Unreliable
We were promised better internet service with fewer outages and lower rates.
Instead we had eight major outages in the last seven months lasting twelve hours or more.
The last two times the outages occured in the middle of business zoom calls vital to making our living and costing us money in lost business.
Each time it was because someone somewhere else in the country "dug up lines", "hit a pole" or some other excuse.
When we finally called to cancel in the middle of June we were told we would still be billed through July with NO proration and would be charged extra for asking for a paper bill, mailed — adding insult to injury.
We were with our previous internet provider for seven years with only one outage - during a hurricane. We left them because the rates were getting so high, but the unreliable service with Clearwave is not worth the cheaper rate.
We are so very disappointed with Clearwave and would not recommend them in any way.
