is easy to use and a great price. I could understand if there’s a problem if onlythey’d reply but to just ignore, isn’t on. I even wrote to the address explaining that I just want my email working, but my support tickets remain unanswered. What can we do?

Click pic have hit rock bottom

Have renewed my subscription on the 27th August after a notification. Payment of £155.00 by bacs. Still getting e-mails saying my subscription ends tomorrow. They only sent one e- mail back, after I sent them a message saying I had paid. All he asked was what was the problem? Tomorrow I guess I will not have a web site and had £155.00 stolen from me. Will speak to my bank tomorrow.

Had a website for over 12 years with Clikpic…

I have used the Clikpic website for over 12 years plus, it used to be good, Its changed for the worse. I decided to create a new fresh website . However they will not remove my clikpic details on the web, I have tried to contact customer services who take days/weeks to come back, if your lucky, a couple of my messages have been ignored. Then when I do get a reply its very negative going round in circles and non helpful non committable and totally unhelpful. Previously Customer Services were helpful and I was satisfied with the help received. I wouldn't recommend them .

!!SHOULD BE NO STARTS DO NOT USE!!

!!SHOULD BE NO STARTS DO NOT USE!!

I have used Clikpic for many years, they used to have a great service with Jo answering and solving issues usually within a day. Then Tom Peers took over 2-3 years ago who is not helpful, doesn't reply and shows no sign of even wanting to resolve issues..I would go so far as to say he is even rude.

Then things got worse. Tom Peer obviously owns the company (Thomas Hugo Peer, and Dr Fiona Michelle Peer, registered office 168 Arthur Road, London, check on Companies House).

Last year I renewed and as per usual it took 3 days for it to even be acknowledged, my website was down.
This year I renewed, sent an email to confirm my renewal and payment, and still received the 'due to expire' email, with no acknowledgement.

After a week there is still no response to 4 emails, my website is still down and like others it does not seem that it will be renewed even though I have paid.

On Companies house it is listed as still trading, although it does seem that this person is just taking money and doing nothing.

I shall be looking into what I can do about this and contacting whoever I can to report this, it is just disgraceful.

Clikpic used to have a Facebook Page which was full of complains which has also vanished.

It does seem this is a case of take as much money as possible and hide behind an email address which is easy to ignore with impunity and register office which is clearly just mailbox. It is a limited company and accounts show they took 120k and 150k over the last two years.

It does seem there are many website that are still hosted but also many this year with issues renewing too so I am reaching out to as many as I can to ask if they have had problems.

I would just say avoid at all costs, the service is terrible, the functionality is poor and often broken and now it seems money is just being stolen.

Terrible company

Inherited the role as webmaster for a site that was already using Clikpic. Would not have been my first choice but decided to give it a chance due to time constraints. Rather clunky and inconsistent website interface (not to mention numerous typos etc in the tools) but was just about tolerable until recently. Support has always been slow/poor but now they have stopped responding entirely. Will be looking for alternatives ASAP.

Lost my money, lost my website. Hope my domaine name was paid for.
No response, which is similar to last year when I had problems with payments.
I assume it is illegal to take clients money knowing that the services are nolonger available.
I suggest evrybody connects Trading Standards. See if they can make conact.

Clikpic ignores requests for Help or Support. It seems it has gone into Receivership

When I first created a Clikpic website about 8 years ago, I was happy with how it worked. I managed to create a reasonable-looking photography website and subscribed for 3 years. I then renewed the 3 years, twice. In the past, if I needed support, someone always came back to me and fixed the problem. However, when I recently checked my website, it wasn't functioning how it used to. The menu bar disappears as soon as you have clicked on one of the items and you can't get it back. It is, effectively, a useless website. Starting on 8th February, on the Clikpic website "Help" section, I have raised 5 "help" tickets, but haven't had a single response. I then emailed the "support" email address three times, still no response. So now I have a useless/embarrassing website with an organisation that offers zero support. DO NOT use Clikpic if you are thinking of setting up a website. They will take your money and not provide any support whatsoever. UPDATE: I just checked all my Clikpic data and my renewal payment of £224.45 to Clikpic came back with this statement: "The transaction has been denied. Payment refused by the financial institution." It seems therefore that Clikpic have gone into receivership.

Avoid like the plague!

I have used Clikpic for two websites for a number of years and they have been OK. I recently wanted to transfer one of my sites, but the transfer facility shows, "internal server error". My support tickets have been totally ignored, so I'm now stuck. I have only a couple of months left on one site and I'll certainly not be renewing. It's disgraceful that they are still advertising and taking people's money, when they are not prepared to provide any support. I'd advise anyone not to touch this company with a barge pole.
UPDATE 29-5-23
I recently had 3 automated reminders from Clikpic about renewing my site. I messaged admin and told them I wouldn't renew unless they responded to my support tickets. No reply was forthcoming! The lights are on, but no one is in the building!!! DON'T RISK YOUR MONEY, THIS COMPANY IS DEAD!

Awful website hosts, awful customer service, and money stealers

I would say that this company has gone, or is going, into administration. But they will still take your money but not respond to any support tickets created. A really archaic, clunky Platform with help pages that are complicated and impossible for a novice. They’ve taken a years subscription and domain and bow I have a website I can’t access and a domain that I can’t transfer as they wont respond to any help tickets. They’re awful

Who hurt you Clikpic? …

I wish I had found all these reviews before renewing my subscription. No acknowledgment that I have paid to renew and I’m stuck in limbo. Have been with Clikpic for 12 years. I have been trying to get a response and tried emailing as well as trying to flag up issues via support. The phone number I tried is unrecognised also. What a tedious week this has been.

I too am very disappointed…

Like the previous reviewers I too am very disappointed with clikpic and can only echo their remarks. I've also used it for several years but I'm now finding it almost impossible to update or add anything new without spending ages reading thru poorly written, so called 'help' pages. Sadly my subscription has another 18 months to run, but I'm actively seeking an alternative web builder to display my artwork. Any suggestions, anyone?

I have used this website for a about 10…

I have used this website for a about 10 years and it used to be amazing. However for the past year or so it has changed. I didn't access my site for about a year and during 2022 have started uploading etc. The images which I prepare and upload exactly the same way display as well overexposed. I have tried to contact customer services who take days to come back, if your lucky, a couple of my messages have been ignored. Then when I do get a reply its very negative (without being rude), non committable and totally unhelpful. Previously Customer Services were helpful and I was always satisfied with the help received. Currently I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Do not make any payment to this website!!!

I had let my website lapse. I came back after a couple of months and renewed the subscription. Nothing happened and no payment was shown as processing at all for a number days. Therefore, I assumed payment hadn’t gone through and made other arrangements,

However a payment went through on my credit card 4 days later. I contacted them explaining as I had made other arrangements, I now wanted a refund. Instead of replying, that shut my support ticket as closed.

I have since contacted them twice more asking for the refund, but weeks later the messages continue to show as “awaiting administrator response”. This is despite them claiming they will answer within 24 hours.

This business is clearly no longer active, but will still take your payments but ignore everything else. Avoid like the plague!

Still operating

After a wait of about four days, I finally received a reply to my support request. I had thought that no one was at home, but apparently they're still there! If you're waiting, have hope!

Really good customer service but now non existent.

Used to be ok 5 years ago, emailed chased no response just ignored. Fonts oversized links don't work when you create or change your website and the whole result looks naff last time I saw fonts that big was in nursery in children's books. They get a 2 for good experiences several years ago when they would have had a 5 now they get a zero for zero service. They even give you links to upgrade that don't even work. It's like they were taken over by another co and just vacated without bothering to check their website if it works properly customer requests. Options to update website severely stripped back Sad they used to be good, maybe like a lot of companies they'll blame Covid for poor, absent customer service, getting sick of hearing it as it's an excuse not the reason.

Horrid uncommunicative, over complicated nightmare.

Recently I have tried to update my Clikpic website but ended up making it unusable. On trying to resolve the problem I found their user guides to be badly written, leaving you stranded. Any cries for help are met with a resounding silence from Clikpic. So I decided to leave and try another website builder. Clikpic then ignored my request to release my domain name and refund my years subscription. They even ignored me when I threatened to write this review.
Their website is incredibly difficult to use - you can’t build it visually with an easy click and drag - you have to fill in complicated check boxes and make lists that only professionals can understand. I am just an artist trying to get my work out there - I want simplicity and good customer service Clikpic is the antithesis of this. But hey - it’s cheap - that’s because YOU do all the work.
